“DJ Steven and Stumptown were excellent! DJ Steven, while being a Tier 2 DJ, was more like a Tier 10! We really wanted a fun and populated dancefloor at our wedding and DJ Steven delivered! He was great at reading the crowd and playing songs that got everyone on their feet. He also surprised us by bringing a bubble gun, lights, and a 360 cam. What was most spectacular was that DJ Steven also created a special mix for our first dance so that we could do a fun choreographed dance to it. Our guests absolutely loved it, and we couldn’t be more thankful to Steven for making it happen. He helped us select songs for all phases of the wedding and was able to really set the mood throughout the entire event. We received numerous compliments from guests about how the wedding was so upbeat and had an awesome party atmosphere; DJ Steven was a large part of that! He listened to everything we asked for, customized our ceremony songs and reception perfectly and he has an amazing energy, he’s really funny and helped make our party so much fun. Our wedding video was awesome and we also got the photobooth. Splurge and get the printouts with the attendant and the book. It was worth every penny. The guests loved it and we have a book with their pictures and signatures to look back on. Overall everything was a great experience and Rod Bell is also reasonably priced. “The Hook Club made our wedding dreams come true. My husband is Dominican and I am from New England, and therefore we were looking for a bilingual band that could play a very wide range of music - from American wedding classics, to Pop, to Reggaeton, to Merengue, to Bachata — and a group that could MC the evening in Spanish and English, and bring the energy to keep the party going. We went with Hook Club’s 7 piece DJ Band, and they were above and beyond fantastic. They curated a setlist that somehow, despite the wide range of music, flowed together and was cohesive. I can’t express enough how talented they are vocally, instrumentally, professionally, and as performers. The dance floor was absolutely lit; even my brother who was on crutches and had a torn labrum couldn’t stay away. It makes me tear up thinking about how much energy, positivity, and happiness they brought to our night — they will always have a special place in our hearts. They are also true professionals - the planning process was easy, they were prompt in all communication, and on the day of they handled venue-related hiccups with grace. They were the first vendor to arrive to ensure a thorough set up, and the last to leave. They are truly such a special, one of a kind group, and I cannot recommend them enough. Of all the many decisions we made in planning our wedding, choosing THC was by far the best decision of them all. Although our wedding was back in August; our friends and family are still talking about The Hook Club, exlusively referring to them as “ the best wedding band they have ever heard before”. We had a fairly diverse crowd in terms of age, background, taste in music and their ability to please that wide range of people is a testament to their talent. THANK YOU TO THE HOOK CLUB !!!”
