The Flower Dude
Rating: 5.0 (27 reviews)
·Ratings include Zola and Google reviews
  • Starts at $1,000
  • Serves Hampstead, NH
  • Offer

I'm Don Clark. I run The Flower Dude, a studio wedding florist in Portland, Maine. Studio means no retail shop, and that's the point. Instead of a cooler full of roses that flew up from Miami last week, I work from three gardens in Cape Elizabeth and Kennebunk — so from June through late September, your flowers are cut the morning you get married. I arrange everything myself, then deliver and set it up: bouquets, boutonnieres, arches, reception tables, all of it. Personal and personalized.

“From our first conversation, we knew The Flower Dude was the right choice for our wedding. Donald was responsive to our ideas and genuinely invested in understanding what we wanted—he didn't just listen, he collaborated with us every step of the way. Flowers were a top priority for us, and he created the floral arrangement of our dreams with stunning displays throughout the ceremony, reception tables, and every corner in between. His attention to detail and high-quality work exceeded all of our expectations. Donald captured our vision perfectly and delivered above and beyond what we envisioned for our special day. We can't thank him enough for making our flowers so beautiful.”

“If I could give Bumble and Bee more than 5 stars, I would! Joelle is incredibly talented and was an absolute dream to work with. She created the floral arrangements and decor for our son’s wedding rehearsal and welcome party., and everything was beyond anything o could have imagined. I shared my vision with her, and she took it to a whole new level, creating something even more beautiful than I pictured. Joelle truly listens, pays close attention to every detail, and takes the time to understand exactly what you’re hoping for. She is a perfectionist in the very best way, and it shows in every single detail. She thought of so many special touches that I never would have considered., and they made the entire event feel magical. From fireplace mantels to indoor and outdoor tables, the piano, the bar, the bathrooms—every space was decorated to perfection. Everywhere you looked there was another beautiful detail. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how spectacular everything looked. Working with Joelle was effortless. She is kind, creative, organized, and exceptionally talented. Everything was absolutely perfect, and I cannot recommend Bumble and Bee Florist highly enough.”

White Birch Floral Studio
Rating: 5.0 (14 reviews)
Hampstead, NH
  • Starts at $8,000

Jessica is a floral designer and event stylist born and raised in Southern New Hampshire. Like most passions in life, Jessica’s love for flowers and plants started at a young age. From making fairy houses out of rocks, branches, and moss in her backyard to planting her own garden with her grandmother each summer. During college Jessica had the opportunity to work for a few florists in her home town as well as her college town. It was there she realized what she grew up loving so much could become a career. After graduating from the University of New Hampshire in 2018, Jessica opened her first studio out of her home to pursue her passion.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Jessica and the White Birch Floral team brought our vision to life in the best way possible. From the beginning Jessica was extremely organized and professional, providing a detailed proposal including the vision and colors for the day. The day of our wedding, Jessica & the team set up a stunning ceremony & reception space, including candles, to bring the warmest colorful cozy vibe to our wedding. They moved the florals from the ceremony space to the reception during cocktail hour and came back to break down all of the florals at the end of the night. I can’t recommend White Birch Floral enough, they truly transformed our wedding and deserve 10000/5 stars!”

Blue Dahlia Wooden Florals, LLC
Rating: 5.0 (16 reviews)
  • Serves Hampstead, NH

My business started when I was planning my own wedding. I love flowers, but we couldn't justify spending hundreds or thousands on real flowers to throw them away in a week when we also found out we were expecting our first child at the same time. In came wood flowers! After much practice, I discovered I have an eye for colors and floral design and now 4 years and MANY weddings and THOUSANDS of home decor pieces later, this is not only my passion but it is also my full time business. No side hustle here! You will have my undivided attention. I'll make sure your floral dreams come to life in wood and the best part, they LAST FOREVER!

“We went in with an idea of what we wanted and ended up with so much more! Katie’s ability to take a picture or preference of flowers and create something so beautiful is such gift! We highly recommend her for any of your wooden flowers needs. We still keep our bouquets out throughout our house!”

