The Ryland was the first place we toured when we were looking at wedding venues, and nowhere else came close to comparing. Giana walked us through the entire wedding planning process and was essential to making the day so perfect. “There is nothing but wonderful things to say about Mama's catering services. We used Mama's catering for our wedding in September 2026. From the beginning, communication and planning with Sheri was seamless and quick. We were able to completely customize the menu to our liking including cocktail hour appetizers, dinner, and desserts. Sheri is incredibly kind and helpful in her communications and has many years of customer service and planning experience. Sheri and Tom were nothing but kind, generous and thoughtful throughout our planning process. Sheri even contacted my venue to talk to the coordinator to make sure the day of and catering would go smoothly. The day of catering team lead by Corynna could not have been more wonderful. The cocktail hour food was delicious, hot, and it was passed around abundantly and efficiently to the guests. The many butlers and large catering team were incredibly thorough, thoughtful, and attentive when serving food during cocktail hour and dinner. We were blessed with a dedicated server for just the bride and groom, and we were served our own appetizer plate and dinner plates and were able to enjoy our delicious food during a chaotic day. The dinner food was served hot and generously to all guests with many chosing to go up for seconds! We had an endless amount of our guests comment on our delicious food, with many commenting especially on how delicious the pear purses are (my personal favorite). There was also a dedicated server to just the 2 Gluten Free guests, who were served their own meals. Mama's also was able to provide us with a late night pizza service that guests also enjoyed. Corynna communicated seamlessly with all of the other vendors including the bartenders and DJ. All of the servers were incredibly present the day of and could not have been more perfect. They were constantly checking in, making sure we had everything we needed, and paying attention to the little details so that we didn’t have to worry about anything. Their thoughtfulness went far beyond simply serving the food. They genuinely cared about making sure our day went smoothly and that we, our families, and our guests were taken care of. We would absolutely recommend Mama's team to anyone looking for a catering team that genuinely cares about their couples and their guests!”

“The Silo was a dream wedding venue! The high ceilings, gorgeous chandeliers, and amazing backlighting led to wonderful pictures. We had several guests comment on how beautiful the venue was. We utilized floating candles for our centerpieces which played amazingly with the added candles provided by the Farmhouse. The staff was attentive, helpful, and communicative. They paid attention to detail and were always available to put our minds at ease. We also rented the bridal suite and groom’s suite. Both suites were spacious, filled with entertainment, and included private bathrooms and mini fridges. There was plenty of space for my hair and makeup team.. We all had a wonderful time getting ready for the wedding. The food and chef were absolutely incredible. We were able to completely customize the menu by adding things like garlic mashed potatoes and chicken francese. What really stood out is that it felt like we were giving our guests a high end restaurant meal, rather than cookie cutter wedding food.”

“I don't even know where to begin — our June 13th, 2025 wedding at the Olde Mill Inn was truly everything we dreamed of and more. From the moment we arrived to the final sendoff, it felt like we had stepped straight into a Hallmark movie. The Setting We used both the Grain House and the Grand Ballroom, and each space had its own charm. Our ceremony took place in the courtyard, and it was absolutely magical — the gardens, the stone walls, the romantic ambiance... it all felt timeless and intimate. We had about 100 guests, and everyone kept commenting on how beautiful and well-thought-out everything was. The Team Lea and John were nothing short of amazing. Lea was with us every step of the way through the planning process, answering all our questions (and calming my nerves more than once). John, our maître d’, was a dream on the day of — he made sure we were always taken care of, that everything ran smoothly, and that we actually got to eat during cocktail hour and dinner (which so many brides don’t!). The Experience It’s honestly hard to pick one thing I loved most because everything — the service, the food, the atmosphere, the convenience of having our guests stay on-site — was perfect. The staff made us feel like royalty, but also like family. Every detail felt intentional and personalized. It wasn’t just a wedding; it was an experience. A Moment I’ll Never Forget There was a quiet moment after the ceremony, before heading to cocktail hour, when John pulled us aside, gave us a glass of champagne, and let us soak it all in — just the two of us. That pause, in the middle of such a whirlwind day, meant the world. Final Thoughts If you're considering the Olde Mill Inn for your wedding, don’t hesitate. The entire day felt like it was lifted from a movie set, but it was our movie — beautiful, heartfelt, and joy-filled. We’ll forever be grateful to Lea, John, and the entire team for giving us the best day of our lives. Forever grateful, Danielle and James”

My guests felt so taken care of and absolutely loved the grounds, the food, the service and the lodging. Kate and John were an absolute pleasure to work with and really went above and beyond to help make our big day memorable. Andrea’s service at the rehearsal dinner was unmatched! We tattooed each other at the alter and had greek dancers preform after dinner; John immediately asked what we needed so he could get it done. Our ceremony got rained out and John made our back up plan seem like it’s what we wanted in the first place. Truly couldn’t recommend a better place to celebrate at!”

