“The Manor House is an absolute dream. This was the 11th venue my now husband and I viewed for our wedding and we never turned back. All-inclusive venues are extremely worth it. The people are beyond kind and passionate about what they do. We initially worked with Mackenzie who was very responsive and even scheduled us in for multiple tours to bring our parents when they were in town. Katie was our day-of coordinator who answered our (and our vendors') many questions during the final months of preparation, and her facilitation and attention to detail made our day absolutely seamless. They have their events down to a science. That said, they are still flexible with timeline changes and random one-off requests (like my crazy décor ideas). The location is breathtaking. With most of our guests coming from out of state, it is easy to find housing/hotel accommodations in desired areas in and around Denver, Golden, etc. It is very accessible from the airport while still showing off the mountainous views. One more thing: the food. I've attended a lot of weddings and this is the first time I've heard guests raving about the food. The hors d'oeuvres were also delicious. Photographer: Grace Gatto”

“Mount Vernon Canyon Club truly is the perfect place to get married. I don’t think I have enough good things to say about them or the people who work there. Barbara is an absolute ray of sunshine. I would adopt her if I could. Seriously. She is just one of those people that instantly makes you feel taken care of. I think she told me she’s been doing weddings for 25 years and it shows. She knows her stuff. If you have an outside coordinator, listen to Barbara’s feedback and suggestions because she has seen everything and genuinely wants your day to be successful. Also, Angel is the bar manager from heaven. I have never had cocktails so delicious in my life. We had kiwi margaritas and a bourbon brown sugar/vanilla Manhattan, which sounds a little ridiculous when I type it out, but I would happily drink both every day for the rest of my life. We had a pretty specific vision and he absolutely nailed it. We are also a crowd that likes to drink and at no point did people have to wait forever for a beverage, which was honestly impressive. I know Will was one of our bartenders and there was another woman who was incredible that I cannot remember her name right now, but once I figure it out I’ll come back and update this review because she deserves a shoutout too! Also, thank you to Nicole, who helped me navigate some wedding-related hiccups after the fact that had absolutely nothing to do with Mount Vernon. She didn’t have to help and she did anyway. The views are spectacular, but honestly what stands out most is the people. There are a lot of beautiful wedding venues in Colorado. What makes Mount Vernon special is that the people genuinely care about your wedding and about you. We felt so loved and supported throughout this process and are so grateful we got to celebrate our day there.”

“Spruce Mountain was the best venue we could have possibly chosen. My fiancé was sold from the pictures online and when we toured, I spent the whole time just breathless. We were on the upper ranch with the ceremony on Trey's Vista (stunning), cocktail hour in the Spruce Room, and reception in the Ponderosa Room. Communication with them was easy, Tara was our representative and she happily answered all of our questions and communicated seamlessly without overloading our inbox. She even provided me with a preferred vendors list of vendors they have worked with before which created a great starting place for finding vendors. I was a bit skeptical of their requirement of a Day of Coordinator, but I am so thankful that they required it. We didn't have to lift a finger on the wedding day, I wasn't being asked a million questions, it was fantastic. On the wedding day, our property manager came to introduce herself and told us where to find her if we needed her, there was music playing on the TV in the bridal suite, everything was so clean and perfectly set up to start the day. All of our guests could not stop raving about the venue - the views at the ceremony site, having separate spaces for each part of the day, the mix of indoor and outdoor space for the cocktail hour and reception, and so many said "this sets my bar so high for weddings". If I could do my wedding all over again, I would book Spruce with no hesitation!!”

