Such a cool venue with wonderful owners

Working with Suite B was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. The team stayed in constant contact throughout the planning process, answering questions quickly and keeping us informed every step of the way. Their venue is truly stunning—the historic details create such an elegant backdrop that honestly required minimal additional decoration on our end. On the day of our event, they handled every detail with precision to ensure everything ran smoothly and allowed us to focus on celebrating with our guests. If you're looking for a venue with both character and a responsive, professional team behind it, Suite B deserves serious consideration.

I had the opportunity to host a yoga event at this venue and let me tell you it exceeded my expectations. Jen and Marc are a delight to work with, everything was very easy and straight forward. The place is beautiful and had everything. The only note if you want to host something yoga related is there's no props so plan accordingly. I rented my own props and brought them with me. I didn't know this venue existed and now I'm so glad I found it!

We had a great experience holding our wedding reception at the Baker Building. We were on a tight budget and appreciated the reasonable price, the inclusion of tables and chairs, and the flexibility to use the vendors of our choice. The space is beautiful as is, so you don't need to worry much about decorating. Jen and Mark were so friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the whole process.

If you want to have fun in a cool, well-placed space, the Baker Building is for you. They don't yet have their speakeasy open downstairs, but I can't wait to see it when the final product is ready to go. This historic building is situated right above a flower shop that also provided florals for my bride and groom and did a fantastic job. The owners, Jen and Mark, are fantastic partners throughout the entire planning process. They provided everything we needed to have a fantastic party and were incredibly helpful as the night waned on and new things popped up. As with any historic building in Portland, there will be its quirks. For example, the Baker Building is upstairs and there's no elevator. But if you're with a group for whom that's not an issue—or you have very adaptable friends—this is a great place to host an intimate wedding where you can party all night long and then slip out to the great bars right nearby.

The Baker was the best venue for my 80s Prom themed birthday. They were welcoming and accommodating to @truenorthbar my bar tender and @djfletch my DJ - together we created a dream celebration. The separate rooms created a food/bev area and a quieter lounge in addition to the beautiful main attraction ballroom. It’s a gem of a place.
