She regularly checked in with us and made sure we were on schedule for an entire year leading up to our wedding, and I oftentimes forgot she had clients other than us because she was so attentive. Any time there was a problem with a vendor, Gina was swooping in to save the day. She got us upgrades with our hotel and truly had our best interest in mind throughout this entire process. I cannot imagine planning a wedding without her, she was such a huge help. I remember as I was arm and arm with my father, about to walk down the aisle I heard a baby start screaming (despite instructing guests that this was a child-free wedding). “Tahimy was so amazing. We hired her last minute when unfortunately we found out that our venue didn’t come with a day-of-coordinator when we thought it did. So we ended up having to look for one a month and a half before our wedding day. Tahimy stepped in and became more of a month-of-coordinator for us and really took so much stress off of our shoulders. She helped with big things like booking our servers and a coffee caterer. She coordinated with all of our venders and made sure everything would run smooth. She set time aside to answer any questions even late at night when I didn’t expect her to respond until the morning she would text me back. On the day of there was zero stress on me and she worked hard to make sure that if there were any hiccups, I didn’t even notice. “Hiring Ohana and working with Sonya was easily the best decision we made while wedding planning. I was hesitant to hire an outside coordinator because we had a venue coordinator, but the venue coordinator does not do nearly the amount that Ohana does. Hiring Ohana is a NEED. I was first introduced to Danielle and we instantly connected. I felt she understood my vision and wanted to help create our dream wedding. We were lucky enough to be assigned to Sonya for the 90-day coordination package and she was the kindest, most patient, and organized planner. She responded quickly to emails and answered all of my questions, she took over communication with vendors and relieved much of the planning stress, she provided detailed checklists and kept me on track. She also created a detailed by the minute itinerary for the entire weekend for us, our vendors, and a shorthand version for our bridal party which was extremely helpful. “We got married on 08/25/25 in Cancun. Hiring Karen Uscanga as our wedding coordinator/planner was hands-down one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. She is incredibly knowledgeable, unbelievably sweet, and so detail oriented that she was already handling things before I could even put them into words. I truly would not have made it through the planning process or the wedding day itself without her. If you think you don’t need a wedding coordinator or planner, please reconsider. Karen brought so many important details to my attention that I would have never thought of on my own. From coordinating with the DJ on exactly when to start and stop songs for walking down the aisle, to smoothly ushering guests from one part of the event to the next right on time. She had everything under control. Karen made the entire day feel seamless and stress free. I was able to actually enjoy my wedding because I knew she was behind the scenes making sure every single thing was running perfectly.
