About this venue

Twelve Ponds is a 105 acre private estate wedding venue in the Catskills, where ponds, wildflower meadows, a restored farmhouse, a barn, and a stone arch look out over open hills. We host one wedding at a time, and every booking is a full-weekend buyout. The property is yours Friday through Sunday, so the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony, the reception, and a slow Sunday morning by the water all happen in one place. No shared grounds, no six-hour window that rushes you through your own wedding. Couples marry in the meadow, at the pond, or at the arch depending on the season and the light. Fall brings color across the hills, and summer evenings run long and gold. Bring the caterer you love. We have a full commercial kitchen and supply all the tables, chairs, plates, glassware and cutlery for any occasion. Twelve Ponds is for couples who want a wedding weekend, not a wedding day.     12 Ponds A treasure to Discover

    As you arrive at 12 Ponds, the reflections on the clear water of vivid colors of foliage on the distant hills greets you. The historic nature of the property is felt and calls one to relax on the spacious porch and drift in thought. Accomodating hosts greet you and make you feel at home. Whether you have a cocktail while strolling the grounds, or join the music and dancing in the rustic lounge area, you will find your own magic. A wide selection of farm to table choices, focused on local providers is a gourmet treat. New York vineyards provide tasty selections. Star gazing around the firepit, is perfect to reflect on the happiness of the day. You are already planning your return to 12 Ponds.

    Peaceful Retreat!

    Love Twelve Ponds! From our first conversation, the team made us feel heard and supported throughout the planning process. Their upbeat and friendly approach to every question made the experience of planning and hosting feel less stressful and more enjoyable. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, with a peaceful atmosphere that made everyone feel instantly welcome. We'd love to host something there again and would recommend them to any couple looking for a truly memorable venue.

    Twelve Ponds

    Twelve Ponds feels like a world of its own. You drive in past the ponds and open fields, and then the restored farmhouse and barn come into view. Every part of the property looks different depending on the light. Morning mist over the water and golden hour behind the barn were our favorite moments of the whole weekend. What a spectacular place!
