Paige Hall features post-beam cathedral ceilings, large Palladian window, magnificent chandeliers and a greenhouse wall of windows.
Paige Hall is one of the more spectacular wedding reception locations at the Publick House. We embrace weddings and all other special pre and post wedding plans during your weekend.

Ballroom
Wonderful for an intimate dinner party!
Ideal for a mid-size gathering, this charismatic room with its unique barrel vaulted ceiling and wall of window seating overlooks our front patio. You'll find no finer place for an intimate dinner meeting or reception. This room’s name remains The Ballroom in memory of its legacy, where the ladies and men gathered for formal parties and dancing. An original 1771 flag is hung on the wall.

Crafts Hall
Perfect for a bridal shower, rehearsal dinner or baby shower
Enjoy the beauty of this room’s wood-burning fireplace and bay window with access to our front patio. It is the perfect mid-size to large room for social celebrations and small weddings. Business meetings have the flexibility of a classroom, U-Shape or hollow square set-up with plenty of room, as needed for audio equipment. This room was named after the founder Col. Ebenezers Crafts for all the hard work that he did for the Sturbridge area as well as Publick House Historic Inn.

The Garden Tent
Our white framed tent with side walls and clear arched windows sits from May through October. Surrounded by glorious gardens
Our garden tent area in the back of the Inn is a perfect reception site. It has a stone paver floor, brick walkway entrance, two chandeliers and perimeter rope lighting. Your tables, white chairs, linens and lantern centerpieces are all included with renting our tent. The natural beauty of our Red Barn Patio adds a unique flare to the garden tent area, making it the perfect venue for cocktail receptions, weddings, outdoor gatherings, reunions and business outings.

Perfect day
From our first email to the day of our wedding, the team at Publick House Historic Inn was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. Our coordinator kept us in the loop every step of the way, which made planning feel less stressful. The venue itself offers so many beautiful spots for both the ceremony and photos, and the staff knew exactly how to make everything run smoothly on the day of. They handled all the details behind the scenes so we could focus on enjoying our wedding. The team clearly knew what they were doing, and we felt taken care of from start to finish. We highly recommend Publick House Historic Inn to any couple looking for a special place to get married.

A spectacular wedding!
Oh my goodness. We had our wedding here and it was just as magical as I hoped it would be. The sales staff (who helps with booking everything, billing, etc) was so communicative and kind. They listened to our vision and helped bring it to life. They also offer several discounts if you choose to have your rehearsal dinner and/or post wedding breakfast here along with your wedding and reception (e.g. room fee waiver). I'm so happy we chose this place. I would recommend it again and again. Of course, I don't know what venue wouldn't be considered expensive, but compared to other quotes I received from other venues as we were exploring, this one is definitely more on the affordable side in my opinion.

all the New England Charm in one venue
The Publick House was amazing every step of the way. They are pros and it was wonderful to be in such good hands, it took away a ton of stress! They were VERY communicative the whole planning process and we had so many staff supporting us. Our guests kept complimenting the venue when they came up to us on the day of. The Inn itself has so much history and countless fun places on the grounds for pictures. We had the best day ever and can't wait to visit every year for our anniversary!!

Best Venue
Publick house was more than helpful with the entire wedding experience from planning to executing it was all smooth and easy. Their staff was incredible at every turn and they took the stress of planning, coordinating and setting up away and made our night extremely special. Food was amazing, the rooms and ceremony sites were incredible and the accommodations were extremely comfy. Would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone that wants a stress free wedding.

My dream wedding!
Where to begin! The Publick House in Sturbridge was the most perfect place to get married, especially in the fall. From the moment we toured the venue, to the moment we left, we felt taken care of. The staff are top notch and stay on top of all the details, accommodated all our requests, and we’re so easy to work with. Our day-of coordinator Teandra made sure we had everything we needed and managed all the little snafus that came up throughout the day without us having to worry about them. We could not recommend this place enough!!
