For the Love of Design! Kathryn Townsend's passion for flowers dates back to her childhood when helping her grandfather tend to his wonderfully diverse and immaculate flower garden. Years later after leaving her job at a publishing company, Kathryn enrolled in the floral design program at Longwood Gardens where they stress a less formulaic approach to flower arranging and emphasize originality in design. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.
