Welcome to the page of whimsy, color, and texture! When I say we want to "create events as vibrant as you", what I mean is that we want people to walk into your wedding and feel that it is "so you". Our style can be quirky and offbeat at times, such as creating florals for hobbit or haunted disco themes. Our style can also be focused on making a wedding look as wild and organic as possible. Either way the wedding day is about joy and celebration. We design for our florals in some way to bring levity and evoke feeling through the day. Most of our weddings serviced are in Colorado's Front Range and the Tampa Bay area of Florida.

Working with Vibrant Hues Events was such a pleasure from start to finish. Tatyana’s communication was timely and organized throughout the planning process, which made everything feel effortless. The hand-painted flowers she created for our Portugal-themed wedding were absolutely stunning. You could see the care and time invested in each piece, and they became the perfect focal point of our celebration. What impressed me most was how intentionally she approached the vision, delivering work that felt both simple and colorful while exceeding expectations. She truly understood how to capture the theme through her designs, and I couldn't have imagined our shoot without her creative touch.

Megan Guerrie embraces the wild, beautiful challenge of combining just the right amount of fun, texture and color in her work. She takes inspiration from her wanderlust for distant cities, the Dutch masters paintings, and her clients personalities. “There is always something catching my eye when I wander outside. I’m endlessly entertained by the shapes and colors growing in our changing landscape.” Talk flowers to me!

Megan was absolutely amazing! My mom had such a wild vision for the florals, as she said it was the most important part of the wedding, and Megan made it all come to life. Everything about the flowers were gorgeous! She was patient with my mom and listening to her vision and was very helpful in communicating with me near the day of the wedding. After my wedding, I also wanted to donate the flowers to a nursing home. Megan ended up finding some and donating them for me! She was truly great throughout the whole process and my wedding was so gorgeous because of her. I would 100% recommend!!!

We absolutely loved working with Sabia at Painted Primrose! She made the entire floral process so easy and enjoyable. One thing I especially loved was the way she organizes her flower "menu" and clearly breaks down exactly what you're getting. It made it so much easier to understand our options and build something that fit both our vision and our budget. Sabia was incredibly helpful with suggestions and never made us feel pressured to spend more. She worked with our budget and helped us figure out where to prioritize, which we really appreciated. The flowers turned out beautiful and were exactly what we wanted. Sabia was also so thoughtful about the little details—she even put the boutonnieres on the groomsmen herself! She was amazing to work with throughout the entire process, and we would absolutely recommend Painted Primrose to other couples.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.8 (100 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Louisville, CO

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
We were on a strict budget for our wedding. I knew that florals would be the best way to save on some of the huge wedding costs. I found out about Flower Moxie from googling where I would get wholesale flowers. I was immediately hooked once I saw the flower options, tutorials, and worksheets to help plan out my special day. I am very big on organization, and this website had resources for every step of the way. I found the perfect combination of flowers for my boho wedding. I ordered the flowers about 2 months before our big day. It was a destination wedding, so I was checking into our airbnb on the day the flowers were arriving. I had them scheduled to be delivered at the Fedex holding center near by. I thought the company only used Fedex shipping based on my research. I went into full panic mode when I saw the flowers had been shipped by UPS. I immediately called UPS and Fedex, and to be honest I was stunned at the behavior on the other side of the phone. The flowers were still in transit, and no one would help me with rerouting. I called Flower Moxie to see if they could change things on their side as they were the sender. Luis answered the phone and it felt like I finally had someone looking out for me. I had already spent 4 hours on the phone with the shipping companies and gotten nowhere. Luis said he was on it and not to worry. I ordered enough flowers for 18 centerpieces, 70 bud vases, 8 bouquets, and 1 flower arch. Needless to say, it was quite the ordeal to reroute everything. Over the next 48 hours, Luis kept in constant contact with me about the progress of the shipment. I know I was on the phone for at least 6 hours with this ordeal, and I wouldn't be surprised if he had spent about 15 hours talking to UPS, Fedex, florists, and customs to get me my flowers. He made me feel calm and taken care of. Everyone was coming to me with questions and concerns the entire wedding week, and I can't express how it felt to have someone have my back, and take an extremely big tasks off my plate. I would absolutely recommend this company for DIY brides. And I hope this review is seen by Flower Moxie to highlight an outstanding employee with excellent customer service. In an age when it takes time and multiple attempts in order to talk to a person on the phone, I am so appreciative of the effort that was given by Luis for my wedding day. He made me feel like it was an important event for him too. Thank you Luis for making my wedding dreams come true! My sister also mentioned you in her MOH wedding speech. We were all impressed :)

