Our wedding couples appreciate the authentic and welcoming warmth we offer at Salem Cross Inn – a warmth that can only be found in a colonial farmhouse and barn that have stood the test of time for centuries. If our walls could talk, they would tell you of all of the tender memories in the making that they have witnessed. Our New England venue with antique wide pine floors and chestnut beams sits on 600 acres of magnificent countryside with grazing cattle in the fields. We can accommodate up to 200 people in our barn and loft, while smaller weddings find a comfortable setting in one of our more intimate rooms in the house. We’re ready to help you make the wedding of your dreams become a cherished memory – not only for you – but for your guests as well.

If you need another room for your event, we offer the option to reserve multiple rooms.

10/10 Wedding Venue!
The best decision we made was booking our wedding at Salem Cross Inn! Not only was it one of the more affordable venues we found, but our guests couldn’t stop raving about the atmosphere and food! The food they cook there is delicious and they offer huge portions. One cool option is that you can choose to have deep dish apple pie and a huge bowl of homemade whipped cream for dessert instead of a traditional cake! Both the inside and outside are very picturesque; it’s nice to have an inside option in case of bad weather. I love how you don’t need to do much in terms of decorating because the place has so much charm and is filled with historical antiques. We had roughly 140 guests and it fit everyone comfortably (some of the younger guests were seated upstairs but joined everyone downstairs for the dancing part of the reception)! The Salem Cross Inn staff went above and beyond during our wedding day and provided excellent service. They also give you a preferred vendors list which helps you narrow down planning. Overall, we’re so glad we chose this venue and are excited to return for future meals!

Amazing!!
We got married at the Salem Cross Inn in September 2026. They were amazing to say the least. We had a very small wedding and they made us feel as special as if we were 150 people. It’s obvious they actually care about each wedding they hold (big or small). We are in our 60s and only having 20 people, I felt like we didn’t “need” anything special. Donna pointed out that it was our wedding and it was in fact special. She was right. She also made sure that my mom who has difficulty walking was able to easily get to the gazebo and the reception. The care they showed her was above and beyond. The service and food was amazing (I have a gluten allergy and they were wonderful to make sure everything I ate was gluten free)and I couldn’t have been happier. If they are one your list to consider don’t hesitate, just book them!

We couldn’t have chosen a better venue!
We absolutely love Salem Cross Inn and are so happy we chose it for our wedding. From the very beginning, everyone was kind, helpful, and easy to work with. Donna, Nancy, and Dawn were especially wonderful and made us feel like we were in such good hands throughout the entire process. They were always there to answer questions, help with the little details, and make everything feel so much less stressful. Our wedding day was everything we hoped for and more. Everything felt seamless, the venue was absolutely beautiful, and our guests are still talking about how much they loved it. The food was incredible! Everything was delicious, the portions were generous, and our guests raved about it all night. They also made our wedding cake, and it was absolutely amazing! It was beautiful, delicious, and exactly what we wanted. The food and cake are still some of the first things people mention when they talk about our wedding! Salem Cross Inn will always be such a special place to us. We love going back and reliving those happy memories, and we can’t wait to celebrate our anniversary there. We truly couldn’t have imagined getting married anywhere else!

Best Day Ever
From the moment we booked Salem Cross Inn, we knew we had made the right choice. The staff was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, and they set us up with a gorgeous space for our bridal party that felt intimate and special. On the day of the wedding, everyone who served our meal was attentive and genuine, making sure our guests felt welcomed and cared for—especially those who needed a little extra help. What really stood out was how the team treated every single person at our wedding like they mattered, from our closest family to our elderly relatives. Salem Cross Inn exceeded every expectation we had, and we honestly couldn't have dreamed of a better venue for our celebration.

Holiday Wonderland Experience
We had an AMAZING wedding experience at Salem Cross Inn for our winter holiday wedding! We wanted small, intimate, and more of a dinner party vibe. They provided this with ease as well as accommodated our requests, questions, and partnered this with great service. We could not have had a more pleasant and warm experience thanks to Salems with memories that we will forever cherish!
