Enea and Hayley are truly exceptional. From our engagement shoot to the big day, they went above and beyond to capture every moment with heart, artistry, and professionalism. Enea photographed our wedding while Hayley worked her magic on video—and together, they delivered memories we will treasure forever. Our photos are absolutely stunning, and the video trailer full ceremony edit brought us to tears (in the best way!). They took the time to get to know us, making everything feel personal and natural. Not only are they incredibly talented and creative, but they’re also fun, dependable, and a joy to be around. They brought a calming energy, kept things on schedule, and even added a drone to the mix—giving us breathtaking aerial shots we didn’t even know we needed! They both have such a natural eye for detail and storytelling. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Truly, we cannot recommend Enea and Hayley enough. If you’re lucky enough to have the chance to work with them, do it. You’ll be so glad you did.

Loes Takes Clips
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $1,000
  • Serves Alamo, CA

I'm a photographer who loves, love and being able to share that through my lens is what drives everything I do. I have a deep adoration for storytelling and capturing the authentic, unscripted moments that matter most. I believe every love story is unique, and my goal is to bring excitement, ease, and a calming presence to your most important day. With a passion for preserving real emotions and meaningful memories, I aim to capture photographs that you'll cherish for a lifetime.

Logan has been a good friend of mine for years, so asking her to photograph our engagement shoot was a no-brainer for me. Her natural ability to bring any vision to life, mixed with her unwavering work ethic, is what sets her apart. I can tell her one idea I have, and she will effortlessly create something better than I could have ever imagined. We have a 1965 Corvette in our family that I thought would be cool to use as part of our shoot. I trusted her to tell us where and how we could incorporate it, and she brought our vision to life. She goes above and beyond, even standing in the middle of the road in Carmel-by-the-Sea as cars try to pass, to bring that vision to life. Also, we are far from naturals in front of the camera. I always rely on Logan to give us ideas for how to create movement and relax. Working with someone so kind and able to make you feel comfortable is crucial, because it not only creates an outcome you will love, but you will have fun doing so as well.

We hired Vic for our wedding photography, and she was amazing to work with from start until finish. She was mindful of what we were hoping for, and went above and beyond to make our day seamless while capturing the moments most important to us. We truly appreciated her communication and timeliness throughout the planning process and especially on our wedding day. We opted for her package that includes an engagement shoot—which we highly recommend—it was a great opportunity to get more comfortable in front of a camera (which my husband and I are not typically used to) and we love those photos too. She sent the initial portfolio to us quickly after our wedding, and then edited them beautifully. We couldn’t have asked for more, and will cherish the memories she captured forever.

Naian Photography was wonderful to work with for our wedding day. Their communication style was so good - the photographer, Naian, was great at responding to our questions and making sure we were on the same page throughout the planning process. The quality of their work and value was also excellent. Naian clearly values her time as well as ours, which was greatly appreciated. She captured all the important moments we wanted documented from our special day. In fact, Naian even let us know when we were running a bit behind schedule, so she made sure to get everything we wanted photographed before she left. We were so happy with the beautiful photos Naian took that perfectly captured the joy and love of our wedding.

I'm Vanessa — Bay Area born and raised, obsessed with capturing the moments that matter most. When I'm not behind the camera you'll find me testing new recipes, catching up with friends over a dirty martini, or cruising with country music turned all the way up. What I love most isn't the perfectly posed portraits — it's the in-between moments. The way your person looks at you when they think no one's watching. The grandfather wiping a tear during the first dance. I specialize in wine country weddings throughout Livermore, Napa, and Sonoma — images that feel effortless and completely yours.

We are so happy we had the opportunity to have Vanessa capture our special day! The quality of her work is exceptional, with beautiful colors and candid moments filled with love. Vanessa constantly checked in to make sure we got the shots we wanted, and went above and beyond to focus on capturing the special interactions between our family and friends. We couldn't be happier with the final photos - they truly helped make our special day even more memorable.

Weddings by Katherine Marchand
Rating: 5.0 (24 reviews)
  • Editorial style
  • Serves Alamo, CA

I'm Katherine, a wedding photographer based in Oakland, CA. With over a decade of experience and features in Vogue, Brides, The New York Times, and more, I know how to create wedding photos that don’t just look stunning — they feel like you. No trendy filters, no forced poses, just authentic moments that reflect who you are. I believe the best moments aren’t staged. They unfold naturally, in the quiet glances, the belly laughs, and those unspoken connections shared with your loved ones. My goal is to capture those raw, in-between moments that truly make your wedding day yours!

