He met with us multiple times to make sure every detail was mapped out, and he made collaborating so easy through shared Google Docs and Spotify playlists. He even let us pick his suit color, and we chose pink to match our garden party theme — such a fun, personal touch! During our happy hour, Brandon played acoustic guitar and took song requests, walking around and engaging with our guests the whole time. I was upstairs getting ready and could hear our guests singing along — it set the perfect tone for the whole night before we'd even started! He brought incredible energy, fun, and professionalism to every part of our event. Brandon pumped up the crowd for our first entry as husband and wife and kept everyone engaged all night long. He even brought additional uplighting to enhance our dance floor, which made everything feel even more magical. Throughout the evening, Brandon checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and to see if we wanted to add any last-minute touches. I vetted several DJs for my husband’s surprise 70th birthday celebration and selected Second Song live DJ because they were able to provide a soloist and a sax player to compliment the overall DJ experience. Our DJ was Ace, Sax Player Austin and singer Natalie. I booked 11 months in advance, had a phone meet and greet 6 weeks out and had several revisions to the itinerary as we got closer to the event. Any changes , questions or ideas I had were promptly acknowledged, answered and collaborated on which continually reassured me that Second Song took a personal interest in making our night one to remember. “My husband and I got married this past August and I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while but we had a big move and time got away from us. As a wedding vendor myself I know how important it is to have a DJ that can balance fun and professionalism, but Joey Chang did just that. He was punctual, detail oriented, and our guest couldn’t stop talking about how good he was, both as a musician and as a DJ. I really appreciated the time and effort he took to insure that no details were missed. We booked a lighting package as well and our ceremony space looked even better than I could have imagined. Joey made sure the ceremony audio was perfect. Everyone could hear the whole ceremony which was really important to us. And when he played cello for our processional and recessional, the sound really filled the space and sounded beautiful. During our cocktail hour he played cello and did some beatboxing, we were so impressed and our guests loved it as well, they were talking about how good he was and how they could hardly believe it was live music. After dinner the dance floor was full the whole night. Even months later we still have people telling us how much fun they had dancing, how great our playlist was, and how much they liked our DJ. “Richard was helpful and respectful throughout our entire wedding planning process. He worked flawlessly with me, my partner, and our wedding planner to pull off an incredibly fun reception. Richard did an initial call with my partner to discuss the general vibe we were looking for, and we knew immediately he would be a great fit for our wedding. Richard gave us a helpful questionnaire to fill out key songs and general musical interests (and do not play songs). Richard was also happy to jump on calls with us to talk through our questions and hopes for our big day. I especially appreciated that Richard was able to play some German songs for some guests who had flown in from Germany, as that got even some of our older relatives on the dance floor. “Lucky Devils Band was a fantastic choice for our wedding band. Their communication style was consistently supportive and flexible, which was crucial given all the moving parts we had for our special day. They were incredibly talented musicians who totally delivered on the value - their performance was worth every penny. We originally planned for a 6-person ensemble, but two weeks before the wedding we asked to add a horn section, including a talented saxophone player. They nailed every special song and moment we wanted to include, and the addition of the horn section added so much richness to their sound. “The Dreamers team threw an epic silent disco after party for our wedding reception. It was a huge hit with our guests - the DJs/artists are the heart and soul of a silent disco and they truly delivered everything we could have asked for and more in terms of throwing down for our group of 50-60 afterpartiers who just wanted to hear some good music and DANCE. First up, they are obviously very musically talented - their style is fun for everyone of all ages and they are open to working with you for your preferences. They went above and beyond by making a special arrangement of our first dance song. We wanted to practice dancing to their rendition before the big day, so Emily shared a recording of it with us which was extremely helpful. Emily is a true professional, helping us organize all of the details and logistics in addition to emceeing for the evening and bringing her gorgeous singing voice, and each member of the band brings their own talents and flair.
