Photographer and Filmmaker

JP Collection creates cinematic wedding films for couples who want their day remembered with emotion, elegance, and intention. Based in Fairfax, Virginia, we serve weddings across Northern Virginia, Washington DC, Maryland, and destination locations. Our style blends documentary storytelling with cinematic editing — capturing the real moments of your wedding day as they happen. The quiet anticipation. The way your partner looks at you. We work closely with every couple from inquiry through final delivery to make sure your film reflects the actual feeling of your wedding day — not a staged version of it. From intimate elopements to full wedding weekends, our goal is a film that feels honest, beautiful, and deeply personal. JP Collection is led by Jimmy Pham, a full-time wedding filmmaker dedicated to the craft since 2020. Our team includes associate filmmakers for multi-camera coverage and larger weddings.

    The Best Decision for Our Elopement!

    We booked our elopement photography session with Jimmy from JP Collection Photography, and it was truly one of the best decisions we made! Jimmy is incredibly talented, professional, respectful, and reliable. He went above and beyond to make our shoot special and made the entire experience feel so easy and comfortable. We had booked a sunrise session at the Jefferson Memorial, and Jimmy was there right on time and completely prepared. He captured the morning beautifully, and both the photos and videos turned out exactly how we had imagined. He also delivered everything right on time, which we really appreciated. We are so happy with how everything turned out and couldn’t have asked for a better photographer to capture such a special moment for us.     Jimmy's photographer Jason did a great job at our wedding. We were specific about wanting a photographer who could capture a natural, fly-on-the-wall kind of style, and Jason got all the pictures we could've wanted without being too intrusive. He and Jimmy were friendly, professional and easy to work with.

    Engagement Shoot

    Jimmy was able to capture our special moment! I had the idea to propose to my fiancé on a hot air ballon ride. This involved an extremely early day as the flight was set to happen at sunrise. Jimmy made the early morning drive to the launch site, came fully prepared, and even when the weather forced us to drive another hour to make the flight happen; Jimmy just adapted to the situation. Leading up to the proposal, Jimmy and I stayed in constant contact. He was very easy to reach and very responsive. He was extremely professional leading up to the engagement, during the engagement shoot, and afterwards as well. He provided the photos and video ahead of the timeline that was agreed upon in the contract. The photos turned out amazing! I really enjoyed working with Jimmy and the results of the shoot! I would not hesitate to recommend Jimmy to my family and friends.

Our base videography package includes 5 hours of continuous coverage with one videographer and a 3–4 minute cinematic highlight film with a music overlay. All packages can be customized based on your coverage needs, timeline, and whether you want to add a second videographer, drone footage, a full documentary edit, or a social media reel.
The highlight film is a 3–4 minute cinematic cut of your wedding day set to music — artistically edited to evoke emotion and tell the story of your day beautifully. The documentary edit is a long-form, chronological recording of your full ceremony, speeches, and key moments with minimal artistic alteration. Many couples choose both so they have a cinematic film to share and a complete archive to revisit.
Teaser films (1 minute) are delivered within 2 weeks of your wedding. Full highlight films and documentary edits have a standard delivery window that we confirm at booking. We provide updates throughout the editing process.
Yes, we offer aerial drone coverage as an add-on for weddings where drone flight is permitted. We offer both a basic and a pro drone package depending on the coverage you need.
Yes. We offer a TikTok/Instagram Reels add-on that delivers 2 customized vertical video assets (30–45 seconds each) within 2 weeks of your wedding day — perfect for sharing highlights on social media right after your wedding.
JP Collection is based in Fairfax, Virginia and serves the full DMV area — Northern Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland. There is no travel fee for weddings within 50 miles of our location. Beyond that, we are happy to travel and will provide a travel quote based on your venue.
Reach out through our inquiry form or contact us directly with your wedding date, venue, and what services you are interested in. We will confirm availability and send over our packages. To secure your date, we require a 50% deposit upfront, with the remaining 50% due one month before your wedding.
Absolutely. All packages are flexible. We can adjust coverage hours, add a second videographer, include drone footage, add a documentary edit, or build a combined photo and video package. Tell us what matters most to you and we will build the right coverage for your day.
