Bloom and Grow Floral Design
Rating: 5.0 (26 reviews)
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Monroeville, PA

As a life-long flower fanatic and nature enthusiast, a career in the floral industry always sounded like a dream job to me. That dream bloomed into a reality in 2018, when I left my bland corporate job to pursue a full-time career as a floral designer. Since then, I've been knee-deep in flowers, and I would not have it any other way! Bloom and Grow is the physical manifestation of my love for all things floral. Thank you for being here!!

“I had an excellent experience working with Bloom and Grow Floral Design. Lily is a talented florist while being professional and efficient!! She met my budget and not only was I obsessed with my wedding florals, many of my guests commented on what a great job she did! She did 2 meadows (stunning) bouqets, bud vases, welcome floral and boutonniere. Her natural style is described as Garden Style, many different blooms, but I'm sure she could do any style you would want if you briefed her. My bouquet was pretty from all sides I didn't know which way to hold it, I rotated it throughout the day :) When I sold my floral pedestals on FB even strangers said how beautiful they were from the photos. In my case the florals were modern effortless chic and beautiful- not heavy, dated, formal like other styles can be. I do have a bit of vintage inspiration but mixed with modern and fresh- thanks to Lily helping achieve this! We did have the meadows on the pedestals for a more formal look that I loved as well. Lily listened and met my budget which stood out, since I had other florists waste my time with 30 min calls then sent quotes 2X my clearly-stated budget- they were not listening. Next! She asked great questions in our initial call, like what flowers I DIDN’T like, that stood out as a very smart question. As a designer myself I can be particular too. She was patient, open to email communication throughout, and guided me with her professionalism, even helping me with my candle layout to achieve my goal of a beautiful tablescape! Lily understood the position of the bride in the overall craziness wedding planning process, and reduced stress rather than added to it- again a standout among other vendors. I'd recommend Lily to any couple looking for a talented, professional florist who listens, understands her customers (so rare these days!) and delivers on what you ask for, and treats your wedding like it matters. Thank you Lily!!!”

Bramble & Blossom
Rating: 4.8 (21 reviews)
·Ratings include Zola and Google reviews
  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Monroeville, PA

Bramble & Blossom is a Pittsburgh wedding floral design studio creating artful, seasonal flowers for celebrations throughout Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania. Our style is natural, garden-inspired and a little wild around the edges, with abundant seasonal flowers, unexpected color combinations and beautiful movement. Owner and lead designer Jessica Stewart has been designing wedding flowers since 2011. We offer both Full-Service Wedding Floral Design and À La Carte Wedding Flowers, giving couples two ways to bring the Bramble & Blossom style to their celebration.

“Jessica and her team truly made my wedding magical. Sustainability and ethical sourcing were a priority for us and Jessica provided all US grown flowers. She even sourced vegetables from local farmers to use in the tablescapes that we and our guests took home and has meals made from them for the next couple of weeks! But the real magic was the colors she picked out. I wanted a very colorful, jewel toned world at my wedding and Jessica found flowers that both matched that aesthetic and complimented the whole medieval vibe of the theme. Her team also showed amazing flexibility when our ceremony location was changed at the last minute due to rain. Instead of decorating an archway they were decorating a completely different space with pillars, but they made it work and everything was ready on time. I’ve loved Jessica’s work so much that I’ve gone on to order flowers for other occasions. She did the flowers for my daughter’s first birthday which was Enchanted Forest themed and most recently my husband picked up a Valentine’s Day arrangement from her shop. All of the flowers and arrangements have been top quality and beyond beautiful. Jessica is easy to work with, friendly, and knowledgeable. You really can’t go wrong with Bramble and Blossom.”

Gwen is the founder and head floral designer. She developed a love for flowers through family gardening and carried with her her whole life. With a history working for over 10 years as an event and meeting planner in the non-profit world Gwen learned how to work with Pittsburgh vendors and source locally. In this latest chapter of her life she’s spent countless hours attending workshops, attending lectures, reading floral books, and honing her design skills always looking to learn new things. Gwen supplements her designs year round with flowers and greens that she grows from her own garden like peony, dahlia, and hydrangea.

“Sugar Flowers and Leaves Floral Design was a standout vendor for our wedding. From the start, Gwen and her team provided prompt, detailed responses that showed their expertise and passion for their craft. Their proposal captured our vision perfectly, and the final floral design executed on the wedding day was nothing short of amazing. Gwen and her team were able to immediately understand the look and feel we wanted and then brought it to life in innovative and breathtaking ways. All of our guests were in awe of the beautiful, one-of-a-kind floral arrangements that truly made the day magical. We have worked with most local wedding vendors and have executed beautiful weddings at almost all of the wedding and event venues in Pittsburgh.

