Congratulations on your engagement! We invite you to consider The Powelton Club for your wedding venue. We are excited you thought of us to share in your special day. The Powelton Club is a private country club with a reputation for catering exceptional and exclusive weddings. Couples are invited to host their ceremony and reception on our property. We pride ourselves on customizing each wedding and exceeding the expectations of you and your guests. By hosting one wedding per day, we guarantee you receive first class hospitality throughout your experience with us. We encourage you to enjoy every minute of your engagement! Our management team is available to navigate you through the wedding planning process and will be present on your wedding day. Our venue is open to Members and Non - Members for all wedding related events.

A staff favorite, this space is ideal for small events
This space features our fireplace, decorated year-round for each season. The windows overlook the 1st tee and course scenery. Wedding ceremonies take place in front of our fireplace along with added space for cocktail hours and the reception. This space can be turned into the perfect intimate setting for smaller weddings, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners and luncheons.

The room where the party starts
This space features a moveable dance floor that may be set up here or in front of the fireplace. Tables may be set up in a U shape around the dance floor. If no dance floor is used, there is more space to accommodate guests. Lower ceilings create a more intimate feeling and offer a true "dinner time" experience for clients while the fireplace area can become more of the party atmosphere for the remainder of the evening.

Ceremonies take place between the 3rd and 4th holes on the golf course. Afterward, guests move inside to enjoy cocktail hour and the reception.

Perfect Hudson Valley Wedding Venue
We had our wedding at the Powelton Club and couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. Rebecca was responsive to every question we had leading up to the big day, and she really listened to what we wanted for our day. The venue itself is stunning—the dark wood accents give it an elegant feel, and the big oak tree on the 3rd hole was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony. The space is generous, so we never felt cramped even with all our guests there. From start to finish, the Powelton Club staff stayed on top of every detail and made sure our day ran smoothly. We'd absolutely recommend them to any couple looking for a sophisticated venue with an amazing event coordinator.

We chose The Powelton Club for our wedding and couldn't have made a better decision. From our first inquiry all the way through the big day, Rebecca and the team communicated with us quickly and reliably, which made the planning process so much easier. The venue itself is stunning—it has this beautiful, historic charm that felt classic and elegant without us having to do much decorating. Their staff was attentive and professional throughout the entire event, making sure everything ran smoothly and our guests felt taken care of. The Powelton Club has such a special atmosphere, and we'd recommend it to any couple looking for a venue with real character and heart.

Wedding Ceremony & Reception
I recently had my wedding ceremony and reception here at The Powelton Club. As a bride working with no wedding planner, Rebecca and her team made it so easy and seamless. She anticipated alot of my questions and needs which helped exponentially in navigating the wedding planning process. The day of, a bride can be very stressed but they ensured there was not one ounce of reason to stress, which helped me be in the moment and enjoy the day! The venue is BEAUTIFUL, the food was outstanding and the staff and service was impeccable. 2 weeks later and I am still receiving compliments from my guest on our venue choice. My husband and I are trying to find more reasons to host a party so that we can use The Powelton Club again that is how much we and our guests love this venue! I wish I could give it more then 5 stars!

Our Wedding was Magical
From the moment we met Rebecca and toured the venue, we knew The Powelton Club was the right place to have our wedding. The entire process from planning to our wedding day was smooth and enjoyable. The care and attention to detail provided helped us feel incredibly confident that we were as prepared as possible. We had creative ideas to make our wedding uniquely ours. Rebecca welcomed our thoughts, offered guidance and suggestions, and supported us in making the ceremony and reception a day to remember for everyone in attendance. In our search for a wedding venue, no other location in the area seemed to offer the personalized experience that we found at the Powelton Club.

Perfect in EVERY Way!!!
I recently hosted my daughter’s baby shower at The Powelton Club on November 1, 2025, and it was absolutely spectacular in every way possible. From start to finish, the entire experience exceeded our expectations. The staffing was phenomenal-warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. Every detail was handled with such care, making the day feel effortless for our family and guests. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and enjoyed by everyone. We received so many compliments! The signature drinks were amazing as well! Fun, creative, and perfectly crafted for the celebration. Thank you to the entire team at The Powelton Club for making such a special day truly unforgettable. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
