“Jeanyo Entertainment couldn't have been more perfect for our wedding! To start off the communication from the beginning of booking until the day of the wedding was responsive. Jeanyo was attentive our music taste and really wanted as much input from us as possible. We knew Jeanyo was going to take his duties seriously when he scheduled a zoom meeting between us and the wedding planner. He really used this time to pick our ear music wise, get our "Do Not Play List", and get our "Must Play List". The equipment the Jeanyo used was top notch. The audio was loud and clear for the outdoor ceremony. The timing of the songs that we selected to play for the bridal party, groom, and bride was seamless. We really appreciated the fact that he was able to incorporate specific audio files that we personally sent him. Where Jeanyo really shined was the reception!!! Since the music started and dinner was served, the dance floor was never empty the entire night. A lot of my guest came up to me saying "that was the most fun wedding I've ever been to!" We owe a big part these reactions to Jeanyo. Jeanyo not only perfectly incorporated our playlist into the reception, but his MC skills was on point. Hyping the crowd up, giving instructions on specific songs, announcements without interrupting the vibe were some of the MC skills he exhibited. Despite it being a reception he really gave it that high end club like feeling. The Mix of the music really united the diverse crowd, but really had people out of their seats when he tapped into the south Florida/Haitian Music. I still remember when Jeanyo got on the mic and said "Alright everybody we have 30 Minutes left". I genuinely couldn't believe how fast time was flying because we were having too much fun. We were recommended to Jeanyo by a friend of ours who had him for their wedding, and we are lucky to have gotten that recommendation. 5 out of 5 stars from the wife and I. “Hiring DJ Benni as our wedding DJ was the best decision we made for our wedding! Benni was a game-changer for our special day! From the first consultation to monthly check-in’s, it was clear we were in expert hands. We shared our vision and DJ Benni shared his thoughts based on the weddings he has DJ for, and he saved us on making some big mistakes as we are new to this. His professionalism and attention to detail were impeccable. Benni let us customize as much or as little as we wanted and would constantly encourage us to do what we want and not cave to “wedding norms”. We ended up having a classical version of Lord of the Rings as the processional and Top Gun Theme song as the recessional, our dog was our flower girl, and DJ Benni rocked every step of the way! We had a tool to help us build out the timeline/flow of our wedding from start to finish. This allowed our DJ to know exactly what to do, and when. And in the case of an emergency if our DJ couldn’t make it, a sub could step in and execute. Which allowed me (bride) and the groom to enjoy the evening and not think about logistics. DJ Benni was also very flexible and easily adjusted on the fly for a few things too. The dance floor was always full, and DJ Benni played banger after banger! He asked us to create and share a playlist with songs we wanted played, the more the merrier, and to note our top ten “must play” songs. From there, he was able to understand the vibe we wanted, and he found songs that we didn’t think of that were major hits! My shy 10-year-old cousin was dancing and having the time of his life, and DJ Benni gave him his contact info and told him to call if he ever wanted to DJ. My cousin was over the moon and had the time of his life. DJ Benni also skillfully read the room, adjusting the music to keep the energy high throughout the night. The sound quality was top-notch, and the equipment setup was sleek and unobtrusive. They also provided excellent MC services, making smooth transitions between ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, speeches, and dancing. His enthusiasm and charisma added an extra layer of excitement, making our wedding reception unforgettable. We received numerous compliments from our guests about the fantastic music and vibrant atmosphere. If you want a memorable wedding celebration, hiring DJ Benni is a must!”

“Dan was absolutely amazing as the DJ for our wedding at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in 2026! He struck such a great balance between being organized, professional, and genuinely fun to work with. From the beginning, we felt confident that he understood the kind of night we wanted. Our music taste was all over the map — traditional Chinese music, ’90s emo, K-pop, country, and classic wedding dance floor staples — and Dan somehow made it all feel cohesive. He took our requests seriously, read the room beautifully, and kept the dance floor packed right up until the end of the night. He was also an excellent MC and audio professional. He helped us with some custom audio requests during the ceremony, we had no issues with mics or sound at all (I was worried) and during the reception, he kept the timeline moving, made announcements at the right moments, communicated well with our planner, and brought the perfect amount of energy without taking over the spotlight. As a stressed out, perfectionist bride, I had no worries with Dan. We could not have asked for a better DJ!”

“Summit Events was the perfect choice for our wedding entertainment! Having a fun dance floor and awesome music has been something that I have dreamed about forever. I was nervous to find the right fit and was so relieved to have found Summit Events. From the beginning, we ended up working with the DJ who would perform the night of. Chris Funkhouser (who seriously brought the funk!) was amazing to work with! During our consultations he was able to answer all our questions and concerns. He was able to put his swing on things from his experience to help provide the right vibes we were looking for. We pretty much already knew all the songs that we wanted to play so the program they used was perfect! It was detailed in the timing of the night, how long or short to play songs and any other special requests we wanted to have. On the night of the wedding, Chris was a blast -energetic, observant, and focused on keeping the dance floor alive all night long. He even joined us out there, helping to keep the party going strong! He was able to use his best judgement in placing some of the lighting and monogram details we chose which turned out great! “Have about 200 people showing up to your reception and want to guarantee that everyone from your aunts and uncles to your most particular friend all send you texts about how perfect your wedding band was? Great, you're done with your search. We worked with The Hook Club on an ambitious two-day wedding, which included them doing live sound for our Friday welcome party, live sound for the music at our ceremony, some deep cut requests, and our desire to not just have "another wedding band." What we got was an incredibly talented, creative, and kind group of people who were ready to make whatever we wanted happen, ready to add ideas and layers, and who then completely blew away our expectations. We're in that era of our lives where we've been to about 100 weddings in the last 10 years, and we can honestly say that no band has even come close to The Hook Club. A year later everyone is still talking about how great our band was. They are true professionals in every sense of the word, and you should seriously consider booking your venue around whether or not THC is available. That's not hyperbole - they were that good.”
