Good food, good drink, good company; bringing the most important people in our lives together to celebrate our relationship and really understand us as a couple. That’s a big ask for a wedding. We trusted Amy to help us get the job done and she absolutely delivered. We booked her partial planning option. Our initial meetings with her, and all of the advice and tools she provided helped us navigate the process very cleanly. We always felt like we could reliably get our questions answered. More important though, she helped us understand what questions we should be asking in the first place, what was important, what was a priority, and what wasn’t. From there, meeting with her virtually and in person at our venue she was ON IT. She was a sponge for information: soaking up every idea, question, or anxiety, and addressing each with her deep experience and expertise. We went into our day confident in the plan we put together, and with an understanding of how things were being executed. That understanding did not prepare us for how blown away we would be by the quality of the job she and her team did on the day and in the lead up to it. Everything with our vendors was perfectly coordinated. Everything with the venue totally taken care of. We were providing a lot of the decor ourselves and her team picked up on and understood exactly what we were going for and assembled everything just as we planned it without any additional communication. They also seamlessly smoothed out and filled in any rough edges in our overall plan for the day, with little details we hadn’t considered identified and taken care of in thoughtful ways. If any small issues or problems popped up they were immediately handled with professionalism and grace. On top of that, Amy went above and beyond to make us and our guests feel special. “I found Elyse & Co Events through the bridal shop I purchased my dress from. Jordyn was my bridal consultant and helped me fine THE dress. Just from my experience with her attention to detail and awesome personality, I knew I wanted her to be our wedding coordinator. She was so helpful and great and communicating. She helped us so much and made my DIY decor come out even better than I imagine. She truly has an eye for all of this. She even held our dog (ring bearer) before and after he went down the aisle. She did such an awesome job, first on site at the venue and last to leave. She ran out rehearsal and had so many ideas while also being so accommodating to our wishes. “Bradie is an absolutely incredible wedding coordinator! I had not even hired her yet and she was helping me find vendors (who we also hired). Even our photographer, who had never worked with Bradie before, said she was the best he had ever had the pleasure of working with. Bradie works with you early to make sure you are on track and helps with any questions that come up. As the wedding got closer, Bradie took on communicating and organizing with my other vendors. Any bump in the plan that came up, she was on it to make sure it was resolved. If any detail was stressing me out, Bradie, took it on no problem. She was usually already working on it by the time I asked. The day of coordination was flawless. I didn't really have to think of a thing, I just got to have fun and enjoy the big day. I cannot thank her enough for catching some wedding crashers and not allowing them to be part of our photobooth guestbook. I love that our guests were able to make a small video for us with their well wishes during cocktail hour and then turning everyone's pictures into another guestbook. Haley and Maegan were literal godsends on our wedding day and during the planning process. Her attention to detail and experience as a planner helped to make our day-of timeline so smooth. The day of she was SO incredibly helpful with our setup, flowers, and making our vision of the venue come to life. Shawna and Anella were also there to assist the day of our wedding and were wonderful to work with and made everything run so smoothly. We also had our bartender service through Daydream Events and they were fantastic! They premade our signature cocktails so we didn’t have a line at the bar and were very attentive to our guests. “I’m not sure I can express in words how grateful I am for Cassandra, but I’ll try. We hired Cassandra to plan our July 2025 wedding at Valhalla in South Lake Tahoe. Aesthetically: I am someone who considers myself somewhat of a creative, but not incredibly organized, and certainly not a planner. For my wedding I had a vision for what some things would look like, and I wanted to design a few things myself (stationery/paper goods/signage), and I had a general aesthetic vision for the wedding but I couldn’t begin to imagine how to plan a whole event. Cassandra met me exactly where I was, rolling with my ideas and filling them out with all the rest of the details perfectly. She has beautiful taste (photos of her past weddings is what initially drew me to her) and all of her ideas were excellent; I had a lot of fun in our planning meetings where she would show me several options for various tablescape components and we could talk through them and choose together. Visually, our wedding was a dream. Organizationally: We did a “partial planning” package, which meant that I was more in charge of hiring vendors in the year leading up to the wedding, and then she took over coordination 6 weeks out. This is the time where things start to get stressful (lots of emails coming in, friends and family all have questions, etc), so it was amazing to have Cass on my team, fielding all the incoming emails and knowing the answer to every single vendor question, and jumping in to help coordinate things for our welcome party (which I had originally said I didn’t need help with). Once the big day arrived, Cassandra was AMAZING. She was so on top of everything. We had a bit of a weather scare (looked like thunderstorms might roll in in the afternoon; our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner were all planned to be outside). It seemed like I should be stressed about this, but Cassandra assured me she had a plan A, B, C, and D, and all her staff prepared to do whatever needed to be done at any moment, so I felt shockingly unworried about the whole thing. (It did rain during our first look (the hour leading up to guest arrival), and was raining when guests arrived; she had had her staff bring a bunch of stuff inside, directed the bar staff to serve welcome drinks inside, and thankfully the rain cleared out quickly and they dried off the furniture moved everything back out to the lawn got everything back on track very quickly.) A bunch of our guests had interactions with Cassandra and couldn’t wait to tell me “your planner seems so great, I really like her!” I was nervous going into wedding planning because I had had many friends have frustrating experiences with wedding planners, but my experience could not have been better. It was a true collaboration, a fun time, and we are forever grateful to Cassandra for making it happen.”
