“Spruce Mountain Ranch is one of our favorite venues to photograph, offering two distinct yet equally beautiful spaces. Lower Ranch has a warm, intimate feel with its darker wood tones and grand stone fireplace, along with multiple gorgeous ceremony locations. Upper Ranch, on the other hand, is bright and spacious, featuring lighter wood, soaring ceilings, and an open design that can accommodate larger weddings—something we always appreciate. No matter which space couples choose, both locations offer breathtaking mountain views in every season. We’ve had the privilege of capturing weddings here throughout the year, each with its own unique touch of Colorado’s ever-changing weather. On top of that, the team at Spruce Mountain Ranch is incredible to work with, ensuring every wedding day runs smoothly. It’s always a pleasure to return to this stunning venue! “Our experience with The Lost Dutchman Event Center was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we first reached out, their communication was easy, thorough, and incredibly kind. The venue itself is simply beautiful, with a gorgeous lake view that provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding day. The space was clean and cozy, and we felt we got great value for our money. They went above and beyond to make our day special - they let us use some of their leftover pumpkins to complement our decor, and even made a special to-go plate for my husband and I after the reception. The staff was communicative and helpful throughout the entire planning process, and made everything so easy for us, from picking the menu to setup and cleanup. I loved every second of my time at my wedding, and I truly can't say enough good things about The Lost Dutchman Event Center. They helped make our day absolutely perfect.”

The six acres of the mansion are exclusively yours to enjoy on your wedding day. Awarded Best of Zola
“Our ceremony and reception were at the Manor House on November 30, 2025. We valued the flexibility to have our ceremony indoors or outdoors. Although our dream scenario was to be outside with the epic views and vistas, the weather did not cooperate, and we had to move inside. But, the good news is that you can do that -- no problem -- and, it was seamless and arguably just as uniquely romantic and memorable. Manor House guides you through the entire process and provides coordinator services as part of your package. We met with several different folks as we progressed from planning to the wedding itself, and everyone was professional and knowledgeable. That said, Katie was our coordinator, and she did a wonderful job guiding us to make well-informed decisions that truly delivered our vision for a perfect day we "heart" Katie.  I've lived in the area for 13 years, and I had no idea this place existed. What a shame. It's a hidden treasure. Go visit. Meet the staff. Attend a tasting. If you want a classy, elevated experience that is right here in metro-Denver but feels like you somehow transported to a place like the Stanley in Estes, Manor House is the place for you!”

“We are from out of state, so we chose Echo Mountain sight unseen September of last year. We watched a very helpful video tour, but we visited for the first time this past April before our wedding. Mountain views and good food were our main priorities, and they sure delivered on both of them. We communicated with three event coordinators, but Rachel was our main point of contact and our coordinator for the day of our wedding. I cannot emphasize enough how friendly, helpful, organized and just incredible to work with she was. She was so helpful with timeline management for the day because we didn’t hire an outside coordinator. She made sure our guests knew where to go, made sure my husband and I had food (didn’t realize how important this was with how busy the day gets), and was so helpful coordinating with our DJ and photographers. We had our tasting at our April visit, and we loved the food Chef Hayden prepared. We chose to have our catering by Echo (they do have an option to allow outside catering), and we had so many guests compliment the food, both the appetizers and the dinner. Our ceremony site was outside with sweeping mountain views, and our reception dinner and dancing was inside the primary lodge. They also have a large white tent as a backup if needed for weather. We cannot say enough good things about Echo, the venue itself and the staff, and we are so happy we chose it for our wedding.”

“We just celebrated my son’s beautiful wedding at the Ameristar Casino Resort Spa in Black Hawk, Colorado, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish! Nestled in the stunning Rocky Mountains, this venue made for the most magical mountain wedding setting we could have imagined. A huge shout-out to Kelly Chandler — she went way above and beyond her duties to ensure every single detail was flawless. From planning to execution, she handled everything with such care and professionalism that we never had a single worry. She truly made our family’s special day stress-free and spectacular! Our host, Alvin Pasagui, was incredible as well. He made sure every detail was covered, the accommodations were top-notch (spacious, luxurious rooms with amazing views), and everything ran smoothly. The food was absolutely delicious — every course was a hit with our guests, and the presentation was elegant and perfect for a wedding celebration. The entire casino and resort staff were the best we’ve ever experienced — friendly, attentive, and genuinely excited to be part of our big day. Everything felt seamless and high-end. If you’re looking for a memorable wedding in the mountains with luxury, great food, fantastic service, and that perfect blend of casino excitement and romantic resort vibes, I cannot recommend the Ameristar Black Hawk enough. We had a great time and would book it again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend — 5 Stars!!!!”

