He is outstanding—a true artist in his craft. It’s so clear that he’s not only dedicated to his profession but also deeply loves what he does. We gave DJ Shyne what we thought was an impossible challenge: blend pop hits, Spanish tunes, emo throwbacks, Disney jams, booty-shaking hip hop, and a long list of theme songs from our favorite TV shows and movies (everything from The White Lotus to Saw). On top of that, we added a handful of random, deeply personal songs you’d never expect at a wedding. What happened? Not only did he execute this perfectly, but he became the catalyst for a wedding that felt curated exactly to US—spinning a history of us both as individuals and our journey together woven into a seamless soundtrack. His mixing was unique, unexpected, and so much fun. As the bride, there was no place I wanted to be except on that dance floor. Our guests went wild. Compliments poured in all night and days after. We got so many texts like, “BROOO your DJ?! ” that we started to lose count. But it wasn’t just about the music. From the very first Zoom, DJ Shyne radiated charisma and professionalism. He carried that positive energy into every planning meeting and right through the reception—he even gave our speakers personal pep talks before their toasts! And when it came to group dances, he did something I’ve never seen: he stepped onto the dance floor, mic in hand, and taught the moves live. Towards the end of the Cha Cha Slide, he started teaching the crowd the moves to the Cupid Shuffle so by the time it started they were already doing it!!! No confusion, no awkward guessing, just pure joy and inclusion. He quickly became the vendor we looked forward to meeting with most. We ended each Zoom call feeling assured, uplifted, and excited about the possibilities. Out of everyone we worked with, he was the best. It does not get better than DJ Shyne. “Justing was a fantastic DJ! We gave him a short list of must-plays then let him do the rest, and he was great at reading the room and playing what the people wanted. He took requests from guests if they fit the vibe and was totally okay saying no too which is exactly what we wanted. We even had some guests asking for his playlist before the night was over. He brought tons of speakers and lights, and even some wireless speakers to play the same music in multiple rooms, including outside on the deck for cocktail hour. Everything went off without a hitch. We also got the photo booth add-on which ended up getting a ton of use and people loved it. Sawyer was manning the booth and 5 stars to him as well!”

“What can I say about Jay besides "WOW". I had wonderful service from all of my vendors and still, I was blown away by the service given to us by Jay. Instead of just providing us with music on our wedding night, he made sure to build a relationship with us and cater every aspect of his services solely to us. Meeting with him made it feel like you were the only client he was working with and he really made you feel cared for and appreciated. He was wonderful during covid, working with us to move our date seamlessly, and met with us multiple times to create a custom first dance song, complete with private interviews with my husband and me that was a surprise to hear for both of our guests and us as a couple. People told us they teared up at our first dance and that it was the best first dance they had ever seen because of the wonderful work Jay did. He stepped up and performed duties that weren't even required of him, like making sure we stuck to our timeline and got announcements that needed to be made to our guests. “I can’t even begin to thank the team at Black Diamond for making our wedding night so incredible. David and Mike on DJ and Tim on sax were absolutely amazing from start to finish. The energy was SO high, and they paid attention to every little detail, which made such a difference on our special night. Leading up to the wedding, our meetings with David were always so great. He was so easy to talk to, incredibly organized, and asked us every question to make sure he understood exactly what we wanted. He had our entire list of songs, our wedding party names, and all of the little details we had discussed. You could truly tell how much he cared about making our night perfect. One moment that really stood out to me was when David came up to me during the reception to ask if I wanted a song that a guest had requested to be played. That small gesture showed just how professional and thoughtful he was. He wanted to make sure the music stayed exactly what we envisioned, while still making sure everyone was having the best time. So many of our guests came up to us throughout the night and told us how incredible our DJ crew was. David & Mike kept the energy going all night, and Tim on sax was AMAZING and brought an entirely different level of energy to the dance floor. Every song, every transition, and every moment felt exactly like us. We seriously wish we could relive this night over and over again. You helped make our wedding everything we dreamed it would be, and we are so grateful. Thank you, Black Diamond team, for giving us the BEST night!”

“HiMotive Entertainment & Photobooth was amazing to work with for our wedding. They had great communication - it was easy to coordinate with them through their app and they always replied to our texts quickly. On the day of, their DJ played a wonderful variety of songs that kept our dance floor packed all night. The song selections were perfect and the lights really added to the fun, lively atmosphere. Our DJ was especially great, even dancing some merengue with one of our guests! We couldn't have asked for a better entertainment team to make our wedding celebration so special.”

“DJ Grayson and Get Down Entertainment were easy to work with and very communicative! Grayson was very helpful in our initial conversations as well as the couple weeks leading up the wedding. He did a great job running our ceremony AV and reception! He kept the mood fun and it seemed like everyone really enjoyed the music - including us of course :) He also was able to be flexible with last minute changes (communicating with us about them) even though he did a good job with planning ahead as well. We were very happy that he played the songs we asked him to as well. We definitely recommend DJ Grayson from Get Down Entertainment!”

“We had Daniel as our DJ for our wedding last week, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better. From the very beginning, he was so easy to work with — relaxed, professional, and incredibly organized. His music platform made it simple for us to curate our ideal wedding playlist, and he took the time to really understand our vision — what we loved, what we didn’t, and the overall vibe we wanted for the day. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Daniel was so communicative and made sure we felt completely comfortable and confident before the big day. He even provided microphones for our ceremony (even though we had a string quartet for our ceremony and cocktail hour) and had the perfect lighting setup for the dance floor, which added so much energy to the night. And when it came time to dance — the dance floor was packed all night long. He read the crowd perfectly, kept the momentum going, and played music that truly reflected us. “In today's world everything is extremely overpriced and service is terrible. My wedding was very stressful for me because of this. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! I really hate to admit but I'm not easily pleased however I would put my name on the line for DJ Double E after how they made my wedding. DJ Double E exceeded all my and my husband's expectations and -consider yourself lucky if you hire them for any event. I'll be calling them again!!!”
