Founded in 2012, West Sixth Brewing is located in a 100 year old building called the Bread Box, historically used for the Rainbo Bread Factory, in Lexington, Kentucky. We brew, can and bottle our beer out of this location We pride ourselves on the craft beer we make and having a positive impact on the communities we're a part of. The Barrel Room is our private event space in the brewery that we use to store all of our barrels of wild and sour aged beers. It is a casual space, with tile floor, and walls, with seating for up to 75 people. Although it is unconditioned, usually is very comfortable in the winter. In the summer, however, it can get hot! But if you want an easy place to host a party, with the atmosphere of the brewery, that's the place to do it. This room is equipped with a private bar.

The Barrel Room

If you want an easy place to host a party, with the atmosphere of the brewery, that's the place to do it.

West Sixth Brewing's NuLu location was the perfect fit for our wedding day. Morgan kept us in the loop throughout the entire planning process, which made everything feel less stressful. The space itself was ideal for the size of our guest list and the price was fair with no surprise fees. What really stood out was how kind and laid back Morgan and the staff were—they made us feel comfortable and took care of all the details so we could just enjoy the day. The entire team was helpful from start to finish, and our guests loved the cool, industrial vibe of the brewery. We'd recommend West Sixth to any couple looking for a solid venue with genuine people behind it.

Great space for our wedding welcome party!
We hosted our wedding welcome party at West Sixth and it was the perfect space! The booking process was very easy and West Sixth was really flexible with our set-up/decorating ideas. Our guests had a great time!
