Morgan was our lead photographer for the wedding and took our engagement photos - I cannot emphasize enough how great he was. Not only did he capture gorgeous photos, but he is also one of the nicest people ever. He literally gave me the shirt off his back during our engagement photos so I could sit on it and not get my white dress dirty. For the wedding, we also had Julio as our second photographer. He shot the groomsmen getting ready and they had so much fun with him - the personality he captured in their photos was amazing. Duet Photography & Video

“11/10. Work with Duet. My wife and I got married in October 2025. We worked with Mike (lead photo), Paul (backup), and Hanel (point person / coordination). We also did an engagement shoot with Mike in NYC's Central Park in May '25. We also opted to have Duet run a photo booth at our wedding (recommend!). We were so lucky to work with Duet for a number of reasons: Communication - from the get-go, it was incredibly easy to work with Duet. Hanel is so on top of things and we were never waiting for an answer, in fact he was most often proactively reminding us of things and helping us think through things like day-of timing. If you haven't yet planned your wedding, responsiveness and trustworthiness in a vendor are huge pros. The photography itself - we consistently love the shots Duet has taken of us and our loved ones. I don't know much about photography, but we love the style, framing, and whatever finishing touches they use. Photos feel highly professional without crossing over into over-touched or too artsy. My wife and I were worried about where we would take photos on the day-of, to the point we were touring around near the venue and greater Brooklyn to find scenic spots. In the end, it rained for much of our wedding day, and we didn't have time to detour anyway - no problem, of course, because Mike and Paul made very ordinary backgrounds look wonderful with their photo magic, and were creative with shooting indoors and under umbrellas to make sure we still got a great first look and pre-wedding shots. Comfortability - we were really comfortable working with Mike. As mentioned, we did a post-engagement shoot in the park, more so to gain familiarity with Mike than for the pictures themselves (though they turned out great!). My wife and I are low key and I know I commonly feel uncomfortable having my photo taken. This was not an issue at all with Duet. Mike knew how to match our vibe and was never pushy - this was huge. Conservative approach - I don't fully understand the mechanics behind it, but my understanding is that Duet backs up every photo they take as it's taken so that there is an extra copy in case of emergency. They also do a lot of self-lighting for shots, which meant that while our venue of course mattered, and looked great anyway, they could have really made anything look nice with their lighting work. Pricing / value - while not the most important consideration, we felt Duet delivered a ton of value at a very reasonable price. Getting married in NYC is never going to be cheap, but we feel like we got the absolute best value for our money.”

“When we were planning our elopement style wedding day, we were certain we wanted to hire a photographer. However, we were overwhelmed with the confusing packages and high costs until we found Matthew Chambers photography. We highly recommend hiring him for a no-fuss, easy experience. This was our first time hiring a photographer. We liked his simple 3 tiers of service (raw only, partial-service, or full service) and that he charges hourly based on service. The business model just made sense and fit our modest wedding budget. His common-sense pricing made professionally capturing our day accessible. We also liked that he is locally based in Leander and that he has a broad portfolio in case we wanted to re-hire him for future milestones/events. Most of our communication was done electronically via Zola or texting. With our busy schedules, this was preferred to make arrangements. So we met Matthew for the first time on our wedding day! Matthew was delightfully conversational and chatty which made relaxing easier. We loved the mixture of capturing moments “as is” and having him coach us through staged photos. He was very patient with our poor choreography skills. We had more fun with the posed photos than anticipated! Matthew was early to shoot and had a faster than promised turn around on photos. Less than 24 hours for access to raw photos and about 10 days for initially edited photos. While I say this, please note that we had a smaller project and turn around times can vary. The one thing we would do differently is length of booking. My husband and I were CERTAIN 2 hours would be more than enough for our simple nature elopement, but we probably could have booked 3 hours. We got all the shots we agreed upon (and more!), but it was more fun than expected. “The moment” truly goes by quicker than expected. So if you’re unsure, go ahead and book the extra time & savor the moment. Note: we found Matthew via Zola. My bestie recommended that I make a wedding site even though we were eloping. I’m glad I listened! One of the best things out of doing this was the “vendor locator” service on Zola. It connected us to photographers interested in working with us and got us directly messaging them. I read Matthew’s website and just instantly liked him and his work. Thankful he was available for our day! **attached is a sample of a raw vs edited from our day!”

The entire process was clearly outlined and flowed smoothly from my initial inquiry all the way through receiving our final photos. Everything felt streamlined and easy to follow, and the turnaround time for our photos was also really quick. Our photographer did such a great job and was really on the ball throughout the wedding day. One thing I especially appreciated was how she handled the location itself. We found out at our rehearsal the night before that there was construction happening on site that we hadn’t been notified about, and I was definitely having a little bit of a wedding-week breakdown over it.
