“The Garrison was the perfect venue for our winter wedding. Annie was incredible for all of the coordination, and we loved working with our day-of attendant, Fatima, who made the entire event personal, seamless and low maintenance. From the very beginning, their communication was quick, easy and incredibly helpful as we planned our big day. The views both inside and outside the venue were absolutely breathtaking. The Garrison team created an authentic and memorable experience that we will cherish forever. We couldn't have imagined getting married anywhere else and recommend them to everyone!”

“Just had my wedding here and what a time we had :D Devin, the owner, was incredibly easy to work with when planning and was very patient in answering my endless questions. Our guests loved the venue, especially the easy access to the patio during the reception, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. If you want the full effect of the orchards in bloom for your photos, I would wait until later in the season, but we had excellent weather. Great bar selection and everyone got a kick out of the arcade area. 10/10, would recommend!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue than City Winery Hudson Valley! We chose the intimate package for our wedding and got married on 10.12.2024. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was the place where we wanted to celebrate our special day. The breathtaking views and stunning industrial architecture provided the ideal backdrop for our ceremony and reception, creating a magical atmosphere that our guests are still raving about! I have to be honest, it did not start off with the best communication from the original person in charge of my wedding at the venue. I’m not sure if she didn’t know what she was doing or just didn’t care. Thankfully it was transferred into someone else’s care. Once Colleen and Kim took over the communication and planning, the staff at City Winery Hudson Valley were nothing short of exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, from the initial planning stages to the final send-off. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail from these two women and their team made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. We truly felt like royalty on our special day! The reception space was elegantly decorated, with plenty of room for dancing and mingling. Our guests loved the unique layout and how everything felt both intimate and grand at the same time. Moreover, the catering provided by City Winery Hudson Valley was phenomenal! Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the delicious food and impeccable service. The menu options were diverse and customizable, allowing us to create a dining experience that perfectly reflected our tastes. Finally, the location itself is a hidden gem. The picturesque surroundings allowed for stunning photo opportunities, and we were able to capture memories that will last a lifetime. If you’re searching for a wedding venue that combines beauty, elegance, and unparalleled service, look no further than City Winery Hudson Valley. We are so grateful for the incredible memories we created there and wholeheartedly recommend it to any couple looking to tie the knot!”

“We had the most amazing time at Diamond Mills Hotel! The venue is BEAUTIFUL, and the staff is wonderful to work with. My husband and I also loved exploring Saugerties! Planning a wedding in two months was challenging, but booking Diamond Mills for our wedding venue was the best decision ever! We loved working with Stephanie, Carrie, and Brianne. They are highly organized and professional. Our wedding day was truly magical! Our guests had a wonderful time! We also really appreciate how the staff working on the day of our wedding ensured that my husband and I ate well (and remembered to eat as we interacted with our guests). The food served was delicious and we loved our wedding cake! Another great thing about booking the wedding at Diamond Mills is that the hotel is attached to the wedding venue - it was very convenient for us and our guests! We received a good discount for our hotel block. The wedding package they offer at Diamond Mills Hotel is truly well-rounded! Beautiful venue with indoor and outdoor spaces, catering, open bar, wedding cake, and supportive and amazing staff to help you plan your wedding and ensure that everything runs smoothly during the day of the wedding all for a reasonable price! I used some rental decorations, and the staff made sure to carefully pack everything at the end of the night, so shipping and packing up the following day was easy! We highly recommend Diamond Mills!”

“Jim and Sarah of Black Walnut Farm have created a haven for love. Every inch of their 34 acres is carefully curated for a truly magical experience. As Matt and I approached our forest ceremony enclave, filled with our loved ones, the happy tears were instant thanks to their attention to detail. We chose Black Walnut Farm, after exploring numerous venues, because of their perfectly decorated barn complete with 4 foot disco ball, manicured gardens, equally charming farmhouse to stay the weekend with family, smore station, popcorn machine, audio guestbook, and of course their property manager, Miss Lily, the barn cat. What we didn’t expect to be included in our wedding package was the amount of care, energy, support, and love we felt from Jim, Sarah, and the staff at Black Walnut Farm as they effortlessly managed the most memorable day of our lives. Thank you for making our dreams come true and for being the best wedding venue we could ask for! There is no place like Black Walnut Farm.”

“There are no words that I could possibly say that could pinpoint how I feel about Kerri and the staff at FVM. When your daughter gets engaged to the love of her life, you immediately want the absolute most perfect wedding day for her and you want all her wedding dreams to come true. The first time I met Kerri I had an instant feeling of this is the place, and this is the person to make it all come true. The staff is beyond compare and the food was top-notch delicious! I will forever be grateful to everyone at Fortune Valley Manor who helped make my daughter and son-in-law‘s day a memory that will last a lifetime. “When we started planning our wedding, we knew that we wanted our guests to truly experience the simple beauty of the Hudson Valley. That is what led us to the Abeel House. Our entire day was magical. I walked down the aisle on a little pebble path, surrounded on both sides by wildflowers. Our wedding guests were seated on hay bales in the prairie, the sun on their backs and the stream behind them. After our ceremony, we celebrated in the restored barn behind the historic Dutch stone house. We split the barn into three sections — one to seat our guests for dinner, one for the dance floor, drinks, and dessert tables, and one for the local bluegrass band we hired. As evening came, we turned on the twinkle lights in the barn and danced the night away. You could see the stars through the open windows.”

