The Kayla Effect
Rating: 5.0 (4 reviews)
  • Beauty professional
  • Team of 1
  • Starts at $80
  • Serves Tulare, SD

The Kayla Effect was born from a passion for art. I have always loved using the gifts God has given me. From drawing with pencils, to acrylics, to selling masterpieces of oil paintings, now to enhancing beauty with makeup! As a professional makeup artist, I believe makeup is more than products. It's seeing the look on brides faces when they look in the mirror after my glam. It's the conversations, and bringing a sense of peace to the bride on what might be a day full of nerves. It's finding and enhancing the individuality and uniqueness of each and every person that sits in my chair. I love my job, and I hope you will love your makeup!

“Working with The Kayla Effect was such a smooth experience from start to finish. Kayla made me and my bridesmaids feel so comfortable while getting us ready, and her communication throughout the planning process was straightforward and reassuring. What I loved most was how natural everything looked—the makeup was exactly what I'd envisioned for my wedding day. She stayed on schedule and got through all of us without any rushing or stress. The quality of her work was amazing, and I felt beautiful and confident all day long. I'd absolutely recommend The Kayla Effect to any bride looking for a makeup artist that's both skilled and genuinely easy to work with.”

Moments by Danielle Nicole
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
  • Photographer
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $4,500
  • Serves Tulare, SD

Moments by Danielle Nicole is a light and airy photographer and videographer, serving brides in South Dakota, Minnesota, and open to travel to beautiful destination locations. MBDN leans towards a luxury wedding photographer and fine art type of editing style.

“We hired Danielle for our wedding after our original photo/video team cancelled on us 6 months out. As stressful as it was, I’m so glad that happened because Danielle is AMAZING. She is truly one of the sweetest people I have ever met and her light and airy photos are stunning. She is very professional and organized. She loves what she does and it shows through her work. We all know posing for pictures is awkward sometimes, but Danielle made us and our bridal party feel comfortable on the wedding day and it shows in the photos just how much fun we had with her. Danielle actually lives in SD about 45 minutes from my husband and I and we have already discussed that she will be our go to photographer for all our future photo needs. Her prices are beyond reasonable for everything included in her packages. We actually got the same amount of coverage as the original team we hired, but for about 1500 less which is huge when planning a wedding! If you’re looking for a photo/video team reach out to Danielle, you won’t be disappointed!”

Hey there!! I am located in northeast South Dakota! I have been doing photography since 2016 and loving every minute of it! I am small town girl but love to travel any chance I get! Weddings are my absolute favorite, they drive my soul!! I would explain my style as bold, authentic, strong and moody! I’m not creating images where every little piece of it is conducted and posed. I just guide you in a way that gets you comfortable and lets you unfold. So I can capture you, your love, your story, just as it is.

“We have worked with Keely, capturing special moments in our life for years now and every time we work with her we have so much fun! She does such an amazing job working with our children (and my husband haha) who aren't always super cooperative when it comes to pictures. The day of our wedding she was there on time and kept us that way all day. She was professional a d had great, creative ideas for one of a kind photos. She is absolutely amazing at capturing those little moments during a shoot that arent always planned but just fill your heart with Joy. We will Continue working with Keely for years to come.”

“We had our wedding reception at the Huron Event Center this past June, and we couldn’t have been more impressed with both the space and the staff. From the very beginning, they communicated clearly and consistently throughout the entire planning process, which made everything feel smooth and stress-free. On the day of the reception, their team was organized, attentive, and truly wonderful to work with. They offered a selection of table décor and place settings in various colors, which made it easy to match our vision. Their experience really showed when they helped us with the space layout and design ideas. They provided thoughtful suggestions that made the room function perfectly for our guests and all the decorations we had. There was plenty of space for everything we wanted, including a large dance floor that kept our guests dancing all night, while still allowing comfortable seating and room to move around. The food was another highlight. They had a wide selection of menu options for both dinner and cocktail hour, and we received many compliments from our guests about how delicious everything was. Many of our guests also mentioned how friendly and professional the staff and bartenders were, which meant so much to us. Overall, we had an incredibly positive experience at the Huron Event Center and are so grateful to the entire team for helping make our wedding day so special and memorable. Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.8 (100 reviews)
  • Florist
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Tulare, SD

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
“We had an amazingly positive experience working with Flower Moxie for my daughter’s July wedding. We placed our order in February using their “How Much Should I Buy” worksheet as a guide. Their website is filled with images and videos to help you make your choices. We went with the Sweet Wildflower bridal bouquet and 4 bridesmaid bouquets and then ordered a Build Your Own Wildflower Mixed Box and Build Your Own Spray Rose Mixed Box to DIY bud vases all for just over 900! In June we decided we wanted more bud vases for our dining tables than we had originally planned to have. I spoke with Maria who helped me add more of what I’d order to meet my needs. Cost was about 150. Not knowing really what to expect, I added 4 premade centerpieces just to have which cost 280. This was SO much more cost effective than trying to work with local florists or deal with wooden flower options. The only issue we had was a UPS issue. The flowers were coming directly from a farm in Ecuador and tracking numbers showed they were held up in Miami waiting for government release. Once released, we were able to see their travels. The flower boxes ended up being delayed by 1 day. The flowers should have arrived on a Thursday for a Sunday wedding. Delivery moved to Friday. Every worried email I sent was responded to immediately by Flower Moxie. They were tracking my order, too, and were on top of it. Once they arrived, we followed the specific directions the company sends out. I have photos of the stages of hydration, watching the blooms get more and more gorgeous as the hours passed. The bridal party put the 72 bud vases together on Saturday in the hotel conference room near the wedding venue. The bridal bouquets were perfect needing nothing but trimming of the stems and wrapping stems with ribbon we had purchased. I would highly recommend working with Flower Moxie, especially if you are looking to support small business, enjoy having the option to be a little hands on (though you don’t have to choose this option), and want to save on the cost of your florals. I plan to use them in the future if the need arises.”