“We worked with Jim Ludwig's Blumengarten Florist for our wedding and had such a smooth experience from start to finish. Sherry was incredibly responsive throughout the planning process and always kept us in the loop, even when she needed to find an answer. She took the Pinterest inspiration we shared and turned it into real arrangements that looked exactly how we imagined them. The flowers stayed fresh and gorgeous the entire weekend, and we loved having the option to rent candles through them in different vases and heights. What really stood out was how Sherry and her team worked with us to keep everything within budget without cutting corners. We couldn't have asked for a better florist to help bring our vision to life.”

Holly Hanna Floral
Rating: 5.0 (5 reviews)
  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Monroeville, PA

Hi, Holly here! Floral design is simply in my nature. I’ve been sharing my passion for flowers with my hometown of Pittsburgh and surrounding areas since 2016, and have created designs for countless weddings, special events, and celebrations. Ever since I was a young girl, I’ve always felt the most at home outside, in nature, around all the flowers. They bring so much joy and beauty to our everyday moments, and are the living furnishings that frame some of life’s most important celebrations. My world of floral creation is yours to explore, to have at the center of your wedding day design, and to hold close for each anticipated moment.

“When I started my wedding planning process I knew I wanted my florals to be a main decorative part of my wedding. I love flowers, I love floral displays. After reaching out and talking to Holly I was sold. We had a phone call meeting, and I could've spoken to her for an hour as a friend. I bounced all my ideas off of her, even the crazy ones, and she worked along perfectly with it and made it into something so beautiful. I wanted a large display on the willow tree I was getting married in front of, and when I say she went above and beyond doing so, I. WAS. BLOWN. AWAY. (pictured below). Utter perfection. I trusted her wholeheartedly and was amazed out with the outcome. The only way I can describe the perfection is to actually show you. Her work speaks her itself. Aside from her beautiful work, I never once felt neglected in the planning process. Holly was always in touch, always ready to answer questions, and always the sweetest. I am forever thankful she got to play such a big part in my day.”

They were flexible the entire process with my quote and what exactly I was getting right up until the wedding, and were very accommodating with my budget (which I ended up expanding because the flowers were just too perfect). My name is Leah, I am the owner and operator of Fox Tail Blooms. We offer Faux and Dried floral designs only. We provide quality and premium florals to give you the most realistic look possible at half the cost of fresh. The best part about choosing faux/dried/preserved is that they will last you as long as your memories. No extra cost for preserving your bouquets. Choosing faux also offers more unique options when it comes to colors, and if you're dreaming of an elaborate design, choosing faux will provide the budget friendly way to go big! If you're looking for a sustainable option, this is your sign to go faux!

“Working with Leah at Fox Tail Blooms was a dream. If you have no idea where to start on your wedding florals Leah expertly guides you so that you can have as much or as little involvement as you would like through the entire process. Her enthusiasm for what she does makes the creation of your wedding florals even more enjoyable and special. Leah’s whole process was done remotely and she would send photos of the pieces during the few weeks leading up to the wedding. I would highly recommend using faux for at least part of your wedding florals because it saves so much money and you aren’t stuck with tons of fresh arrangements that die quickly post-wedding. Leah offers such reasonable pricing. I had such a great experience with Fox Tail Blooms.”

Congratulations to all the beautiful brides! These have been trying times to say the least. Life still goes on and like you, I was planning a wedding in the midst of it all. Throughout my process of trying to find vendors and all the things that come with every bride-to-be's well deserved special day, I was shocked at the cost of everything. I am a huge DIY fan if its doable. I do know, however, that not everyone is in a position to go that route so I started my own company dedicated to providing custom, high quality bouquets and other floral and misc wedding decor. No bride should have to sacrifice beautiful flowers on their big day.

“Absolutely amazing! They showed up early and decorated the entire venue, including the ceremony aisle and all the details in between. I couldn’t have asked for a better florist!!”

She quite literally designed these florals for our wedding from the ground up. I had no idea where to start and she let her amazing ideas flow. We met and she so easily was able to suggest the perfect look. It felt like Tara knew what I wanted before I even did and man did she deliver! It was a flawless experience from start to finish. We were going for burgundy & navy wedding colors. There was a beautiful burgundy dahlia is asked about for my bridal bouquet and she wasn’t sure if she could get it around my wedding date. It wasn’t that big of a deal, but what did she do?! She surprised me and she freaking grew them herself!! My mind was blown. The level of service and commitment she has is unmatched. I could sing her praises all day just please trust me on this, you want, no you NEED Tara and Violet Street Florist for any and all of your floral arrangements!! We buy her flowers regularly and I’m so so soooo thankful she helped create such a magical wedding for us. We will never go anywhere else because we feel like it doesn’t get better than her. “I was initially very skeptical of online flower rental companies, but we are SO THRILLED and grateful for using SBB. Something Borrowed Blooms proved to be responsive and solution-focused, addressing every question we had with speed and clarity. As a summer wedding on Cape Cod we met with some traditional florists and initially received a quote of 7k for real florals! SBB worked with us to create the same stunning look using their silk blooms for just 2k, saving us thousands of dollars without sacrificing beauty and quality! The quality blew us away; our guests were genuinely shocked to learn the flowers weren't real when we told them! The Charlotte Collection was the perfect fit for our vision, and the blooms arrived early in incredible condition. We also used the Mostest package add on for day of coordination and handling the boxes and set up of the flowers. We honestly didn't have to worry about a thing from start to finish, and their easy return process gave us complete peace of mind. Something Borrowed Blooms is a game-changer if you want gorgeous florals that won't drain your budget!!”

