Bramble & Blossom is a Pittsburgh wedding floral design studio creating artful, seasonal flowers for celebrations throughout Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania. Our style is natural, garden-inspired and a little wild around the edges, with abundant seasonal flowers, unexpected color combinations and beautiful movement. Owner and lead designer Jessica Stewart has been designing wedding flowers since 2011. Gwen is the founder and head floral designer. She developed a love for flowers through family gardening and carried with her her whole life. With a history working for over 10 years as an event and meeting planner in the non-profit world Gwen learned how to work with Pittsburgh vendors and source locally. In this latest chapter of her life she’s spent countless hours attending workshops, attending lectures, reading floral books, and honing her design skills always looking to learn new things. Gwen supplements her designs year round with flowers and greens that she grows from her own garden like peony, dahlia, and hydrangea.

Flowers by Shira offers intentionally designed florals for weddings, events, and life’s little moments, always using local flowers grown in the Pittsburgh area. My wedding services are a la carte. You order what you need, choose from one of the color palettes, and leave the rest to me. I got started with floral design for my own wedding. I kept going because I just couldn’t be without flowers. As an art school grad and database admin, I use color theory and spreadsheets to bring the beautiful details of your events to life without the headache for you. I can’t wait to work with you!
