Scott was equally communicative & organized. He set up multiple calls throughout the process, and was super flexible with us when we had to change our venue & timeline 3 weeks before the wedding. Carlos made contact with us regularly, walked us through how to use the Vibo app, worked with our venue coordinators at Crystal Ballroom at the Rice (Alexis Kent), worked with our planners at Whimsical Creative (Jen Molina), had a week-of call to finalize details and asked us all the right questions, listened to all our needs, and gave great suggestions for things that made our night special that never would have even occurred to us! “We hired Luxus Vitae for our wedding in April. I would argue that your DJ is one of your most important vendors, so it's so important to pick the right one! Jason and Scott are masters of their crafts. Starting from the kickoff calls, Jason made us feel so comfortable and heard. We knew that we could trust Luxus Vitae with the vibe that we were aiming for. Their intake process was super easy, and they were so patient as we were making song decisions. They helped us out so much along the way!! The actual wedding day was absolutely seamless. They truly enhanced the day, always bringing the right vibe at the right moments! We had specific requests/vibes for each portion of the night, and they fully understood and executed perfectly. One of the highlights of the day was the sneak peek at the reception area, prior to the ceremony. Jason and Scott (unprompted) played the perfect song to fit the moment, even without notice. Having them there to put music to such a huge moment truly created a core memory for us! Jason had the mic during the night, and was such a great MC and DJ. Davey is a true professional and seemed to do everything with ease. During the actual ceremony he MC'd throughout the night, i.e. introducing the officiant, providing a segue-way to the toast, and politely directing our guests to dessert. He did so in an easy yet confident tone that was completely cringe-free. Musically, we were so happy with what Davey played. We requested a mix of well-known party-starters but noting too basic or over-played. He came with sophisticated remixes of old faves and served up some great 90's throwbacks as well. He then transitioned toward more contemporary dance music territory which setup our headlining DJ perfectly. Davey is anything but a basic wedding DJ with lame tunes and a cheap tux.
