“Working with George Street was such a wonderful experience. They made everything about the process easy and manageable. From our very first conversation with them, they were incredibly friendly and amenable - willing to work with us regarding our budget and offered packages not based on how they could get the most amount of money from us, but on how their packages would help us execute our vision of the perfect wedding. However, where George Street really shines is in their team. We chose Jeremy as our lead photographer and he brought such a joy and passion to the photos that he took. We had chosen a rather unique venue for our engagement session (one without the best lighting to be fair) and he took such care in crafting each shot so that we both looked our best, but also popped against the background. You could tell while he was taking every photo that it was not about getting the next shot and moving on, but that he cared about getting the right shot for you. That kind of care extends to the rest of their team as well. Nora and Emily were incredibly communicative throughout the entire process. They responded to almost every email within 48 hours of sending and anytime we had a question about anything, no matter how small, they were more than happy to walk us through it either via email or by hopping on the phone. Their user portal for creating a wedding plan is also very user-friendly and was helpful in determining important moments to capture during the night as well as the best way to structure our wedding in terms of timeline. In terms of the actual wedding day, we had Mario as an associate photographer and Randy as our videographer in addition to Jeremy. Once again, all three made us feel like we were absolute stars. For Randy in particular, he was seemingly everywhere at once. If there was something happening on the dance floor or a moment of revelry happened anywhere, he somehow captured it. The process of receiving the photos & videos afterward was also much quicker than anticipated and they were stunning. We had such a hard time choosing what photos would go into the album. Overall, this was an incredible team to work with and if we were to do it all again, they would be our first choice.”

“I highly recommend Sound Originals for wedding photography based on the communication, organization, value, and most importantly, the final product. Gabriella was always very responsive and clear in the messages sent via the online portal when we had questions. I was a bit hesitant to book this vendor because I didn’t know anyone who’d used the company before, but I’m glad I did. We were lucky to get paired with Jared as our photographer and immediately felt comfortable with him on our virtual planning call. On the day of our wedding he was prompt and had plenty of ideas ready to go, but he was also very open to any ideas we had. He never made us feel rushed at all as you could tell he wanted to take his time to get the shots right. He was patient when necessary, efficient when necessary and always reminded us to let him know if any poses didn’t feel comfortable or natural. We didn’t have a second shooter but you wouldn’t be able to tell by looking at our photos as Jared managed to get great variety in the angles during the ceremony and reception. The photos are beautiful and we are looking forward to framing a few. We got the sneak peak within 2 weeks and the full photo gallery not too long after that. The only critique I have is that the florist we used was incorrectly tagged on the sneak peak instagram post, and wasn’t corrected even though I reached out via direct message and comment. The flowers were beautiful & the correct florist deserved the credit. Overall, I would definitely work with Sound Originals and Jared in particular again in the future.”

“When we were planning our elopement style wedding day, we were certain we wanted to hire a photographer. However, we were overwhelmed with the confusing packages and high costs until we found Matthew Chambers photography. We highly recommend hiring him for a no-fuss, easy experience. This was our first time hiring a photographer. We liked his simple 3 tiers of service (raw only, partial-service, or full service) and that he charges hourly based on service. The business model just made sense and fit our modest wedding budget. His common-sense pricing made professionally capturing our day accessible. We also liked that he is locally based in Leander and that he has a broad portfolio in case we wanted to re-hire him for future milestones/events. Most of our communication was done electronically via Zola or texting. With our busy schedules, this was preferred to make arrangements. So we met Matthew for the first time on our wedding day! Matthew was delightfully conversational and chatty which made relaxing easier. We loved the mixture of capturing moments “as is” and having him coach us through staged photos. He was very patient with our poor choreography skills. We had more fun with the posed photos than anticipated! Matthew was early to shoot and had a faster than promised turn around on photos. Less than 24 hours for access to raw photos and about 10 days for initially edited photos. While I say this, please note that we had a smaller project and turn around times can vary. The one thing we would do differently is length of booking. My husband and I were CERTAIN 2 hours would be more than enough for our simple nature elopement, but we probably could have booked 3 hours. We got all the shots we agreed upon (and more!), but it was more fun than expected. “The moment” truly goes by quicker than expected. So if you’re unsure, go ahead and book the extra time & savor the moment. Note: we found Matthew via Zola. My bestie recommended that I make a wedding site even though we were eloping. I’m glad I listened! One of the best things out of doing this was the “vendor locator” service on Zola. It connected us to photographers interested in working with us and got us directly messaging them. I read Matthew’s website and just instantly liked him and his work. Thankful he was available for our day! **attached is a sample of a raw vs edited from our day!”