“We are so grateful we found Vanderbilt Lakeside for our wedding weekend. The location is absolutely beautiful and created the perfect setting for our celebration, but what truly made the experience exceptional was Henrietta. She is an absolute gem. She was always available to answer questions, provide guidance, and make sure every detail was covered, which made everything feel as stress-free as possible. The entire team was wonderful to work with, and the food prepared by Matt was absolutely delicious. Our guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed the meals. Whatever you decide, The Caboose is the space to enjoy all the modern amenities you’ve come to expect from a venue like ours — including killer sound and PA systems and aesthetic finishes like warm woods, cool marbles and stone, and hand-finished metals, all accomplished without sacrificing our commitment to being 100% carbon-neutral — because we love our planet as much as we do our guests.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Both indoor and outdoor options
  • Picturesque garden backdrop
  • Has a fun and festive vibe

Venue considerations

  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Best for events with big guest lists
  • No on-site guest accommodations
“We had a roundabout journey to The Caboose, but I couldn't be happier that it's where we landed for our wedding in September '25. From the jump, we appreciated the gorgeous space, their commitment to doing right by the planet, and the affiliation with Kitty's—some of our favorite food in Hudson. The combination of a beautiful garden and stunning indoor space made us feel like we were safe no matter the weather. Every time we visited, the garden got better. We loved how lush and colorful it was for our day. We enjoyed working with Caitlin, the venue manager. She was creative and flexible and willing to work with us to do a few things a little differently (like have the ceremony in a different spot in the garden). The food was truly incredible—we still have people raving about it! We appreciated that because we were right on the edge seasonally, we were able to choose the summer menu instead of the one for fall, which felt just right for the day's weather and feeling. Because we had our tasting in February, we weren't able to try most of the items we had, but we trusted we were in good hands—and we definitely were. The kitchen team was also incredibly accommodating with our guest's dietary restrictions—everyone felt very cared for, which is what we hoped for the most! We had live music as well as a DJ and everything sounded truly great in the space. The staff working on our day was SO kind and helpful—people made mention of how warm everyone was, too. I saw many a chitchat at the bar, just because they were so lovely! Just a note, too, that while The Caboose was pricey, we were totally amazed by the value and all that they take care of. We looked at dozens of venues—from full-service spots to DIY operations—and kept coming back to the mix of creativity, value, and quality that The Caboose offered. The fact that they take care of the food, drinks, furniture rentals, lighting, sound system, and staff—and all at such a high caliber—unheard of! We truly couldn't have done it without them. Working with her was an absolute joy. She was attentive, organized, and genuinely invested in making our wedding everything we hoped it would be. When we had a less-than-favorable experience with our planner, Jules stepped in without hesitation and completely took control of the situation. She handled everything with professionalism and grace, allowing us to feel fully supported and at ease on our wedding day. I cannot recommend Hotel Lilien enough for couples looking for an intimate, memorable, and beautifully run wedding experience. “We had the pleasure of having our daughter’s reception at the Inn. We were forced to relocate to their venue because of a gas leak at our original location. 5 hours before the wedding! The entire staff, especially Mary the manager and Matt the bartender went over and above to make sure our reception went well. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful grounds and venue space. If they can do what they did for us in 5 hours. I can only imagine what would have been with 5 months of planning! Thanks again for your attention to detail and hospitality, you saved the day….”

Ryan the lift operations manager kept Brittany updated on the weather day of and when it didn’t look good at the bottom he drove up to make sure he truly had say no to us going to the summit (it was 30 degrees with 45 kt winds) he and his crew opened the lift for 2 hours the next day so we could still get our summit pictures and they all had smiles on their faces. The venue has a modern industrial vibe. Aaron, Laura and the whole Wire team were very accommodating and kind from day one. This venue is all inclusive. We were were able to book hotel blocks for our guests. The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern. We were able to stay in the bridal suite (Heron Suite) for a total of three nights. This room is beautiful, it has a large 4 poster bed, sitting room and huge bathroom with large walk in shower. We had our rehearsal dinner at the Patrick Henry ( one of their restaurants on site), which is adjacent to the venue property. The food was delicious and gave off a casual vibe for out of town guests as they were arriving. The day of the wedding the bride and groom have their own beautiful getting ready rooms. The bridal getting ready room had a lot of natural light and salon style chairs for hair and makeup. The morning after the wedding we had our brunch at the Day line Roof top bar, which is another restaurant on the property. The food was a delicious breakfast buffet.
