“Poppy Flowers was a great choice for our wedding flowers because they worked well trying to fit our budget and gave us flexibility with our flowers. Their communication was primarily virtual which was challenging at times. Outside of our first Zoom meeting, we had to communicate using their platform which could have been more efficient. Outside of the Poppy Flowers platform, our florist Dara Cordova did an amazing job. The quality of her work was excellent - she matched our vision for the flowers perfectly. The bouquets they created were absolutely stunning, encompassing all the flower profiles and colors we had discussed. Our guests had many compliments on how beautiful the flowers looked and how well they fit the overall style and aesthetic of our wedding day. Our only hiccup was when we were told we could flip our flowers from our wedding ceremony to reception area (we had different locations) but two weeks prior, we were told that they would not transport flowers from our ceremony to reception so we had to cut down and have our planner relocate the flowers for us. We wish communication would have been more clear. It was an added stress so close to the wedding. Overall. Poppy Flowers provided great value and delivered well-executed floral arrangements that truly brought our wedding vision to life on a budget.”

“The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

I had a wide variety of inspiration photos that I shared with her, and she talked through what I liked about each one to make sure we were on the same page about what I was looking for. I didn’t have particularly strong feelings about what types of flowers I wanted, just a color scheme and general vibe, so she selected the perfect flowers to achieve what I was looking for. We wanted to use our own containers for the floral centerpieces, which she made very easy for us. “Sarah and her team were so great! We used them for both our flowers and coordination services. I don’t know much about flowers and Sarah worked with me to figure out what I like. She also GREW THEM HERSELF!! I saw a fully floral arch on Pinterest and she brought that to life (see pics). For coordination and planning she was also so helpful. I texted her all the time with questions and she was very responsive. She also coordinated all the other vendors, confirming things with them and managing all the contracts. I didn’t know how to do this and it felt overwhelming at the end so it was so nice to have it off my plate. The day itself also went off without a hitch!”