“We highly, highly recommend Juniper as the venue for your upcoming wedding! We first visited Juniper 3 years prior to our wedding as lodge guests and knew immediately it was where we wanted to have our wedding. We ultimately did not search for any other venues as we knew just from one visit it was the venue for us. Ashley & Alea have curated such an incredible space and it was the perfect setting for our wedding. As a lesbian couple, it also was a huge draw for us to support a queer, women owned business. We knew we wanted a smaller, intimate wedding & Juniper was the perfect setting for doing so. Their packages were very reasonable & the Meadow Ceremony space was a huge draw for where we envisioned saying I do. They also had an outstanding list of preferred vendors which significantly helped throughout the planning process. As hosts for our wedding, they were easy to work with & also made our day feel extra special! We had some very specific asks in terms of music playlists, bar choices & table scapes which they were very attentive to & accommodated. During our final walk through meeting (which they accommodated virtually since we are an out of town couple!) they were very clear on all the moving pieces for day of & prepping for our wedding Day of - Ashley & Alea were present the entire time & worked very well with all our vendors & wedding planners to make our day 100% smooth. Even with some weather rolling through shortly before our ceremony, they were on deck to adjust as needed. The entire evening went off without a hitch and ultimately the ceremony space & reception space were everything we envisioned, thanks to their execution. If you are looking for an all encompassing wedding venue that is in a gorgeous setting, welcoming environment & with genuinely kind & attentive hosts, Juniper is just the place! Our wedding was the most magical, perfect day & it not only is due to Juniper itself, but especially thanks to Ashley & Alea who we are very grateful for bringing our fairytale wedding come to be! The best part - we can come back and visit our venue anytime we want to! Photos: Kate Ivy Photography”

“I cannot say enough about how amazing our wedding at Loveland was. They went above and beyond what I thought. My husband and I really struggled to find a venue that was in our price range, big enough to hold all our family, and was in the mountains which was important to our relationship story. We ended up going with Loveland and we couldn’t be happier. They allow you to set everything up the day before, they help put up chairs and the dance floor and coordinate with vendors, and they help clean up the next day. This made my wedding weekend something I could enjoy, instead of stress over. Also, the photos were beautiful and the access to Loveland pass was a great perk. And they have transportation! Which was so easy and smooth. Seriously can’t say enough good things. All my guests said it was the most beautiful and well planned wedding they have ever been to.”

About wedding venues in Idaho Springs, CO

What Makes Colorado's Wedding Venues Unique?

Colorado's wedding venues offer something truly special, blending architectural diversity with stunning natural scenery. You'll find sophisticated urban elegance at the Grand Hyatt Denver right alongside the rustic charm of Spruce Mountain Ranch. Every window at the Flagstaff House Restaurant frames breathtaking mountain vistas while Tapestry House By Wedgewood Weddings pairs Victorian beauty with meticulously maintained gardens. Mountain View Ranch takes indoor-outdoor flow to the next level with retractable walls that let you seamlessly connect with nature while keeping guests comfortable. When it comes to costs you'll be pleasantly surprised - Colorado venues typically run between $6,000 and $6,800, which falls on the lower end of what you'd pay nationally where prices range from $6,500 to $12,000.

How Much Does a Colorado Mountain Wedding Cost?

Planning a Colorado mountain wedding for 150 guests? You're looking at around $46,999 total. Here's how that breaks down across your key vendors: - Florists: 16% ($7,466) - Venues: 14% ($6,399) - Catering: 11% ($5,119) - Photography: 10% ($4,622) - Videography: 9% ($4,124) - Wedding Planning: 9% ($4,124) - Bar Services: 9% ($4,095) - Bands and DJs: 3% ($1,500) - Cake and Desserts: 2% ($801) - Hair and Makeup: 1% ($670)

When Should You Book Colorado Wedding Services?

Timing is everything when planning your Colorado wedding. Start with your venue 13 months out - that's 390 days before your big day. Your photographer and wedding planner should be next on the list about 10 months ahead. Most other vendors including your florist caterer and videographer need about 9 months' notice while hair and makeup artists typically want 8 months' heads up. Planning a fall wedding? Book even earlier since September sees the highest demand.

Which Colorado Mountain Regions Offer the Best Wedding Settings?

You'll find perfect settings year-round in Colorado's mountains. The Grange shows off spectacular fall colors with its aspen groves while Della Terra lets you host cozy outdoor ceremonies with snowy peaks as your backdrop. Spring brings wildflower meadows at Wild Basin Lodge and summer celebrations shine under Balistreri Vineyards' pergola-covered patio. September proves most popular combining perfect temperatures with reliable weather.

How Do Denver Wedding Venues Compare to Mountain Locations?

Whether you're drawn to city sophistication or mountain majesty Colorado's got you covered. Craftwood Peak puts you face-to-face with Pikes Peak while The Simon offers industrial-chic style with Denver skyline views. You can celebrate in the historic Kirk Of Highland or surrounded by Garden of the Gods' stunning red rocks. City venues like Rooftop1630 deliver urban views while mountain locations connect you directly with nature.

What Weather Contingencies Do Colorado Venues Provide?

Colorado venues know how to handle whatever weather comes your way. Mount Vernon Canyon Club keeps you connected to the views through its glass-enclosed reception space while Church Ranch Event Center offers multiple indoor ceremony spots with mountain vistas through massive windows. Want a winter ceremony? Ashley Ridge has heated outdoor pavilions and Meadow Creek Lodge keeps everyone comfortable with covered walkways between venues.

Where Can You Find All-Inclusive Colorado Wedding Packages?

Looking to simplify your planning? Wedgewood Weddings properties across Colorado including Tapestry House and Mountain View Ranch handle everything from catering to coordination. The Grand Hyatt Denver includes room blocks with their packages while Balistreri Vineyards wraps up wine service catering and coordination in one easy contract. These venues make planning easier with dedicated coordinators managing timelines and vendor teams.

How Do Colorado Wedding Budgets Scale with Guest Count?

Your Colorado wedding budget flexes with your guest list: - 50 guests: $20,802 - 100 guests: $34,304 - 150 guests: $46,999 - 200 guests: $58,346 - 250 guests: $69,693 - 300 guests: $81,041 This scaling helps you maintain the quality you want while adjusting for your perfect guest count.