“I cannot recommend PressRecord enough! From start to finish, the entire process was incredibly easy and completely stress-free. The camcorders were simple for our guests to use, and everything was clearly explained, making the whole experience foolproof. What truly impressed me was their customer service. They were unbelievably kind and responded to every email so quickly. They even re-edited our wedding film **twice** to make sure it was exactly what we envisioned, and they happily searched through all of the footage to include very specific moments that were important to us. The most meaningful thing they did was incorporate a photo I sent them of our memorial table honoring my mom and my husband's grandparents who had passed away. Including that tribute in our wedding video meant more to us than I can express, and I'm so grateful they took the time to make it happen. Our final 5-minute home video feels so personal and captures the heart of our wedding day perfectly. If you're considering PressRecord, do it—you'll not only end up with an amazing keepsake, but you'll also be working with a team that genuinely cares about preserving what matters most.”

“My husband and I hired Edgar (Anchor Studios) as our photographer for our wedding on July 7, 2024. He did an amazing job!! Since we started working with him for our engagement pictures up to the wedding and after, he has been great at communication and very professional. He went above and beyond by helping us create a timeline for our wedding because didn’t know how weddings usually go. He worked so hard on the day of our wedding to get the best shots, and was very kind and helped us a lot with organizing order of events. He had great ideas for poses and was very mindful to get all the pictures we wanted with family members and bridal party. And even better than all of this, when we got the pictures, they came out amazing!! It’s very clear that he put a lot of hard work into making them look incredible. He is a very talented and skilled photographer. We were blown away by how they turned out! We are very thankful for how hard he worked and how great he made the picture look! Hey there!! My name is Alexis and I'm so glad you're here. I am a wedding and portrait photographer based in Hankinson, ND, with ties to Minneapolis as well, so I am in MN often and will gladly come wherever you are! I love the all things outdoors, especially forests and couldn't live without coffee.

“I had Alexis (and Sam) photograph my wedding at the Avalon Events Center on 6/13. She was awesome every step of the way, from having a huge bag of wedding kit items, helping pose and manage family for photos, and coming up with ideas for photos to make use of the large gap of time we had between the ceremony and the grand march. I don't think I saw her and Sam put down their cameras the entire 8 hours they were there on that day, so I'm excited to get the full gallery of photos! She was also able to rush us out for some awesome sunset photos when we only had a few minutes to get them. Cannot recommend her highly enough! Her price is extremely reasonable for the great quality of service and photos she provides.”

“The photographer, Jonathan, and his assistant, were absolutely amazing. They arrived early, were flexible and really accommodating to our vision. They also really hustled! They took advantage of every spare moment they had to get additional photos, and kept us on schedule super tightly. They even carried around things like bottles of water for me (the bride) as we took lots of photos in the hot upper floor of the venue. Many guests also mentioned how beautifully the photos turned out. However, we did have an issue in which, due to an injury to the editor's hand, we did not receive our photos in the agreed-upon timeframe. Had we been informed of this delay ahead of time, we would not have had any issue just waiting a bit longer. The main concern was that we weren't alerted of this delay until after the initial deadline had passed. We did request a discount due to this, which they accommodated. And the photos did still turn out amazing!”

Hey, hey my name is Ali. NY-based, but working nation-wide, I'm a wedding photographer who captures experiences, genuine love, authentic characters, and immortalizes precious memories. I focus on visualizing how it felt to live your wedding day, while also crafting editorializations simply for the sake of intentional, living art. I am adamant that everyone, of all genders and orientations, any ethnicity, culture, or faith, all shapes, ages, and abilities, are welcome and I’d be delighted to work with you.

“My husband and I cannot recommend Ali enough to anyone looking for a photographer!! We first got in contact with Ali last year for our planned wedding, but due to unforeseen circumstances we were unable to have our big day, BUT we were lucky enough to transfer her services over to my sister and brother and law! After meeting Ali in person on their wedding day and seeing the magic she can do, it was an absolute no brainer that she would be there for our big day and any and every other event we need photography for! She truly became family and we cannot thank her enough for everything she’s done! She goes above and beyond in her work and truly makes the day so much easier and more fun than ever!”

FêteFone® is a modern twist on the traditional guest book—where guests talk instead of write. Using a stylish vintage phone, your loved ones can leave heartfelt, funny, and unforgettable voice messages that capture the true spirit of your celebration. Your big day goes by in a flash, but with FêteFone, you’ll have the voices, laughter, and love preserved forever. Imagine hearing your grandmother’s kind words, your best friend's inside jokes, or the excitement in your guests’ voices—all at the lift of a receiver. FêteFone helps you capture the magic of your celebration—the joy, the tears, the laughter—in a way you’ll cherish for a lifetime.

“As a planner with over two decades in the industry, we’ve seen trends come and go—but FêteFone has completely changed the game when it comes to guest books. It’s intuitive for guests of all ages, beautifully designed to complement any wedding aesthetic, and it always ends up being one of the most talked-about elements of the night. Our couples are blown away when they get their messages, and the keepsake phones look stunning in their homes afterward. From a logistics standpoint, it’s a dream—no WiFi, no app, no stress, and round-the-clock support. By creating the audio guest book, FêteFone has elevated it into something truly personal and unforgettable.”