Awarded Best of Zola
Where to even begin! Investing in Katherine to do our wedding photos for our August 2021 wedding was the best decision we made, other than getting married! She had done a friends' wedding so I had started following her on instagram long before my husband and I got engaged. We were planning our wedding back west, and so we started looking at photographers back there but I just couldn't find anyone who measured up to Katherine. Listen--if you want "trendy" photos for instagram with lots of filters, orange skin tones, poses, etc--then Katherine isn't for you. But if you want photos that truly capture your day how it really was, then look no further. I spent years pouring over my parents' and grandparents' wedding albums wanting something that felt that classic and real. And real is exactly what Katherine does. She has this amazing ability to be everywhere and no where all at once. I have been in a lot of weddings, seen a lot of wedding albums, and I have never seen a photographer capture candids as well as she does--the photos feel like screenshots from a movie where we look happy and fabulous all of the time! She truly has a photojournalistic approach. She caught every teary hug, hand squeeze, and glance from across the room. And her ability to make every type of light work to her advantage (harsh mid-day, dark dance floor, etc) is truly incredible. And don't worry--she will also get all of those family photos that your parents want and do it in a painless, seamless way! While we were initially hesitant about the cost of hiring a photographer from NYC to shoot a wedding back west, her prices are MORE than fair for what you are getting! She even did a mini shoot with us the night before to get us comfortable in front of the camera and they are some of my favorite photos from the weekend. Also--she made everyone feel so relaxed and comfortable the day of. My bridesmaids were obsessed with her (I mean how could you not be? She shows up in a gucci suit with effortless cool girl energy and is like "let's do this!"), she managed wrangling our very large wedding party with ease and even got my grandma to smile in photos which is a big deal! We woke up the next day to about 15 sneak peak photos from the night before, and had our entire wedding album in 6 weeks! The hardest part is choosing which photos to print! There are just too many that we love. TLDR: Hire this girl, she is smart as a whip, reliable, talented, and a consummate professional!

My wedding was in May and the weather surprised us by dumping buckets of rain during the ceremony. Thomas was so helpful with all of his direction and suggestions for the ceremony. He was able to keep his cool and roll with the punches on our very crazy day. Our Photos are absolutely stunning! I honestly can't say enough good things about him. He took so many photos and his editing is wonderful. He also did our engagement photos all the way in Yosemite. He not only drove 3 hours one way for the engagement shoot but also drove an obscene amount of hours for our wedding. He put in so much work and I can't thank him enough.

Shawna GD Photography
Rating: 5.0 (16 reviews)
·Ratings include Zola and Google reviews
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $2,200
  • Serves Alamo, CA

I photograph intimate weddings and elopements with intention, emotion, and a little bit of edge. My approach is simple: your photos should feel like you. Real, raw and timeless, not stiff or performative. I'm here to catch the unplanned magic and the editorial moments that make your story look and feel as fabulous as you do.

I had the absolute privilege of having Shawna capture my engagement photos, and later, serve as my second shooter on my wedding day. I say “privilege” because I still can’t believe someone so kind, genuine, and sweet truly exists. When I first met Shawna and her husband Patrick for our engagement session, they made the entire experience so easy and fun, even though my husband and I are far from comfortable in front of a camera. They made the session completely about us, helping us feel relaxed and natural. The moment we finished, I knew there was no way I could imagine my wedding day without Shawna being a part of it. At the wedding, Shawna seamlessly collaborated with my main photographer. She was professional, detail-oriented, and fully committed to making sure our day was as perfect as it could be. But Shawna went beyond just photography, she truly got to know us as a couple, took the time to learn what mattered to us, and poured her passion not only into her work but into us as clients. On my wedding morning, I was having a really difficult time, but the second Shawna arrived, her smile and calming presence gave me comfort I can’t even put into words. She immediately asked, “How can I help?”… and she meant it. She jumped right in, kept me grounded, and reminded me to enjoy the moment. I will never regret choosing Shawna for my photos. Not only did I gain beautiful memories captured forever, but I also feel like I’ve gained a friend for life.

I’m Adam Clark, a Livermore-based photographer capturing weddings with authenticity and heart. We were blown away by Adam! We truly felt he went above and beyond for our wedding. I could go on and on but the whole process from start to finish was seamless and Adam’s years of experience were very apparent. From the creative direction he offered while posing us/our wedding party to the candid moments captured, you’d never believe he shot our wedding single-handedly. Adam’s hilarious and kept the mood light which was a huge plus. Amazingly, he had all our photos returned to us within 48 hours of the wedding and they were stunning. Can’t recommend him more!