“The Whistling Swan Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding weekend. From the moment we began communicating with the inn, we were impressed by their extremely thorough, timely, and attentive approach. This beautiful historic home became our home for the weekend, providing the perfect space for an intimate gathering of close family and friends for pre- and post-wedding activities. We reserved all ten rooms for our guests aged 1 through 85! The inn also recommended a superb catering service for our rehearsal dinner, and our guests enjoyed a delicious meal the evening before the main event. “My husband and I chose this as our wedding venue. Some months before our wedding they had implemented a team of women to help with any questions and planning. These ladies were extremely helpful with answering questions and were typically quick to respond. The day before our wedding, we went to set up the tables and decorations I had made. The inn keeper Tricia was super kind and let me feel like I had a full run of the venue to do whatever I had envisioned. She basically told me I could do whatever I needed, and if I needed extra hands for help to let her know and she would get me help. The day of the wedding was very hot, and there was an unfortunate breakdown of the AC in our getting ready room and suite for the night. They placed us in the next Best room for the night and got us in a cooler space for getting ready. Even with that, if I had to do the wedding all over again, I wouldn’t have changed a thing. I am so grateful to the team working with me leading up to the wedding day as well as everybody involved to make our wedding day so special. If you choose this place as your wedding venue, I feel as though you will not be disappointed, even when things go wrong.”

Their communication was consistently responsive and flexible as we made changes to details in the weeks leading up to the big day. The venue itself is big, new and very comfortable - perfect for accommodating our large guest list. “There aren't enough words to describe what a perfect day Anah and her team created for our wedding. It was more perfect than we ever could have conceived of ourselves. We booked during a transition period for Anah and her business, so sometimes there were some lapses in communication and some crossed wires, but when it came to the wedding weekend, everything was absolutely perfect. (Maybe I'm overusing that word, but it doesn't feel possible). Anah is so warm, funny, personable, and made us feel like we were the most important couple in the world on our wedding day - and also extremely safe and welcome as a queer couple. Every detail was thoughtful and lovely. We used what she grows for our flowers, and she put together a bouquet for me on the morning of the wedding that matched perfectly with accessories she hadn't even seen yet. It's possible she's a little bit psychic. Thank you, thank you, thank you Anah and team for our perfect day. I wish we could do it all over again!”

“Bear with me because this is a long review but it is well deserved! Mainline hosted my wedding on 8/23/25. Let me start by saying that the owner Bill saved my wedding. We had already picked another venue in February and they just stopped responding to us so we had to go looking for another one in October. We had a very meager budget and we knew that finding a venue in NJ within that budget would be an almost impossible feat. But Bill worked with us and gave us everything we could have ever asked for and more. Dani, their general manager who joined after we booked, was AMAZING. She was on top of the event the whole night, both Bill and Dani checked in with us through the entire wedding, making sure we had eaten or that we always had a drink on hand. The pavilion was beautiful, the food was incredible, the staff was amazing, the entire thing was flawless. As a bride, I cannot imagine having a better experience, there is no other venue in this entire state that I would have trusted more than Mainline. I will continue to sing their praises from the rooftops because they deserve it. They worked seamlessly with all of my vendors. If you are looking for a place to host your wedding, or any other important event for that matter, choose mainline. They will not disappoint you. I will be forever grateful for the hard work and support that Dani and Bill put into our wedding and I will definitely be returning for whatever other events I have in the future because they are just that fantastic. Thank you so much Mainline, for giving us the wedding of our dreams!!”

Why Choose New Jersey for Your Wedding Day?

New Jersey gives you four distinct regions with unique wedding settings and styles to match any vision. September tops the charts for wedding inquiries here, so you'll want to plan ahead if you're eyeing a date during peak season. The varied landscapes mean you can find everything from waterfront elegance to historic charm without traveling far.

What Types of Wedding Venues Can You Find in New Jersey?

Modern couples gravitate toward industrial spaces such as The Art Factory in Paterson where contemporary design meets character and uniqueness.