“Kodie is such a gem of a human being and I am so blessed that I got to work with her, she made my whole wedding experience and wedding day absolutely perfect!!! My (now) husband and I are from MN and we wanted to get married in CO and have a small wedding. At the beginning of my wedding planning I found Kodie when she had posted in groups about her mobile bar business K-Bar, in a CO wedding group on Facebook. I went to her website to check out the bars and such because they looked adorable. While I was looking around the website I found that they had recently began to offer micro weddings at their home/land near Guffey CO that couples can make their own day! So I sent a message and Kodie sent me more information and it was an immediate yes!! We booked and got everything going! Kodie responded to emails and texts in a timely manner and we spoke on the phone many times. She is so nice and took time to go over options, give recommendations, and walk me through everything. She coordinated and put everything together for us! We had a big beautiful white tent with sides that we could open or close (in case of weather) with cafe lights, portapotty, yard games, tables and chairs, beverages, and food!! We had a personal pizza party & a nonalcoholic beverage station! Everyone made their own pizza and Kodie cooked it in a wood fire grill! She had so many topping options for people and it was a HUGE hit!! We got to pick an alcoholic beverage package and what bar we wanted (we went with Johnnie Cash)! Chris was a fabulous bartender and he was so fun to chat with! Kodie had so many fun options, decor, and details!! We have nothing but good things to say about our day and there is not a single thing that we would have changed!! I kid you not, we received compliments from every guest and had multiple people tell us that it was the BEST wedding they have ever been to!! Everything was exactly what I had dreamed of and working with K-Bar was really what made it so great! Not to mention the gorgeous views and their donkeys! When we come back to CO for vacations in the future, I will for sure be reaching out to Kodie to meet up because her and Mitch feel like family now! XO-The Utsch’s!”

“We just had our wedding at Marchand Ranch and can’t say enough amazing things about the experience! We had a microwedding (30 people) and it was challenging to find a venue within our budget that wouldn’t feel too large for this size party. When we were doing initial sourcing for potential venues, Cassie with Marchand quickly set us up on a call with Tiffany. After chatting with her briefly, we quickly cancelled additional calls we had with other venues and signed that night to have our wedding at Marchand Ranch - and gosh, what a great decision! Tiffany was so warm and friendly in every single interaction we had with her. From the first call, she put our minds at ease. She has stellar experience in creating beautiful events and helped us craft a vision for a warm and intimate celebration and showed us how to bring it to life. On the day of our wedding, she was responsive, kind, and thoughtful. She was so helpful and went above and beyond at the end of the evening while cleaning up, too. I don’t know what’s best about Tiffany: the exceptional work she does or the delightful, joyful, and kind attitude with which she does it. I can’t say enough wonderful things about her. Tiffany has intentially built a wonderful team to bring the Marchand Ranch vision to life. We were lucky enough to have Solana as our day-of coordinator (this is an amazing perk that comes with the venue and helped smooth out several sticky parts of the day). Solana was cheerful, kind, and helped extensively when executing the wedding day. I was a nervous wreck and we had a few snags day of (nothing related to Marchand Ranch), but she jumped in and helped us keep everything on track. Now, for the venue - we signed with Marchand Ranch sight unseen, in part because of how beautiful the photos were. That said, photos do not do justice for the natural beauty. The drive to the Ranch is lovely, especially if you’re having people in from out of town. It really captures Colorado’s natural beauty. The mountains pop against the sky, the greenery is stunning, and it encapsulates so many aspects of why people love our stunning state. Additionally, the redone barn has a rustic elegance and was just so stunning. The “Something Borrowed Shed” and the tables, linens, chargers, and decor that was included with the venue is something you’d be hard-pressed to find elsewhere and helped cut costs that can add up quickly. The floor is incredible for dancing, and we could not be happier with our experience at Marchand Ranch. If you’re getting married in Colorado, there’s no better place to do it than at Marchand Ranch! Stunning views, incredible venue, and most importantly, a capable and kind team who will ensure your day is magical. Could not recommend Marchand Ranch more!!!”

