“I’m so glad we went with Sound Originals for our wedding photos! Both photographers and videographer were awesome. Booking was easy and I love their online portal – they asked all the right questions and made sure everyone was on the same page with the vision for the day. We were able to have a planning call to “meet” our lead photographer, Carly, before the wedding day. I really appreciated that so we could go over some details and feel a little bit more comfortable going into the big day (husband and I are not huge picture people). Carly and team were right on time and I can’t say enough good things about how comfortable they made us feel and how hard they worked to make sure we got every shot that we wanted. It rained on our wedding day so there were some pictures I was disappointed about not getting, but Carly got out her phone and was tracking the weather so we could take advantage of every single break in the rain – even if it was only a couple minutes! We ended up getting every picture that I wanted and I’m so grateful! We got our picture gallery back ahead of what was stated in the contract and it’s everything we hoped for. The color is exactly what we chose (we went with the “Timeless” edit. Despite the rain they managed to capture every location on the property and it looks absolutely beautiful. We had an awesome experience, and I highly recommend them. Thank you for being a part of our favorite day!”

“Duet as a whole was absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish. They were all extremely professional, kind, and helpful every step of the way. On the day of our wedding, they were so easy to work with and knew all of the best spots for pictures at our venue. They captured all of the moments we wanted and more. We got preview pictures while we were still on our honeymoon which were all absolutely perfect, and we were blown away by the full gallery. The pictures were way better than I could have ever hoped for. We also got a highlight video as well as reception and ceremony videos which were so perfectly done. There are genuinely so many amazing photos that we're having trouble picking which ones to frame for our home (our families feel the same way too!). While I don't want to post our faces in the reviews, the attention to detail is really unmatched - as you can see from all the pictures I'm including here. We both highly recommend booking with them, if you're thinking about it just do it - you will not be disappointed!!”

“When we were planning our elopement style wedding day, we were certain we wanted to hire a photographer. However, we were overwhelmed with the confusing packages and high costs until we found Matthew Chambers photography. We highly recommend hiring him for a no-fuss, easy experience. This was our first time hiring a photographer. We liked his simple 3 tiers of service (raw only, partial-service, or full service) and that he charges hourly based on service. The business model just made sense and fit our modest wedding budget. His common-sense pricing made professionally capturing our day accessible. We also liked that he is locally based in Leander and that he has a broad portfolio in case we wanted to re-hire him for future milestones/events. Most of our communication was done electronically via Zola or texting. With our busy schedules, this was preferred to make arrangements. So we met Matthew for the first time on our wedding day! Matthew was delightfully conversational and chatty which made relaxing easier. We loved the mixture of capturing moments “as is” and having him coach us through staged photos. He was very patient with our poor choreography skills. We had more fun with the posed photos than anticipated! Matthew was early to shoot and had a faster than promised turn around on photos. Less than 24 hours for access to raw photos and about 10 days for initially edited photos. While I say this, please note that we had a smaller project and turn around times can vary. The one thing we would do differently is length of booking. My husband and I were CERTAIN 2 hours would be more than enough for our simple nature elopement, but we probably could have booked 3 hours. We got all the shots we agreed upon (and more!), but it was more fun than expected. “The moment” truly goes by quicker than expected. So if you’re unsure, go ahead and book the extra time & savor the moment. Note: we found Matthew via Zola. My bestie recommended that I make a wedding site even though we were eloping. I’m glad I listened! One of the best things out of doing this was the “vendor locator” service on Zola. It connected us to photographers interested in working with us and got us directly messaging them. I read Matthew’s website and just instantly liked him and his work. Thankful he was available for our day! **attached is a sample of a raw vs edited from our day!”

“We hired Reflections Media Pennsylvania as our wedding photographer and were very happy with their services. They were great at communication - thoroughly documenting details over email and phone calls leading up to the big day. On the wedding day itself, they jumped right in to capture candid moments as they happened. For example, they photographed all of our guests arriving at the cocktail hour with us. The photos turned out beautifully, really capturing the spirit of our wedding at a fair price. My only minor critique would be that it was hard to pose for some of the more formal shots because the photographer didn't do a countdown before snapping the pic. And unfortunately due to the event timing, we were not able to take as much photos with the family/bridal party as we had wanted in our consultation. I would recommend couples to keep in mind specific shots during the wedding; the wedding day was extremely hectic for us but it would have been nice to have the photographer (us as well) remember our consultation on what shots we were important for us for them to photograph. But overall, I'd recommend Reflections Media to other couples looking to preserve memories of their special day.”