“I did a lot of research to find a wedding photographer. I do a lot of research for everything, but I felt like it was especially important because if I’m paying so much for a wedding, I want all of the details chronicled beautifully so those memories can last forever. It was really important for me that the pictures looked super natural and not overly editted as if I was right back in the moment when I looked at them. Ivory Grove let me look at several of their photographers’ portfolios since I was worried they might have different styles. They were all very similar and beautiful, but I did like Erika’s the most and they set me up with her. Erika took our engagement photos and our wedding photos and she did a PHENOMENAL job. She got every angle of every moment, and a lot of my guests mentioned how impressed they were that she was getting on the ground for some shots, setting up lighting, and orchestrating everyone to make sure I got all the photos I requested. Ivory Grove finished editing the photos she took in only 2 weeks, and the album they sent has sooo many photos in it. I should have known because I got a lot of engagement photos back as well, but I was just blown away by the amount of gorgeous photos they gave me. It’s also so easy for me to download them onto my phone or computer. The investment was well worth it, but also they were more affordable than a lot of other photographers I’d looked into! “If you're looking for the photographer to capture all the love and joy you feel with your special person, I'm here to tell you, this is it. You found him. Does the idea of spending thousands of dollars for wedding photos scare you, because you can't see the photos right away, no refunds, no exchanges, no returns, and no do-overs, you are not alone. Do the scary thing. Invest your money on a photographer, but make sure you book Jason Rhee. I had a visual aesthetic in mind, but I also wasnt sure how to describe it. As a hobby photographer who mostly takes pictures of her dogs, or snaps pretty scenery and yummy food on vacation, I didnt know how to find to find somebody to capture our special day with the same romantic, yet slightly silly POV. I follow David Suh on IG, because he makes it look fun and easy to get photos you can proudly display, but we couldnt afford to fly him out for our wedding. We wanted somebody who gave similar energy. Instead, I spent hours on Google, Zola, Wedding Wire, the Knot, Reddit, Instagram, and reached out to Facebook groups like Subtle Asian Weddings and Ologies for inspiration. After weeks of pouring through lists of local photographers, reading price packages, scouring albums/portfolios/pages trying to find examples to describe the aesthetic I was looking for, and looking for photographers who evoke the same emotion, I found Jason Rhee. We set up a meeting, he passed the vibe check with flying colors. We had 6 months to plan our reception. We were on a budget. We needed somebody familiar with photographing not one, but three dogs at a wedding. We had an intimate (under 40ppl) wedding, with a LOT of camera-shy introverts (ourselves included!), and we wanted to get amazing pictures but have no experience posing in front of the camera. Where do we put our hands? What is our best angle? Is there enough light at the venue? Should I be serious, serene, or laughing? Don't worry, book Jason Rhee. Jason made the process of working together very easy and it felt like a true collaboration. He helped us plan within our budget. He was as invested as we were in creating our timeline, ensuring we had time for the photos we wanted, and understanding our wedding photography priorities. He provided prompts!!! He also coordinated with our videographer. Everything was clearly outlined in the contract. Our teaser album was done about two weeks after the reception (rest of the album should be done in another two weeks, which is amazing turnaround time considering the hundreds if not thousands of photos taken that day) I’ve always been self-conscious in front of a camera, but Jason was the best at boosting my confidence and posing us in a way that felt natural and look beautiful. We had many laughs along the way. Sadly, one of pups passed shortly before the big day, so we had to make it through one of the saddest months, alongside the chaos of planning our big day. Jason navigated it all with grace and went the extra mile to make sure we got all the photos we were hoping for. We got so many compliments (both during and after the wedding) from friends and family.”