The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

I cannot reccomend Kat enough. A coworker relationship turned into friendship that FLOURISHED into her making my floral dreams for my wedding come to absolute life. She is so talented, knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. I showed her pictures and she ran with it. Her dedication to her clients doesn’t go unnoticed at all. When my vendor who made our faux flowers showed up late and the guys bouts looked like absolute trash, she took the time (because she had leftovers from what she made) to go make 3 other bouts so that our dream came true. Her dedication to sustainability is top notch! I am so happy I chose her to be our florist! Her partner Marissa- though we didn’t use her for our wedding, I have inquired with her for cupcakes before. She has the best ideas for cupcakes and is so so friendly! As a team their day of coordination is top notch. They are the REAL DEAL! Make sure to hire them for you big day. You won’t regret it!

As a bride, I did find myself wanting a little more communication throughout the planning process. As my wedding day got closer, my anxiety increased, and I personally would have appreciated more updates and communication along the way. I don’t mean that negatively—it was simply something that would have helped me feel more comfortable and confident. I shared my Pinterest board and vision with them, and I believe they brought several of my ideas to life beautifully. I did found myself wanting some different details at the reception that i thought we discussed, although I understand this may have been influenced by my budget and what I was able to afford. Overall, I received so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful everything looked. I especially loved the florals they created for my bouquet. I honestly wish I could have afforded to incorporate more of those same flowers throughout the reception because they were absolutely beautiful! They created my bouquet and my family’s boutonnieres for our elopement ceremony in Moab, Utah, and they were gorgeous. They even helped me figure out how to travel with the flowers for 6–7 hours, which I really appreciated. They also provided eucalyptus leaves throughout our wedding reception in Akron. I have attached pictures from both events. One thing I would recommend discussing ahead of time is availability on the actual wedding day. These ladies took on my wedding as well as another wedding that same weekend and had already committed to being present at the other wedding. They were still able to organize the florals and decorations for my wedding, which I greatly appreciated, but they were not able to be at my reception. I knew and agreed to this ahead of time, so it was not unexpected; however, there were a few things I feel may have gone more smoothly if they had been able to be there personally. There was also a lot happening for them that weekend, and I am genuinely grateful they were still able to help with so many aspects of our wedding. I loved how excited and invested they were in making our day special. One area that was difficult for me was cleanup the following day. We were asked to organize and separate the different pieces that belonged to them, but I found the process confusing, which added stress during an already emotional and exhausting time. Overall, I would absolutely recommend working with these wonderful ladies! My biggest advice for future brides would be to communicate exactly what you envision, ask questions, and don’t be afraid to share your feelings or concerns throughout the planning process. I would also recommend discussing pricing in detail and making sure you understand the cost of everything you want included, as wedding expenses can add up very quickly. Despite some of the challenges, I truly appreciated their creativity, excitement, and willingness to help make our wedding days special. I am thankful for the beautiful florals and decorations they provided.

Katie was amazing to work with! She helped tailor our flowers to keep within our budget, and they came out AMAZING. I'm so happy I get to keep them as an amazing keepsake. Everyone at the wedding was floored that they were paper and not real. And having quotes from our favorite books to look at all day was just a memorable experience.

Hi! My name is Ysabella and I have been in the florist industry for 4 years now. I started out of my small shop and have grown into doing mostly weddings and events. I love working with brides and helping them turn their vision into reality! Every wedding is so unique and truly different, these small differences are what I believe makes each wedding stand out and what I am here for!

I was absolutely blown away by my wedding florals provided by Lady Bird Lusk! They were so beautiful and completely exceeded my expectations in every way! My only regret is not preserving my bouquet after the wedding so I could keep it forever. From the first time I talked to Ysabella on the phone it was clear she understood my vision and was able to make a mood board for me that was exactly what I had in mind. She was willing to do a few calls with me over the year of planning as I wanted to change and add things. She helped me think through how to make a large brick wall behind our head table more beautiful since it would be a focal point. She had the idea of trying out a floral frame over the table along with the string lights and hanging greenery that I wanted on the wall. I actually didn't know what to except and when I saw it I was truly in love with how stunning it looked. All of the bud vase florals were clearly so carefully hand picked and unique. The Arch at our ceremony was also stunning and matched our moody vibe perfectly. What makes it even better is Lady Bird Lusk was about half as expensive as some of the other quotes I received for flowers! She really is absolutely amazing at making your vision come to life and making it better than you even envisioned. Plus she's so sweet and fun to work with. Highly reccommend!
