“When planning our wedding for December 6th, 2025, one of the biggest priorities for us was finding a DJ service that fit our budget without sacrificing quality. Complete Weddings Events Albany exceeded those expectations. Their pricing was right on par with what we needed, and their packages were extremely affordable while still offering a high level of service and professionalism. One of the things we found most important throughout the planning process was being able to meet with our DJ in person. Working face-to-face allows couples to build trust, communicate expectations clearly, and make sure the DJ understands the overall tone and flow of the day. DJ Dagger did exactly that for us. He met with us early in the process and multiple times leading up to the wedding, and that personal connection made an enormous difference. By the time our wedding arrived, he knew our personalities, our style, and the atmosphere we wanted. Because of those meetings, everything ran smoothly. The transitions were seamless, the music selections matched us perfectly, and he was fully prepared for every detail. That level of preparation only happens when couples and DJs work closely together well before the wedding date. “Wow! DJ Lou exceeded our expectations! When it came to the reception we didn't have to do a thing but the preparation came months before that. We had an initial planning meeting, he set us up with our own timeline (an app that he created!), we had a follow-up meeting and then a week-of meeting! We felt so ready when the day came but were still so surprised about how much DJ Lou did for us. He was checking to see if we were okay, pulling us away to make sure we were eating, working with our other vendors so seamlessly- our ceremony musicians, our officiant, our family band, and our photographer! Over the course of the 9 months leading up to the wedding I probably had 4 or 5 calls with Thaddeus to give him the general vibe we were looking for & work out details. He was professional, honest, and gave great feedback. We had many specific asks and Thaddeus made sure all of our wants fit into his plan. Once the party was going, we gave Thaddeus the creative freedom to do his thing & make sure our guests had a good time. He totally delivered. We were able to customize and add specific notes to the time line as well. It’s truly a dream for any type A Bride. Besides providing the music, we also chose to use Mikes photobooth service. Our guest were able to take prints home and leave a print in our guest book. It was so nice to be able to look at all the photos and messages that were left by our guests. Within a few days after our wedding Mike also provided us the links to all the photobooth photos. We were unsure about lighting but with Mikes guidance he knew exactly what we needed based on our music choices. We are so grateful for his expertise because it turned out absolutely amazing. Not to mention he came early to set up and ran the whole thing on his own without missing a beat. Truly a 10/10 experience for us. We highly recommend Mike! P.S Our only word of advice…This didn’t affect us in the moment but we did get a lot of feedback from our guests that since we did not have mics our guest could not hear our vows clearly during our ceremony. This is something to consider discussing with Mike if you plan to have him.”

“Steve and his band were INCREDIBLE at our wedding. They were phenomenal at feeling out the energy, keeping the energy up when everyone was on the dance floor, and just playing bangers that our guests of all ages were able to sing to. Truly the classics but enough variety that it wasn’t always overly played songs. Our guests were chanting “one more song” at the end. Before the wedding Steve was so kind and responsive, working with us to make sure he knew the schedule precisely plus the vibe we were going for. We have been raving about them for weeks after the wedding. I hope we have some other opportunity to have them again, but I would highly recommend having Steve and co. make your event memorable. Saratoga Sound is the best of both worlds with their live acoustic music for cocktail hour, and DJ services for the reception, and our guests loved it! The music during the reception was at a good volume for dinner, and Karen even went up to my mom during dinner to check in which my mom really appreciated. They did an amazing job reading the dance floor and keeping the party going until the very end! They finished the night with Love Story which was one of my song requests, but I had not specifically requested it at the end – it ended up being the most perfect end to our wedding and a memory I will never forget. What we loved about Grand Central Station was, consistency ( same band members all the time), professionalism, cost, and references. “The New York Players were the thing our wedding guests talked about the most! Aside from being absolutely fantastic and putting on a great show, the pre-event communication and planning support really made NYP a great band to work with. We didn't really know going into booking what things needed to be considered when booking our event music, and Mike was so helpful for holding our hands through the planning process. Before the event, Mike helped us plan the logistics, met with us to discuss our goals, and gave us an extensive song list to select music from for the night, as well as adding some songs that we love that were not on the list. The attention to detail and level of care put into the band made feel so fun and special, and took a lot of the stress of wedding planning out of the music planning due to the top-notch professionalism. The band really is amazing, the experience was like being at a live concert where all of your favorite bands are playing all of your favorite songs.
