She took my original idea and brought it to life with amazing detail, creativity And style only an expert with artistic talent would be able to bring that would make any bride envious. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

“From the moment I said yes, I knew florals would be the highlight of decor for our wedding day. Flowers hold such sentimental value for me because I’d spend my springs planting hundreds of annuals with my baba: zinnias, dahlias, snapdragons, marigolds, begonias, etc. Going to my grandparents house was like going to a magical flower garden, and I wanted to recreate that feeling for our guests. After seeing Misha’s previous floral designs, I knew she would be able to bring what I had in mind to life; she did that and then some. The florals she lined my aisle with were exactly what I pictured: lush, whimsical, fun and filled with purples, oranges and greens. Those florals were then repurposed as centerpieces in the main reception tent and somehow became even more mystical underneath that lighting. On our way to the tent, we were amazed at the flowers on the seating chart wall. Dahlias and snapdragons, two of my absolute favorites… in colors that left me feeling the moody, romantic vibe I wanted and had described in design meetings with Misha leading up to the day. The flowers that adorned the tent’s entrance and up the poles created the most magical atmosphere. Sitting at our sweetheart table, we were surrounded by more florals that were repurposed from the ceremony; this time I believe from the gazebo, one of the most sentimental pieces of the day. Our reception tent really felt like a magical flower garden filled with our favorite people; exactly what we wanted for our wedding day.”

“Brittany did an amazing job with our wedding flowers! During our first phonecall, I told her I was aiming for a fairy garden vibe, and I described the color palette. And as soon as she sent me her proposal a few days later, I knew she was the right fit for us! She really understood exactly what I was envisioning, and she came up with a few different options. Communication was also easy. Brittany is responsive and I felt confident that we had all our bases covered and every detail was well planned. On our wedding day, the flowers were simply stunning! She was even able to repurpose the floral arch after the ceremony, and move it to the reception hall. “I had the absolute best experience with The Faux Bouquets. The flowers were absolutely stunning for my wedding. The owner, Brittany, was so kind and even called me to make sure my wedding wouldn't be affected by Hurricane Helene. Thankfully, my area was not affected, but I just really felt that was a special kindness that needs to be called out. But again, the quality of the bouquets, micro sprays and greenery was so great and photographed so well! “Cascade Queens is the perfect florist if you’re looking into using wooden faux flowers! Dana was absolutely amazing to work with. I appreciated how she was so organized, informative, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. She regularly kept me updated on different promotions to help us stay within budget, which I really appreciated. One of the coolest parts of this experience was being able to choose my own color scheme and she designed the flowers exactly how I envisioned them. I highly recommend checking out their reference photos on Instagram or Facebook, because it really helped me get a sense of the floral styles I liked.