I’m Cherlyn (rhymes with Berlin). So nice to e-meet you! If we met in person and it wasn’t during a pandemic- I would probably hug you! I’m an introvert-extrovert and tend to ramble too much when I get nervous. In emails - I tend to use exclamation points a lot!! (and will agonize over my drafts of emails before sending them because they probably have one too many!!) My aim as your photographer is to provide a memorable experience where you two feel comfortable, taken care of, and get to fully enjoy your wedding day as much as possible with all your guests & loved ones - whether they be in real life or via livestream!

Awarded Best of Zola
Cherlyn captured our elopement in November 2024 at Timber Cove Inn. Since this was a second wedding for both of us, and was very small (just us and our kids) we wanted to keep things simple, focusing on the beauty of the landscape with a simple, sweet ceremony. Cherlyn absolutely nailed it - she captured the vibe we were going for perfectly and the photos are absolutely stunning! I could not be happier with the photos and the experience as a whole. She made us so comfortable and that led to great photos where we look at ease, which is just how we felt.

I believe love is love and happily photograph couples of all backgrounds, orientations, religions and gender expressions. I aim to create authentic and emotive images for my clients and edit true to color so the work will be timeless. My personality is friendly and warm, which helps make my couples feel at ease and open up in front of the camera. I donate $100 from every wedding day package to a non profit organization (either the ACLU, End the Backlog or the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation) because I believe paying it forward in honor of love is an excellent first step into marriage.

Awarded Best of Zola
Jenna was recommended to us by another photographer and it was such a pleasure to work with her! We greatly appreciated how much she wanted to know us and our personalities in advance of our wedding day. We ended every zoom call or email exchange feeling confident in our decision to work with her. The weather on our wedding day wasn’t very cooperative, but Jenna and team were on the lookout for any break in the rain so that we could go up to the roof and get a few pictures. And she totally nailed them—they are some of our favorite pictures from the day. Jenna and team made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera and also captured some incredible candids. If you’re looking for a fun, positive, and easy-to-work with photographer—Jenna is the right pick!

Hey, I'm Marisa! I work with couples to help capture their dream wedding day! Most days you can find me drinking coffee in front of my computer editing the day away. If I’m not home in the SF Bay Area, I’m most likely in the Sierras or at a session off the grid. In my free time you can find me drinking wine with friends, maybe on a run, laying around with my dog, near a lake or finding the best tacos.

We could not imagine working with any other photographer for our wedding! From our first video meeting to touch base, to our engagement shoot, and ultimately our wedding day, Marisa collaborated with us and other vendors with so much grace and a great sense of humor. I'm Hannah, a full time wedding and portrait photographer in Livermore, California. To me, photography is so much more than just hiring another vendor. And that's why you should choose someone you truly love to work with! I believe the real magic happens during the in-between moments – a secret smile shared by the parents; a tearful hug with the maid of honor; a quirky moment with the best man. These memories are far more precious than any staged photo, and these are the memories I want to capture for you on your big day.

Hannah is a joy to work with. She completely understands that success for a team of wedding vendors is achieved by cooperating as a cohesive group and not as disparate individual vendors doing their own thing. Her friendly and optimistic demeanor motivates us all to perform our very best for our mutual clients. And the photos she takes are full of such life, perfectly capturing the spirit of the day - you almost feel like you were there!

I am an elopement and wedding photographer based in Northern California, who shoots for the fun quirky weirdos who are unabashedly themselves. I capture the perfection that you are while having a laugh and (almost assuredly) crying along while you read your vows. My name is Katelyn and I want to meet you!

Awarded Best of Zola
Katelyn photographed our engagement session and wedding day and I can't recommend her enough. My husband and I are not pros in front of the camera and she put us at ease from the jump. She approaches each session with a calm and collaborative energy that yields relaxed and natural photos. She was able to capture our day so authentically. Not only is she excellent on wedding day but she's responsive and organized leading up to it. She was diligent on creating and executing a shotlist and even added in some family portrait combinations that I missed on the first round. Her thoughtful process makes you feel like a priority and I knew my vision was safe in her hands. Her work is phenomenal and she's an absolute pleasure to work with.

Hi, I’m Hayden! With over 300 weddings captured, I take a journalistic approach to photography, documenting authentic moments as they naturally unfold. I shoot with both film and digital to create timeless, heartfelt images that tell your unique love story. With a go-with-the-flow mentality, I will capture moments as they come and turn them into beautiful memories.

