“Jenna the dj kept the party hopping all night! She literally was so great in ensuring the guests were kept in the loop the entire night. The couple loved x files and she was made aware and went out of her way to play the x files theme song as a surprise for them. Also, there was an inside joke with a cardboard cutout of Danny Devito. When they did a couples dance she even joked about how if someone didn’t have a partner they could dance with Danny. She was very personable and even helped clear plates in her free time. In addition, there was an issue where the hired officiant didn’t show up on time. I called Live Events as a back up and the owner Dennis told me he was an hour and a half away at another wedding but would come immediately. He rushed to our aid even when I told him the other officiant finally showed up. He showed up ready to help in any way he could. This company is top notch in all they do. Professional, polite, friendly, fun and ready to exceed your expectations. The only mistake you could make on your wedding day would be not hiring them.”

It was a super hot summer day and we had him move to 4 locations for ceremony, cocktail hour, second ceremony, and reception (only indoor spot), and there was no lapse in music playing or delays. He conquered a tough challenge with that! Victor is extremely flexible to where the guest can create the entire playlist to their desire, or have no part in it and just relax and coast and let Victor do the work! The Photobooth addition is an absolute must-add, and really added another dimension for wedding guests, at an affordable price! “We don’t even know where to start with this review! From the start, Ben and his team took our and our family’s questions about how to approach our wedding. With half of our family being Latino, it took some time to find the right fit in the area. We wanted a good mix where the entire room could have fun and feel included. Ben absolutely nailed it day of. We’ve heard from multiple guests how they’ve never seen a wedding dance floor full for the whole wedding like at ours and how there was music for everyone. Aside from that, Summit invested time in us before the wedding through multiple planning calls and their awesome app where we can slowly build out our event with preferences. “If we could give The Hook Club more stars, we would! Let me get my one gripe out of the way at the top here: I’m pretty sure the only reason my now husband agreed to a wedding celebration was to hire The Hook Club after seeing them at a friend’s wedding before we met. It was the only part of the wedding planning process he felt truly passionate about from the jump – we knew we wanted them before we even had a venue or date and went so far as to clear our potential dates with them before booking anything else. Fast forward, and Dan made the band planning process so supported and seamless that my husband’s one job went off without a hitch. The problem? Despite me planning every other single little detail of our three-day wedding weekend, the first thing that every single guest complimented (and still raves above, 1 month later) was THE BAND! But in truth, we wouldn’t have it any other way. We are absolutely ecstatic with our choice of hiring The Hook Club for our wedding. We did acoustic guitars for the ceremony, sax and tracks for cocktail and band and DJ for reception. THC was outstanding to work with from the jump. Dan is a wealth of knowledge and organization, and brings a calm, cool, collected vibe through every step of the planning process. Not to mention, he’s a great musician who can come discuss timeline with you while also playing the base day of :D. The process THC uses to help plan is smooth and clear. The communication was great throughout – we knew what to expect from the first planning call all the way up to some adhoc timeline changes day of. The band has an extensive repertoire and was able to take in our song, vibe, and timeline requests while also using their extensive experience to guide us along the way. The music carried the vibe throughout the day – from guitars at the ceremony to sax and tracks leading through cocktail hour and a mix of dance sets, slow dances, and expert MC’ing on the dance floor, we couldn’t get enough. So much so, that we extended the end time of the event just to have more fun on the dance floor with THC! Everyone was so nice, supportive, energetic and just brought their outstandingly talented A game and the absolute best vibe. The band got out on the dance floor with us, led us in call and response and a little choreographed proud Mary moment. Our first dance song is not a very common song, not only did THC learn it for us, but they provided us a track of their composition beforehand so we could practice the dance. You’ll see in the pictures my face when I first heard them play it – completely awestruck! That was pretty much my inner face the entire rest of the night in their presence. I have so many fond memories of engaging with THC throughout our wedding. If I could do it again, I’d hire THC without a second thought.”
