Charles is literally THE BEST!!!!! We used the SHI&C for my Sisters baby shower, he was so accommodating and patient with my family through decorating to breakdown! The absolute BEST!!!! More than you know, my sister LOVED EVERYTHING about it ALL!!!!! THANK YOU FOR A BEAUTIFUL VENUE TO CELEBRATE OUT NEWEST BUNDLE OF JOY ON OUR FAMILY, CHARLES!!! You're amazing!!!!

An amazing place to stay, the owner/host was very accommodating. The house is beautiful and very well taken care of. We stayed on our anniversary trip and the inn couldn't have been a better decision. To top it off, the complimentary breakfast is made from scratch and nothing like a typical hotel plain waffle.

A truly wonderful place to stay — and an even better host My wife and I stayed at Silver Heart Inn & Cottages during our trip to Independence, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about our experience. From the very beginning, Charles has been absolutely wonderful. His communication has been superb, and he has gone out of his way to be accommodating and make sure we felt comfortable and welcome. There’s a level of genuine hospitality here that you simply don’t get from a typical hotel. You can tell that Charles truly cares about his guests and about making their stay a memorable one. The inn itself has so much character and charm, and it feels warm and inviting rather than just being another place to sleep for the night. But as nice as the property is, Charles and the way he treats his guests are what really make this place special. When you’re traveling, finding somewhere you feel comfortable and genuinely welcomed can make a huge difference in the entire trip. Silver Heart Inn & Cottages has been exactly that for us. I can say without hesitation that whenever I’m back in Missouri, this is where I’ll be staying. Charles has earned lifelong customers in my wife and me, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Silver Heart Inn & Cottages to anyone visiting the Independence area.