“When I tell you that our wedding couldn't have gone any more perfect, I mean it! We started our planning with Violet, but she had to move to fulfill some awesome opportunities and we love that for her! From there we got Monique "Mo" who took our wedding and executed the planning beyond what we could have expected. On wedding day, there was torrential down pour and Mo kept me calm, collected, and confident. 15 minutes before our ceremony, the rain disappeared and the skies cleared for the rest of the night. The entire staff wiped off all of the chairs and squeegeed the ceremony area right in time for 4:00 pm start. It was AMAZING. Everything went so smooth, no detail was left unseen, and the staff were SO diligent on making sure everything was just right. Prior to me walking down the aisle, Darby was right by my side adjusting my veil that had fallen, making sure I reapplied lipstick, and got me safely and smoothly on my way. We later found her at the bar with Keely, and both of them held the energy for our guests' experiences with smiles on their faces and laughs to fill the halls. Not a dry mouth in sight. Towards the end of the night, Mo had to hand us off to Ryan our Captain, and we couldn't have been more pleased with how sweet and thoughtful he was. We are naturally used to cleaning up after ourselves and entertaining people, but Ryan stepped in and made sure that we focused on our wedding and not our natural actions. He also fixed the photo booth for us as I think we jammed it with too many pictures. From there he instilled that our stuff would be packed up and ready for us the next day. He carefully packed everything! I had some very fragile and sentimental items, and he made sure to take care of them. Our DJ Emily was epic from initial video call to wedding day. We had an open mic for people to speak, and it went on WAY longer than expected but she kept the crowd confident and really allowed the leniency in the change of planned time. We met our chef Christian at the food tasting but did not see him during our wedding and that's OK because we KNOW he was in that kitchen making sure that the food was top tier. We are 4 days out of the event date and people are STILL talking about the food. The feedback from our guests was that this is the ABSOLUTE BEST wedding they've ever been to and that that is heavy on emphasis because they have been to many weddings before. One person who I think is name Kirah (I hope I got this right so she gets recognized), she frequented our sweetheart table and made sure we were never hungry or thirsty. She was a little shy at first, but we hope Wedgewood keeps instilling her confidence because she will be a great asset long term once she finds her confidence. Her smile alone will ease anyone's nerves. We felt like royalty and felt valued by the entire staff at Wedgewood Briarhurst Manor. I know we are not the only couple that has had their event here, but we FEEL like we were. We wish that we could relive this night over and over again. Impeccable job! We can't wait to see this venue flourish!”

“From the start, Wedgewood Weddings' communication was outstanding. They handled every detail with precision, and our coordinators Katrina and Landon made us feel so comfortable throughout the planning process. Katrina had that girls-girl energy we needed, while Landon kept me grounded on the big day. The venue itself was stunning, and Emily with DJ Maestro absolutely nailed the dance floor—our guests couldn't stop talking about her! The whole team worked like a well-oiled machine to pull off our special day, and Jake and I will never stop gushing about how beautiful everything was. We couldn't have asked for a better experience at Craftwood Peak.”

“Our experience with Lori and Willow Vale were incredible. She was easy to communicate and connect with. We loved her. She was able to coordinate the whole day for us from our schedule and this took a massive amount of stress away from us - especially doing a destination wedding! The venue is incredibly beautiful. Having the wedding party stay in the cottages was so fun and made this more of an experience than just one day that flew by. The cottages were so clean and comfortable as well. It did rain at the time we were supposed to get married but Lori did all she could to still make everything happen in the grove. 30 minutes later - Lori was soaking wet and running all around and she made our dream come true of getting married in the grove. We loved every second of our wedding here!”

“WOW. Cannot say enough about how special this venue is. The massive mountain vistas, wide open spaces, fresh air and coziness; this place has is magical. If you are looking for a venue to escape to the mountains and craft a purposeful weekend full of your favorite people in a rustic, outdoor paradise, you've found it. We got married in mid July on the ranch and had the full weekend to enjoy time with loved ones. From the very beginning, Allison was flexible and genuinely wanted to know how to help make our day a success. This is not your traditional cookie-cutter venue and is such an exceptional place to really make your wedding YOURS. All of the basics are there but none of the frilly bells and whistles we didn't need. The property is massive and so picturesque with sweeping plains and big mountains all around. The space is so accommodating for whatever you want to dream up for your special day and perhaps most unique of all, it can be rented for an entire weekend as a place to stay and celebrate with those you love so you don't need to try to squeeze everything into a single evening. We had a relaxed welcome event with a taco truck, beers and yard games on Friday night as an excuse to spend some extra time with out of town guests. As it cooled down, everyone gathered around the firepits trading stories. The night before really took pressure off of the wedding day and the meadow within the ranch was so perfect. There is even a saloon with a whole selection of games (ping-pong, cornhole, horseshoes) already there to enjoy. This also served as a fabulous indoor space for 15 minutes right after our ceremony on Saturday when we had a quick afternoon thunderstorm roll through. The barn was cozy and a perfect space for dancing during the reception. We danced until 2 am and although our vendors all trickled out when their roles were done, there was no cut-off time at the venue itself so we were able to dance all night long. This is incredibly unique. Very few venues allow this. We fell in love with the views first but truly could not have imagined a more fabulous, relaxed space for our celebration. Thank you Guyton Ranch! It will forever be a special place in our hearts.”

