Scotland Run is amazing
From our first email to Scotland Run Golf Club, we knew we were working with a team that truly cared about making our wedding special. The staff responded quickly to every question and gave us detailed answers that helped us plan with confidence. On our wedding day, everything ran like clockwork thanks to their attention to detail and hard work behind the scenes. The venue itself is stunning—the scenic grounds and spacious rooms gave us the elegant, modern setting we'd been dreaming of. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how well they were treated and how beautiful the space was. We'd recommend Scotland Run to any couple looking for a venue that delivers both beauty and exceptional service.

Hire an outside coordinator
Scotland Run Golf Club is a beautiful venue, and the food was outstanding, which made it worth the price we paid. However, the experience leading up to and during our wedding day was incredibly frustrating. We booked an older wedding package, unaware it was being phased out, and the staff seemed unable to keep track of what was included. Whenever we followed up on something, the confusion was blamed on our outdated package. I ended up handling nearly all the planning myself, which defeated the purpose of having a venue coordinator. The lack of communication and organization added unnecessary stress to what should have been an exciting time. Unfortunately, this continued on our wedding day. When we arrived, no one was there to greet us or direct us where to go. We essentially let ourselves in, and I had to hunt down our coordinator just to let her know we were there. She also wasn’t available to greet our vendors and was nowhere to be found throughout the morning and afternoon while we were taking pictures. I expected someone to be present and ensuring everything was running smoothly, rather than having to coordinate things myself on my wedding day. I had provided detailed mockups of every table and space that needed to be decorated to eliminate any confusion. Despite this, the ceremony space was set up incorrectly. My dad and I had to run around looking for someone to help, and even after bringing it to their attention, it took multiple requests before anyone addressed it. The groom’s suite was another disappointment. It was actually a public locker room, and the groom and his groomsmen were only allowed to use it for approximately 30 minutes. Afterward, staff gathered their belongings and moved everything into the bridal suite. Considering the upstairs area was supposed to be designated for the wedding party, I found it odd that the groom couldn’t have a private space for the day. Another major issue was that the wedding coordinators were giving tours to prospective couples during our wedding preparations and even during our first look. Our photographer and videographer had to repeatedly ask them to move out of the shots. When I brought this up the following day, we were simply told, “That doesn’t normally happen.” I understand Scotland Run is a business, but giving tours during our private wedding moments was inappropriate. We had paid for the use of that space as outlined in our contract. It was especially frustrating that staff were available to give tours but weren’t around when we needed assistance. Thankfully, once the ceremony was over, the remainder of our wedding day went smoothly. However, the unnecessary stress leading up to that point was disappointing, especially considering the amount of money spent. One additional note: I would not recommend hosting your rehearsal dinner here. We had a group of 25 people, and rather than seating us in the restaurant, we were placed in the lobby, which was not the experience we anticipated. Overall, Scotland Run is a gorgeous venue with excellent food, but the communication, organization, and coordination left a lot to be desired. If you choose to get married here, I strongly recommend hiring an outside coordinator and getting absolutely everything in writing.

Best wedding venue!
Scotland Run made our dream wedding come to life! Not only is the venue itself beautiful, but all of the workers there are very kind and helpful. Throughout our entire wedding process they were understanding and did everything they could to help make the process of wedding planning smooth and easy. The day-of was amazing! The staff was so helpful to the point that I, as a bride that day, didn't have to worry about anything, they were on top of it all, even the little things. Our guests were obsessed with the food, everyone still talks about how they were the best appetizers they've had a wedding till this day! There are not enough kind words to explain why choosing Scotland Run as your venue is the best decision. We highly recommend!

Best day of our lives at the best venue!
My husband and I got married at Scotland Run in August 2026 and could not have had a better experience! The venue itself is modern and beautiful. The garden was in full bloom and absolutely gorgeous for pictures. The ceremony space being covered is perfect- we were able to have an outdoor ceremony with peace of mind in case it rained or was super hot. It surprises me that more venues don't have this! During the cocktail hour and reception, our guests really loved being able to go out on the balcony. It was also super convenient that we could rent the bar downstairs for our after-party. We kept the party going until 1 AM on the back patio! We also got TONS of compliments on the food. The cocktail hour, entrees, and cake were all delicious- definitely the best wedding food we've ever had. We got the most basic food package, and the value for what you pay is better than any other venue we looked at. There were even more apps than I was expecting! Most importantly, all of the staff here were incredible to work with. They executed our vision perfectly and without a hitch. Jocelyn was an amazing wedding coordinator and such a pleasure to work with from the day we booked to the day of the wedding. Our maître d', Brianna, was also so kind and helpful on the day of. So many of our guests told us this was the best wedding they'd ever been to- we couldn't agree more, and I attribute so much of this to Scotland Run!

The perfect wedding venue!
Scotland Run Golf Club provided an outstanding experience for our wedding day. Their communication was amazing throughout the entire planning process - Jocelyn and the entire team were incredible to work with and truly made this day a dream. They kept me calm and everything on track, when things started go off timeline. They prioritized what we wanted. Even bought our favorite soda since they didn’t normally stock it! I am so happy we chose SRGC, and because of them, our dream wedding was perfect.