Nectar & Vessel
Rating: 5.0 (14 reviews)
  • Starts at $6,500
  • Serves Hampstead, NH

At Nectar & Vessel our ethos is sustainability + bliss-forward designs. We specialize in arrangements that are full of texture, unique and lush. We crave the weirdo flowers, the heirloom varieties and mixing in contrasting natural elements. We don't try to be on-trend, rather we are intuitive with the flower and our clients and let the flower speak to us.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Working with Naomi for our wedding florals was a DREAM and an exceptional experience from start to finish. We cannot recommend her and her team at Nectar and Vessel highly enough to other couples getting married. One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was hiring Naomi and her team and giving her complete creative freedom. She took that freedom, and spun floral magic into the most beautifully designed space we have ever seen. Her love for florals, and for creating beautiful moments for others shines in her work - and isn’t that what you want on your wedding day? To be surrounded by love through flowers that all your guests can feel? That’s the magic Naomi brings to weddings that is impossible to replicate. The floral designs and artistry that Naomi and her team created for our day were simply stunning. Beyond being beautiful, they were unique and felt personal to us. It was the talk of the wedding that none of the guests had ever seen a display like the florals at our wedding, and that each tablescape and design felt like a work of art. A few things additional things about working with N&V we’d like to highlight: Design and vision: Naomi not only executed a vision for our wedding florals and design, she shaped it from the very beginning. The proposal powerpoint was a detailed mood board of not only the florals, but the overall vibe and design for the wedding. For the bride or groom, like me, who was overwhelmed with how to make a wedding feel cohesive, personal, and intentionally designed, trust in Naomi to help jump start that process and hire her as one of your early vendors. Flawless logistics and professionalism: Working with N&V was completely stress free because Naomi and her team are true professionals. She was respectful of our budget, had a clear, well-structured contract, and payment through her professional portal was incredibly easy. Everything was delivered, set-up, and cleaned up flawlessly and on-time. Importantly, if there were any issues day-of, we didn’t hear about it or take on any of that stress (though with her careful planning, I bet there weren’t any fires to put out!) While these sound like boring logistics, all of this professional preparation on N&V’s part saved us a ton of time and stress wedding planning. Positivity and good energy: Naomi herself is the warmest and most effusively positive person - that was clear from our very first consultation call with her and was even more true on the day of our wedding. We felt showered in positivity throughout our experience working with her, which is exactly what you want on your big day! We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Nectar and Vessel, and specifically, Naomi and her wonderful team. Hire her early, trust her to work her magic and give her all the creative control, and then watch your wedding venue transform. “Lyndsey was so wonderful to work with! Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

We chose one of the more basic options because of our color scheme but there were so many more stunning, fun and colorful options out there as well! We used them for the bouquets and boutonnieres and it made life so easy. No need to worry about the flowers staying alive or getting water stains on your dresses. We had everything in bins ready to go before wedding day. Great pricing. The bouquets are so full and you can see the thought that goes into choosing the colors, type, and placement of each flower. The company communication is quick, kind, informative, and they are just all around amazing!”

“Wow — I couldn’t be more thrilled to have worked with Erica and Restless Spirit Floral for our wedding. It was truly one of the highlights of the entire day. I went to sleep dreaming about the flowers! Florals were one of the most important elements of our celebration, so I was deeply intentional about finding the right partner to bring our vision to life. To say Erica exceeded expectations would be a massive understatement. She went above and beyond in every sense, adding thoughtful surprises and deeply personal touches that showcased not only her talent and creativity but also her genuine care for her clients. From our very first conversation, I knew Erica got it. We came to her with a unique idea: seasonal, natural florals paired with cheeky, high-low New England coastal vibes. She met us there, and then some. She took the time to source the perfect details, from a duck vase (a nod to my spouse, nicknamed “Ducky”) to vintage Cape Cod vessels, and even mailed us old postcards of our wedding location, which, of course, we used for our table numbers. She surprised us by placing our high-top bouquets in Narragansett beer cans (my spouse’s go-to drink) and collaborated with us on a lobster trap altar — sourcing real traps and buoys from a retired fisherman she found on Facebook Marketplace. The level of effort and heart she poured into it all was unreal. And the arrangements themselves? Beyond anything I had imagined. Organic, expressive, and brimming with character. Erica let the florals speak for themselves while adding whimsical, meaningful touches that made everything feel alive and full of joy. Our vision wasn’t traditional, and it certainly wasn’t for everyone, but Erica listened, understood, and created a completely bespoke experience that felt true to us. I have no doubt she brings that same dedication and artistry to every couple lucky enough to work with her.”

Danielle was so easy to chat with along our planning journey and took the time to create the perfect floral game plan for our special day. It truly felt like we were planning with our best friend who was honest about what would work/what wouldn't look so great while helping us stay within budget and maximize the look and feel of our florals.
