“I honestly don’t even know where to begin. Our experience with The Lakehouse—especially with Daniella—was nothing short of incredible. From the very start, when we were just debating whether to choose them as our venue, they were beyond helpful in finding a date and time that worked best for my now-husband and me. We're from Massachusetts but currently living in Arizona, so you'd think planning a wedding from across the country would be difficult. Not with Daniella. She went above and beyond to make sure I felt like I was getting the full red carpet experience despite the distance. She was always available to hop on a call, pulled strings behind the scenes to make everything perfect, and honestly felt more like a best friend throughout the entire process. I seriously begged her to just join the party at one point! If you’re on the fence about choosing The Lakehouse—do it. It’s worth every single penny. I could list a million things that went wrong during the overall planning process and even on the wedding day, but none of it had anything to do with Saphire Event Group. I also want to give a huge shoutout to Aubre and Cortney. While I didn’t work with them as closely as I did with Daniella, I met them the morning of the wedding and they instantly made me feel comfortable and welcomed. They advocated for me when I needed it, provided reassurance, and made me feel like I was their top priority the entire day. And yes—it rained on my wedding day. But I loved this venue so much that being inside didn’t even faze me. The transition from the outdoor setup to the indoor ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception was absolutely seamless. I honestly don’t know how this team operates with such perfection, but I’m telling you—they do. Thank you all for making me feel so supported and at home during one of the most vulnerable times in my life. And Daniella—a huge thank you for all your care, support, and empathy during the MAJOR bumps in the road. I truly don’t know what my wedding day would’ve looked like without you, I probably would've convinced Bryan top elope instead. One hundred time over, thank you SOO much Daniella, you're made for this. Your humanity went a long way for me and its because of you my day was perfect. LOVE YOU ALL!!! ps.. I'd like to add how attentive the servers and bartenders were. I saw them very little, however, when I did encounter them they were super kind and there to do one thing - amazing customer service. I only heard positive comments about EVERY staff member at The Lakehouse. I also cannot forget the chief, I was so overwhelmed by guest raving how top tier the food was. Thank you all for delivering the absolute best experience to our family and friend... and vendors!”

She is also able to accommodate everything from your small backyard elopements to a grand ballroom wedding. Adding the mobil flower and coffee bar to any event is a really fun way to get people interacting. She has done bouquet crafting activities for bridal showers and events with is a really nice way to get people doing something fun and interactive at an event. “Brendan is the absolute best!!! His communication was quick and efficient when we first started the process of looking for a DJ. We looked no further once Brendan gave us his details. Our guests told us that they absolutely “loved our DJ” and we couldn’t agree more!! My main wish was to have everyone on the dance floor all night and thanks to Brendan’s playlist, our guests were dancing all night long. My dad worked with Brendan to come up with a mashup of songs that meant a lot to us from my childhood for the father/bride dance. The mashup had smooth transitions and it was very specially made. Brendan was conscious of our song requests and made our vision come to life from walkout songs to parent dances, group dances, cake cutting song, to final song of the night. The phone app that Brendan uses to organize your night is easy to use and allows you to personalize your night to absolute perfection as you prepare for the day. We selected the photo-booth package as well and the pictures came out phenomenal. The photos were of the highest quality and it is something we’ll have forever to cherish the night and our guests. Our experience with CSE from start to finish was 10/10. Chris and Elena are incredibly organized, communicative, and responsive. They always answered all of our questions (and I asked many!) Alec, Alex, Savannah, and the rest of the band members rocked it all night. One of the first things guests commented on about our wedding was how amazing the band was. One of our guests commented that they wish they could cancel their DJ and fly CSE to their wedding in Portugal because they loved them so much. Extremely talented musicians for an awesome price, which make a huge difference when wedding planning. “...Saying Danielle went above and beyond would be a total understatement. She was so professional and responsive to my emails and calls and gave the most incredible advice that went beyond just photography. She understood our vision completely and worked endlessly to execute it. We had kind of a unique vision, involving having private vows with a private ceremony and then taking a boat ride to the reception. Since she hadn't shot at our venue before, about a month out from our wedding day she took time out of her busy schedule to meet us and walk through all the locations and map out the timing absolutely perfectly with the boat. She even came at the exact timing that the ceremony would be to find the best lighting in my fiancé's parent's back yard. She got us the sneak peak so quickly and we were truly blown away. I had very high expectations for the photos and she exceeded them completely. Our photos on the boat came out amazing and she just understood our simple/classic 90s vibe perfectly. Both of our moms commented on how hard Danielle worked the whole day and were so impressed with her professionalism. We couldn't afford a 2nd photographer but Danielle found a way to capture every moment we could possibly want. She was present but also gave us the space to feel every moment just us 2 which allowed us to be so comfortable and candid. Her photography is amazing but most importantly, Danielle is an amazing human being. I never expected to get so close to a wedding vendor but I can happily say we found such an amazing friend in Danielle. She truly cares, which just takes the photos and the experience to a whole other level. She is a true gem and I can not recommend her enough. I could go on and on with how amazing she was.”