Beyond our fantastic vendor team and amazing wedding planner, Erika Weeks, we had a great experience working with Hillside and with the owners Donavan & Ashlee, and the events coordinator Lauren. Hillside is a truly unique venue. When we first toured in March 2025 we were blown away by the setting and views. From March 2025 to today, they continue to incorporate upgrades into the venue, including new artwork and a brand new creek/pond that adds to the ethereal ambiance. Donavan and Ashlee were super accommodating and happy to at least consider different questions and requests we had. We live out of state but cannot wait to come back and visit for another Wednesday Concert Series and a cup of coffee!”

About wedding venues in Guffey, CO

What Makes Colorado's Wedding Venues Unique?

Colorado's wedding venues offer something truly special, blending architectural diversity with stunning natural scenery. You'll find sophisticated urban elegance at the Grand Hyatt Denver right alongside the rustic charm of Spruce Mountain Ranch. Every window at the Flagstaff House Restaurant frames breathtaking mountain vistas while Tapestry House By Wedgewood Weddings pairs Victorian beauty with meticulously maintained gardens. Mountain View Ranch takes indoor-outdoor flow to the next level with retractable walls that let you seamlessly connect with nature while keeping guests comfortable. When it comes to costs you'll be pleasantly surprised - Colorado venues typically run between $6,000 and $6,800, which falls on the lower end of what you'd pay nationally where prices range from $6,500 to $12,000.

How Much Does a Colorado Mountain Wedding Cost?

Planning a Colorado mountain wedding for 150 guests? You're looking at around $46,999 total. Here's how that breaks down across your key vendors: - Florists: 16% ($7,466) - Venues: 14% ($6,399) - Catering: 11% ($5,119) - Photography: 10% ($4,622) - Videography: 9% ($4,124) - Wedding Planning: 9% ($4,124) - Bar Services: 9% ($4,095) - Bands and DJs: 3% ($1,500) - Cake and Desserts: 2% ($801) - Hair and Makeup: 1% ($670)

When Should You Book Colorado Wedding Services?

Timing is everything when planning your Colorado wedding. Start with your venue 13 months out - that's 390 days before your big day. Your photographer and wedding planner should be next on the list about 10 months ahead. Most other vendors including your florist caterer and videographer need about 9 months' notice while hair and makeup artists typically want 8 months' heads up. Planning a fall wedding? Book even earlier since September sees the highest demand.

Which Colorado Mountain Regions Offer the Best Wedding Settings?

You'll find perfect settings year-round in Colorado's mountains. The Grange shows off spectacular fall colors with its aspen groves while Della Terra lets you host cozy outdoor ceremonies with snowy peaks as your backdrop. Spring brings wildflower meadows at Wild Basin Lodge and summer celebrations shine under Balistreri Vineyards' pergola-covered patio. September proves most popular combining perfect temperatures with reliable weather.

How Do Denver Wedding Venues Compare to Mountain Locations?

Whether you're drawn to city sophistication or mountain majesty Colorado's got you covered. Craftwood Peak puts you face-to-face with Pikes Peak while The Simon offers industrial-chic style with Denver skyline views. You can celebrate in the historic Kirk Of Highland or surrounded by Garden of the Gods' stunning red rocks. City venues like Rooftop1630 deliver urban views while mountain locations connect you directly with nature.

What Weather Contingencies Do Colorado Venues Provide?

Colorado venues know how to handle whatever weather comes your way. Mount Vernon Canyon Club keeps you connected to the views through its glass-enclosed reception space while Church Ranch Event Center offers multiple indoor ceremony spots with mountain vistas through massive windows. Want a winter ceremony? Ashley Ridge has heated outdoor pavilions and Meadow Creek Lodge keeps everyone comfortable with covered walkways between venues.

Where Can You Find All-Inclusive Colorado Wedding Packages?

Looking to simplify your planning? Wedgewood Weddings properties across Colorado including Tapestry House and Mountain View Ranch handle everything from catering to coordination. The Grand Hyatt Denver includes room blocks with their packages while Balistreri Vineyards wraps up wine service catering and coordination in one easy contract. These venues make planning easier with dedicated coordinators managing timelines and vendor teams.

How Do Colorado Wedding Budgets Scale with Guest Count?

Your Colorado wedding budget flexes with your guest list: - 50 guests: $20,802 - 100 guests: $34,304 - 150 guests: $46,999 - 200 guests: $58,346 - 250 guests: $69,693 - 300 guests: $81,041 This scaling helps you maintain the quality you want while adjusting for your perfect guest count.