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (108 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Monroeville, PA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
“We had an amazingly positive experience working with Flower Moxie for my daughter’s July wedding. We placed our order in February using their “How Much Should I Buy” worksheet as a guide. Their website is filled with images and videos to help you make your choices. We went with the Sweet Wildflower bridal bouquet and 4 bridesmaid bouquets and then ordered a Build Your Own Wildflower Mixed Box and Build Your Own Spray Rose Mixed Box to DIY bud vases all for just over 900! In June we decided we wanted more bud vases for our dining tables than we had originally planned to have. I spoke with Maria who helped me add more of what I’d order to meet my needs. Cost was about 150. Not knowing really what to expect, I added 4 premade centerpieces just to have which cost 280. This was SO much more cost effective than trying to work with local florists or deal with wooden flower options. The only issue we had was a UPS issue. The flowers were coming directly from a farm in Ecuador and tracking numbers showed they were held up in Miami waiting for government release. Once released, we were able to see their travels. The flower boxes ended up being delayed by 1 day. The flowers should have arrived on a Thursday for a Sunday wedding. Delivery moved to Friday. Every worried email I sent was responded to immediately by Flower Moxie. They were tracking my order, too, and were on top of it. Once they arrived, we followed the specific directions the company sends out. I have photos of the stages of hydration, watching the blooms get more and more gorgeous as the hours passed. The bridal party put the 72 bud vases together on Saturday in the hotel conference room near the wedding venue. The bridal bouquets were perfect needing nothing but trimming of the stems and wrapping stems with ribbon we had purchased. I would highly recommend working with Flower Moxie, especially if you are looking to support small business, enjoy having the option to be a little hands on (though you don’t have to choose this option), and want to save on the cost of your florals. I plan to use them in the future if the need arises.”

Proud Cat & Dog Mom // Your New Wedding Vendor BFF It’s never been just about pretty flowers to me. I started out in social work because I wanted to serve and connect with others. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

“Misha has a calling in life and it is 100% creating the most stunning floral arrangements. Multiple people actually asked if we got married in a botanical garden—that's how incredible everything looked! When I first spoke with Mia - I knew she completely got my not very clear general idea because everything she talked about aligned with my vision: a wedding that felt like an explosion of spring flowers. Although I didn’t book her immediately due to a big move, I was lucky she was still available when I circled back a few months later. One of the things I loved most about working with Misha was how easy it was to communicate. I didn’t know the names of specific flowers, but I knew the 9 colors I wanted in the wedding —and Misha got it exactly right. When I saw my bouquet on the wedding day, I actually teared up. It was perfect. Every arrangement looked incredible. If I could, I’d have my whole house decorated in her flowers forever. It was everything I dreamed of. Misha is also a phenomenal vendor to work with—she’s kind, warm, communicative, and thoughtful. She checked in during the week-of and made everything feel effortless and exciting. I truly couldn’t have picked a better florist. If you’re considering booking her—do it. You’ll be endlessly grateful you did.”

Floral Eden is an East Coast floral décor and production company creating weddings and events that feel beautiful, intentional, and completely personal. We handle everything from personal flowers and centerpieces to ceremony installations, reception décor, styling, setup, repurposing, and breakdown. Our goal is to make the whole space feel connected, not like a bunch of separate floral pieces. We love taking a couple’s ideas, Pinterest boards, random screenshots, and “I don’t really know how to explain it” moments and turning them into something that actually feels like them.

“The Floral Eden brought our wedding vision to life in ways we didn't even expect. From our first conversation, the team responded to every question and concern right away, and they truly understood what we wanted for our big day. They created the most stunning centerpieces that sat on each table, and candles were placed throughout the venue to set the perfect mood. When we walked into our reception, the combination of florals and candlelight made everything feel absolutely magical and romantic. The quality of their work was exceptional, and we felt like we got incredible value for what they delivered. We can't recommend The Floral Eden highly enough to any couple planning their wedding.”
