“I used Duet for my June 2025 wedding and had a wonderful experience with them from start to finish. Everything from our first meeting through the weeks following our wedding day was seamless, and the communication throughout the entire process was clear, timely, and professional. My husband and I are both very easygoing and wanted to work with a company that understood our vision, could take charge when needed, but also wouldn’t overwhelm us or constantly pull us away from our celebration for photo opportunities. Duet delivered exactly that. The pre-wedding questionnaire was extremely detailed and was very helpful in making sure we had conversations about our timeline, priorities, and expectations ahead of time. On the wedding day, the lead photographer even came over to us at one point with a checklist on his phone to make sure they had captured all of the group shots we requested. Other than that, they gave us space to enjoy our wedding and worked the room naturally, capturing so many special moments without us even realizing they were there. Once we received our photos and films, Duet was also very receptive to feedback. There were a few photos that had been edited in black and white that I preferred in color, and they were happy to make those changes for me. I did express some disappointment with the length of my edited reception film. I understand that the film is an edited snapshot of the day, but I felt that it was significantly shorter than the average range that had been discussed with us during our prior meetings. That said, Duet listened to my concerns and worked with me to lengthen the film to include specific moments that I requested, which I really appreciated. One thing to keep in mind: make sure you complete your wedding album within one year of your wedding date, as there is a small additional fee if you go beyond that timeframe. Overall, Duet was an amazing company to work with. The entire process was smooth, the communication was excellent, and most importantly, we felt like we could truly enjoy our wedding day while knowing our memories were being captured beautifully. I would absolutely recommend Duet to other couples looking for a photography and videography team!”

“When we were planning our elopement style wedding day, we were certain we wanted to hire a photographer. However, we were overwhelmed with the confusing packages and high costs until we found Matthew Chambers photography. We highly recommend hiring him for a no-fuss, easy experience. This was our first time hiring a photographer. We liked his simple 3 tiers of service (raw only, partial-service, or full service) and that he charges hourly based on service. The business model just made sense and fit our modest wedding budget. His common-sense pricing made professionally capturing our day accessible. We also liked that he is locally based in Leander and that he has a broad portfolio in case we wanted to re-hire him for future milestones/events. Most of our communication was done electronically via Zola or texting. With our busy schedules, this was preferred to make arrangements. So we met Matthew for the first time on our wedding day! Matthew was delightfully conversational and chatty which made relaxing easier. We loved the mixture of capturing moments “as is” and having him coach us through staged photos. He was very patient with our poor choreography skills. We had more fun with the posed photos than anticipated! Matthew was early to shoot and had a faster than promised turn around on photos. Less than 24 hours for access to raw photos and about 10 days for initially edited photos. While I say this, please note that we had a smaller project and turn around times can vary. The one thing we would do differently is length of booking. My husband and I were CERTAIN 2 hours would be more than enough for our simple nature elopement, but we probably could have booked 3 hours. We got all the shots we agreed upon (and more!), but it was more fun than expected. “The moment” truly goes by quicker than expected. So if you’re unsure, go ahead and book the extra time & savor the moment. Note: we found Matthew via Zola. My bestie recommended that I make a wedding site even though we were eloping. I’m glad I listened! One of the best things out of doing this was the “vendor locator” service on Zola. It connected us to photographers interested in working with us and got us directly messaging them. I read Matthew’s website and just instantly liked him and his work. Thankful he was available for our day! **attached is a sample of a raw vs edited from our day!”

He captured every moment beautifully. We’ve never looked so graceful in our lives. We had our wedding at a campground and he arrived early and worked with us to get pictures of our friends and families in that casual setting in our casual clothes. In these pictures and in the photos of our wedding, he made beautiful use of the scenery. He got to know us as a couple and really understood our vision. He gave detailed directions but the photos still look organic and spontaneous. He was also so kind and accessible through the whole process.
