“We had an amazing experience with Hotel Gettysburg for our wedding reception! From the very beginning, Alaina was wonderful to work with—professional, responsive, patient, organized, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process. She guided us through everything from our tasting and menu selections to linens, room setup, accommodations, and all of the final details. As our plans changed along the way, she was always accommodating and made the process feel manageable. On our wedding day, the ballroom looked beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff provided excellent service to us and our guests. Everything flowed so smoothly that Mike and I were able to relax, celebrate, and truly enjoy our reception. We also loved the convenience of having our reception and guest accommodations in one location, especially for family and friends traveling from out of town. We are so grateful to Alaina and the entire Hotel Gettysburg team for helping make our wedding day so beautiful and memorable. We would absolutely recommend Hotel Gettysburg to other couples!”

“The in house team is incredible - Kasie, Kaitlin and Sarah were responsive to every question we had, providing recommendations and offering up any help needed to bring our vision to life. I love that they went above and beyond and sourced local whiskey for our specialty cocktail! Their enormous storage closet of wedding decor saved us a lot of money too. Everything will go smoothly with the Armory team at the helm - they have running events down to a science. The entire space is so beautiful that you do not need to spend on decor - it is industrial but still warm and inviting. The lighting is perfect, the sound system is flawless, and their pulley system of curtains makes for a seamless and beautiful transition between ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. The lofted getting ready suite is enormous which was a huge plus: we are an LGBT couple so we had 2 brides and 20 other people eating brunch and getting ready together and we all fit. I am an event planner as my day job so I have high standards and a *lot* of opinions when it comes to events, and there's not a single thing I would have changed or done differently!”

“The Best Decision We Made (Besides Marrying Each Other!) Choosing Stroudsmoor Country Inn was, without question, one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking, but what truly sets Stroudsmoor apart is the people. Every single person we encountered was kind, welcoming, professional, and genuinely invested in making our wedding day unforgettable. Our day-of coordinator, Kaylie, was nothing short of incredible. I truly don't know how she managed to take every single detail I had envisioned and execute it so flawlessly. She anticipated our needs before we even realized we had them and made the entire day feel effortless. From hiding our rings under a chair before the ceremony, to rearranging the cocktail hour space to better fit the flow of our guests, to making sure our meals weren't served until after we finished taking photos—she thought of absolutely everything. It was the little details that made such a huge difference, and not a single one went unnoticed. As a bride, it's hard to completely hand over control after spending months (or years!) planning your wedding. Kaylie made that so easy. She allowed me to be fully present, enjoy every moment with my husband, family, and friends, and never once worry about what was happening behind the scenes. That peace of mind is priceless. The entire Stroudsmoor team was exceptional. From the banquet staff to everyone working behind the scenes, every interaction was warm, thoughtful, and professional. Our guests are still talking about how attentive everyone was and how smoothly the entire day flowed. We never had to ask for anything because the staff was always one step ahead. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. Every space—from the ceremony site to cocktail hour and the reception—felt elegant, timeless, and beautifully maintained. It truly felt like something out of a fairytale. Looking back at our photos, I still can't believe that was our wedding. Our wedding was the best day of our lives, and Stroudsmoor played an enormous role in making it everything we had dreamed of and more. If you're considering getting married here, don't hesitate. You aren't just booking a beautiful venue, you're gaining an incredible team that genuinely cares about making your wedding perfect. To Kaylie, Grayson, Colleen, and the entire Stroudsmoor family: thank you for giving us memories we'll cherish for the rest of our lives. We are forever grateful, and if we had to do it all over again, we would choose Stroudsmoor every single time.”

“Our wedding at Shawnee was nothing short of magical. Our wedding took place on October 5, 2024, at Shawnee Inn. From the moment we secured the venue, Tabitha was incredibly supportive and consistently available to assist us. We hosted our entire wedding weekend at this location, and our guests thoroughly enjoyed their experience. Upon our arrival on Thursday, Jorge welcomed us warmly and provided invaluable assistance in transporting our wedding items to the conference room. On Friday, our guests participated in a round of golf, with JJ and Nick playing a pivotal role in organizing the outing. That evening, we held a welcome barbecue for all attendees, where the food was fantastic and the staff exemplary. On the morning of our wedding, we were treated to brunch while we prepared for the ceremony. Tabitha checked in frequently to ensure everything was proceeding smoothly. Our wedding ceremony was held outdoors on the lawn, which was breathtaking. It was followed by cocktail hour under the pavilion, which was truly stunning. The food and service during the cocktail hour were outstanding, with LaCresha ensuring that we, the brides, were well-fed and had drinks in hand. The reception took place in the main ballroom, where the dinner was delicious and the staff continued to impress us with their service. We concluded the celebration at the Brewery, where the staff was exceptionally accommodating and friendly. It was a flawless day, and we are immensely grateful to everyone involved. We had no complaints whatsoever. The following day, we hosted a farewell brunch on the front porch, and once again, the staff was attentive, and the food was remarkable. The bloody mary bar was incredible. Our guests are still raving about the wonderful time they had at Shawnee. The hotel itself is beautiful and exudes charm; although it is an older establishment, it possesses a unique character. The friendly and helpful staff significantly enhanced our special day. We highly recommend Shawnee to anyone seeking a memorable venue.”
