DeeDee is an incredible owner - providing the best service and advice throughout not only your wedding day, but planning as well! We loved that Sadie Lake had such a large inventory of decor - we saved hundreds here! The bridal suite with beautiful natural light, large and accommodating groom’s suite, and the prep kitchen was a huge bonus. Now let’s talk about the grounds - DeeDee has created a beautiful venue. When we showed up for our tour, she was in gardening gloves and boots - we knew that she kept this place immaculate! Everything on the 18 acres is absolutely gorgeous, perfect for wedding photos! The barn is a beautiful backdrop, the lake is adorable, and the lush green grounds are to die for. The tent and barn provide great alternates for poor weather as well (we didn’t need it, but we were glad to have a backup, knowing Washington). Our guests absolutely loved partying it up at Sadie Lake! Deedee is the kindest vendor, and truly cares for you as a couple and the important part of your wedding day; that you love each other and are getting married!! We highly recommend Sadie Lake! It is the second-highest base area in Washington, and from May through November it is a wedding venue. Which side of the crest you are on matters on a wedding day. Ours gets over 300 sunny days a year and the dry air that comes with them. The Main Deck sits above the valley floor and runs cooler than town on a July afternoon. By late September the western larches turn gold across the ridge. Utilize the Hampton Lodge at the base how you see fit, that doubles as indoor space ready in case the weather turns. Tables, chairs, linens and place settings are included. All food and beverage comes from our own kitchen and bar, and parking is free. Bookings run ten hours start to finish, including our set-up and clean-up. Whistlin’ Jacks made our wedding so easy. You can truly customize your wedding to be uniquely yours by going with them. Our wedding has people coming from nearby and out of state. We loved the fact that it’s located in the shadow of Mt. Rainier, on the gorgeous Naches River and in one of our favorite forests of all time. For us, it was the destination without the cost. Us and our guests made amazing memories before, during, and after the wedding. We used their cabins and lodge rooms for our guests stay on site with us. In the evening we sat around a campfire before enjoying a soak in the hot tubs. The wedding day started with decorating the tent and aisle with flowers. Bridal parties went off to get ready and then we had our first look. We had it on the backside of our cabin along the river, not only was it pretty but it was super private and intimate. We used the river and forest as the backdrop for the ceremony. It was a memorable aisle to walk down, and the pictures couldn’t have turned out better. Whistlin’ Jacks can cater or bar tend, but we opted to hire in a taco truck. We filled a canoe with ice and beverages. Whistlin’ Jacks refilled the ice for us as needed to keep the guests happy. It got a little chilly in the evening so they brought down a propane heater. Whistlin’ Jacks was extremely easy to coordinate with, and was very thoughtful to details. They even blocked off the road so no one could interrupt the ceremony.

The Blue Elk Inn is a gorgeous hotel just off Main Street at the end of a cul-de-sac. This made it very quiet and peaceful for being only 10 minute walk from the main downtown part of Leavenworth. The grounds are well maintained and there where landscapers out every day before my wedding ensuring there where no weeds and the flowers where in the perfect bloom. The hotel staff were all extremely helpful the 3 days prior and the day of my wedding. There is plenty of space for all the guests and with it being a hotel we did not have to worry about people leaving the property after celebrating. The yard has an amazing selection of wild flowers native to the Leavenworth area making the yard area need almost no decorations. There is ample power outlets all around the yard to allow for extra lighting if needed. My wedding was in the spring and the weather was perfect but with the large old maple tree and pine trees in the back yard there is no shortage of shade. The event team the blue elk inn is partnered with made the day run smooth too. Over all everyone was happy and excited to help us giving recommendations on things for our guests to do around the area along with helping my wife and I plan the greatest day of our life. Also shout out Kyra the hotel manager she was awesome making sure my wife and I where all set. She ensured my wife and I had everything we needed. She would check in about once a month from the day we booked until the mont of our wedding and she checked in with us again twice the month of our wedding. Also she answered almost every question we had and if she didn’t know she got back to us quickly when she found out the answer. Over all highly recommend the Blue Elk Inn for your wedding

MSL turned out to be the perfect wedding venue for our event. Communication leading up to the wedding was concise and direct, but they maintained a relaxed attitude. They assigned us a coordinator as our primary point of contact, which made emails and day-of communication much easier. Our coordinator was Leah, and she guided us through a lot of planning considerations we wouldn't have thought of on our own. They were also clear, up-front, and timely with communications about payments. All of their estimates for costs were accurate. There was a small mistake on our (large and very complicated) bill at one point, and it was noticed and corrected immediately without our even having to ask. The venue itself is extremely beautiful. The clean, well-maintained, and well-landscaped spaces created an even more beautiful event than what we had planned. Meanwhile, the cabins were comfortable and spacious enough for our guests to hang out and party for the whole weekend. We basically turned it into a grown-up, extremely luxurious version of summer camp. We had two dinners and a lunch catered. The food was very consistent with the samples we tried during the planning phase and we were thrilled with the result. They accommodated a range of dietary restrictions, and the amount of food provided per guest was quite generous. They also made the process of selecting and ordering our meals and drinks easy. Most importantly, my husband wanted to source our own wine for the wedding. MSL was flexible with us and found a way to accommodate the request, even though that's not how they usually do it. During our event, the staff was efficient and discrete. Only Leah ever approached us to ask questions or prompt the next phase of the event, so we could otherwise sit back and enjoy the ride. Meanwhile, the party flowed smoothly on around us, thanks to the rest of their team. Our other vendors also remarked that their work was made easier by the venue staff. Based on the positive reviews from other customers, and our interactions with their wedding planning team, we knew our events would go well. Even so, we were blown away by the experience of the wedding itself.

All in all this venue was incredible. Nevaeh was incredible and made this day a complete success. We signed the contract in early 2024 and our contact left the venue and we were left with zero contact for about 5 months. Thank goodness Nevaeh was hired because she was a fantastic asset for our wedding. The food was hot, plentiful, and delicious with amazing service. The views left guests speechless and we are grateful to have had such a perfect Wedding day in July 2025. Very sad to hear Nevaeh accepted a new job and is leaving at the end of 2025. I'm not sure many people could handle everything as gracefully as she did.