Words cannot explain how fantastic Hayden is! His professionalism, positive attitude, and work blew me away! He took wedding photos for me and my husband. The photographer came recommended by our wedding venue, and everything turned out perfect. Our photography package included 2 locations prior to the ceremony/reception venue. Hayden met us at our house to take photos of us getting ready. I did not prepare a list of specific photos I wanted, but Hayden was prepared. He got all the “standard” photos (getting dressed, getting hair/makeup, etc), giving me direction (which I needed as I can be awkward and camera shy). But he was also so excited to try some different shots based on the set up of our housing. We stepped outside to take first look photos… and it was cold, rainy, and windy. Hayden did not bat at eye! He was such a good sport about being in the horrible weather. Then he met us at another location to take more photos in the cold rain and wind. Finally, we made it to the venue. I loved that some photos were candidate, that I was given direction for some photos, and that I was able to bring some ideas that were executed perfectly! He was flexible and accommodating and willing to take creative photos! The photos came out amazing! I would not change a thing!

I'm a passionate photographer who finds joy in collaborating with creative minds to capture extraordinary moments. By day, I channel my expertise into high-quality construction work, while my artistic pursuits in photography allow me to explore my creativity and connect with others on a profound level.

From start to finish, working with Will was so refreshing. Not only is he incredibly talented, but he also has a truly artistic eye that brings every photo to life. Every single image he delivered was stunning, beautifully composed, full of emotion, and captured with such an authentic feel. What really stood out to us was how effortless and seamless the entire photography process felt. Will has this calm and warm energy that instantly put us (and everyone else) at ease. During the bridesmaids' photoshoot, he created such a fun, relaxed atmosphere - it honestly felt more like hanging out with a friend than posing for pictures! He encouraged us to be ourselves, let loose, and enjoy the moment, and the result was a set of natural, joyful, and candid shots that we’ll cherish forever. It felt like Will was genuinely part of the celebration — laughing with us, hyping us up - you could tell he genuinely loves what he does and was fully present with us in the moment. His enthusiasm was infectious, and it felt like he was celebrating right alongside us, which made the whole experience even more special. He was also incredibly patient and professional throughout the day. Never once did we feel rushed or staged, he took his time to get the right shots while making sure we stayed present and enjoyed the experience. I genuinely cannot recommend Will enough. His talent speaks for itself, but it’s his personality, passion, and dedication that make him truly exceptional. If you’re looking for someone who will not only take beautiful photos but also enhance your wedding day experience, Will is 100% the one. We’d recommend him a million times over!

I am an East Coast transplant wedding photographer based in the SF Bay area. I’m super laid back and kind of a goofball… I like to have fun during my photo sessions to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Jess. We used her for not only our engagement photos & wedding but our pregnancy announcement, maternity photos with both my babies, & newborn photos. I know Zola is a wedding website so I will keep it wedding related. She’s professional & fun. She makes you feel beautiful & comfortable but also makes you feel like she’s not even there. She captures every tiny detail and is true master at finding the perfect lighting. If her photos aren’t a testament to her work just trust me (a complete stranger to you) when I say “book her now!”

My name is Connie and I have been shooting weddings and portraits for over 15years. The goal for me is to give my client an heirloom of their wedding day to pass down to generations to come. As a young kid, I remember staring at my parents black and white wedding photos for a long time. It captivated me. I am very lucky to have those memories and that is what I want for my clients. I love capturing beautiful imagery through posing, beautiful light and when there isn't light, I like to create it. I can be a goof ball capturing the unexpected filled laughter. Come look at my work, and hopefully we can connect.

Connie was so awesome to work with! Leading up to the wedding she was easy to communicate with and always responded to my emails quickly. When my wedding day rolled around she was at the venue on time and got to work. She was patient with everything going on, she had an assistant as well that was great! I told Connie that I was worried about taking pictures because I never considered myself photogenic, she told me not to worry. She did a great job! The pictures turned out beautiful! I love them! Now the hard part is choosing which ones to print.

Hi, I’m Briana! I was born and raised in The Northern Chicago Suburbs, and now reside in The San Fransisco Bay Area. I’ve been behind the camera for over 10 years, capturing everything from everyday moments to life’s biggest milestones. When I’m not photographing, I’m a gymnastics coach, which means I spend a lot of time encouraging little ones, celebrating small wins, and keeping things fun and positive. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me hanging out with my friends, playing with my cats Lana, Levi, and Zoe, checking out a good brewery, or just enjoying my quiet time.

We are beyond thrilled with our engagement photos! Briana was amazing at making us feel comfortable and relaxed, which made for beautiful photos. Every photo was a perfect reflection of our love and personalities. The attention to detail and creativity was outstanding. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out and how she helped our vision become reality. Highly recommend to anyone looking for professional, stunning engagement photos!"