“Alec made every part of our photo process seamless, easy, and so fun! Our wedding was 6/29/25 and the preview of the photos has both of our jaws on the floor. Alec has an amazing way with taking pictures where posing feels very natural and never forced. Our group and family photos were taken like a well oiled machine, allowing us to enjoy our entire family! We had several requests he was able to easily accommodate and we were able to incorporate our dog into some of our pictures which was a highlight for us both. Alec is a true professional, his communication is prompt, he is easy to reach with any question and is very organized with forms to fill out to make your day very smooth. We have been so happy to work with him for both our engagement pictures and our wedding photos, and hope we have another occasion to work with him again in the future! We've been to a lot of weddings, and it’s rare to see a dance floor packed from start to finish, but he had ours full the entire night. Every song choice, every transition, every moment flowed perfectly — from the high-energy entrance all the way through to the very last song. Alex has this incredible ability to read the room and keep the energy exactly where it should be. He made the night seamless, fun, and truly unforgettable. As a bride, I felt like I had a lot of specific requests regarding timing of certain songs for the processional, recessional, first dances, etc. He exceeded my dreams. From ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner and reception, it was truly immaculate. “From our initial facetime with Kelsey, to our engagement shoot, to our wedding day, she was an absolute pleasure to work with. I had a phone call with Kelsey 1 week before the wedding just so she could triple check we were all on the same page about wedding day. She created a tailored day of schedule for us which did not feel rushed. We always felt heard by Kelsey about how we envisioned the day. She gave us space but was still able to capture magical moments. She had such a calming presence during what can be a chaotic day and made us feel confident and our best during our portraits. Kelsey's second photographer Elyse who was working with her was also wonderful. She has a romantic, documentary style which appears effortless but still gives instruction on how to pose during portraits. She also got our sneak peaks to us in record time and was able to provide a generous amount of sneak peak photos just 2 days after our wedding. She estimated our full wedding gallery would take 8-10 weeks but we were pleasantly surprised when our wedding gallery arrived within 7 weeks and on my birthday! What a pleasant surprise and the wedding gallery was tailored, comprehensive and not overwhelming to go through. Our favorites ended up being from the sneak peaks speaking to how well Kelsey was able to comb through all of the photos and pick the best ones. We can't recommend Kelsey enough if you want a timeless, romantic documentary style photographer.”

“Words almost fail to express how freaking fabulous our time with The Barker House was! We are just over 3 months married (3/27/2025) and family and friends still remark to us on just how fun and gorgeous our wedding was. A ton of that credit goes to the amazing staff at the Barker House. Right from the start of our first tour, we were treated with such kindness and respect from the Barker House team. We were immediately sold on the staff (who took such time and care chatting with us) before we even fell in love with the venue. Davis-Lynn and Lilly were our rockstars! We were lucky enough to have them with us on our wedding day. The first portion of the day I was incredibly nervous, but once I was greeted by Davis-Lynn at the front door all my worries dissipated. I knew I was in the best of hands and suddenly felt ready to have fun. Even during the dinner service, Lilly was so kind as to sew my ripped bustle behind the scenes. She was so dedicated to making sure we had the best experience. The venue is simply stunning. As two people who appreciate history and go antiquing regularly, The Barker House spoke to our personalities. The speak-easy feel of the sunken bar, fireplaces, and exposed beams are very unique. The venue is in a gorgeous area and we were glad to be by the ocean. The chef is phenomenal as the food service was top notch. Family still exclaim to us how delicious the food was (omg the short ribs perfection!). I also suggest that couples utilize The Barker House's recommended vendors. Not only was payment and interaction with them a breeze, but they were each fabulous in responsiveness and quality. Awesome Blossom, Toast To That Entertainment, and Kristen Griffin Photography were incredibly professional and they each blew us away. I could go on and on... The bottom line, if you looking for a worry free all inclusive beautiful venue and want to work with the best people, look no further than The Barker House! P.S. Brides, make sure you get a picture with your planners! My only regret is that I didn't get a picture with Lilly and Davis-Lynn!”

Even with her travel fees she was significantly more affordable than many other HMUAs in the area and is so talented! Booking a trial was very easy, I did wish we had more time to talk about the look I was hoping for during my trial but I think the appointment before me was running a little behind, but she seemed to recognize that The wedding day was perfect!
