“I am still riding the high from my wedding hosted at Skyview Golf Club and I can't say enough great thing. If you're planning a wedding this is your venue. Not only is it one of the more affordable wedding venues in North Jersey, the staff and specifically coordinator Hildegard Power, are incredible at what they do. Hildegard walked me through the entire planning process, maintained the excitement and quickly answered all of questions (no matter how repetitive or the hour). The venue itself, without any additional decor, is stunning. Modern, open layout that accentuate the natural scenery. The bartenders were incredible, my guests are still asking me for recipes from our signature drinks (house cocktails suggested an made by Skyview) and the food was delicious. Hildegard ensured we actually got to eat on our wedding day, enjoy our choices and savor each moment and bite. The options for food, both cocktail hour and dinner are extraordinary--it became my husband and I's favorite date night activity to try to narrow down our favorite menu items. Eating them all on the big day was icing on the cake. I had a very specific vision for my wedding and Hildegard worked with me and my family to bring it to life, from decor drop-off and organization to final touches and last minute changes on the big day. More than anything, the most worthwhile and best thing I got from Skyview was reassurance and peace of mind. As a bride, there are a million decisions you have to make and even more things that will creep into your mind to worry you. I was never once worried that something may go wrong or fall through at Skyview. Hildegard built a strong foundation of trust and communication with us that truly made the big day everything I hoped. I was able to be in the moment and enjoy every second of my wedding to the fullest thanks to Skyview.”

“I've been shooting weddings at Mountainville Manor house since Lauren Abramo and team first started bringing their magic touch to renovate the venue. Since then I have shot number weddings there. Each one has gone off without a hitch, with the back end working smoothy to produce a flawless event for the guests. One of the bet things as a vendor is how they look out for us. I never have to beg for a glass of water. We are always fed on time with the food is hot! (That never happens.) If the treat the vendors as well as they do, you can only imagine how they cater to the bride and groom. I recommend it for everyone looking for a charming venue in the Hudson Highlands at the gateway to the Catskills”

“CURRENT at Pier Sixty is an AMAZING place to have your wedding! From the moment we saw it, we were mesmerized by the open concept, water view, color-changing ceilings, and friendliness of the staff. They were so responsive to all of our questions while we were selecting a venue. After booking, they were always immediately responsive to us with anything that came up.  So many people told us this was one of the most beautiful weddings they had ever been to and so much of that is due to CURRENT and its staff. The sun setting over the water is just unreal. The linen color choices are plentiful, and we were able to select the color that went perfectly with all our other wedding decor. It makes it so much easier that they include an Event Coordinator, who coordinates everything leading up to and on the wedding day. He answered all of our questions any time we had them, and was there from the moment we arrived on the wedding day. He guided us through every part of the day, from walking down the aisle, to coordinating everything during the cocktail hour and reception to ensure guests were okay and where they needed to be.  The bridal attendant they include was PHENOMENAL! She helped steamed the dress, was with us during all pictures (even fanning us to cool off in between!) and was the most attentive person. We had no idea someone so incredible would be with us.  The menu choices are unending! And it's all delicious. Everyone was blown away by the quality and quantity of the food!  CURRENT literally was the wedding of our dreams..more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. We recommend them to everyone!!”

The Skylark

  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $20,000

The Skylark in Midtown Manhattan features a chic, sophisticated venue with stunning skyline views. The modern design and rooftop terrace create an impressive setting for weddings. Guests appreciate the exceptional service and the expertly crafted cocktails, adding a unique touch to the celebration. The professional staff ensures a seamless event, handling all details with precision. The Skylark offers an elegant and modern venue, perfect for a stylish and memorable wedding experience.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Full catering menu to choose from
  • Has a sophisticated vibe
  • Provides setup and cleanup

Venue considerations

  • No in-house lighting and sound packages available
  • Dance floor not included
  • No on-premises lodging options
“When my husband and I initially came across The Skylark during our search, we were nervous that there were so few reviews, especially compared to the more “popular” venues in NYC. We took a chance and never looked back. The first factor in choosing The Skylark was the location. Most of our wedding guests were from out of state, and its convenient Midtown location made travel to/from LGA and securing hotel accommodations incredibly easy. The second was the venue itself. Our vision was an intimate and swanky wedding, so we wanted to be intentional about a guest experience that would echo the spirit that is NYC. Our biggest must-have was high-quality food. We chose a seated reception with an appetizer, entrée, and butlered desserts. The beautiful plating made it feel like an upscale dinner, and nearly five months later, our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was, especially the hors d’oeuvres. Kudos to Abigail Kirsch catering! We also wanted a picturesque backdrop, and we were able to use the outdoor patio (available April–November). The golden-hour views of TS and the ESB from the rooftop made for gorgeous photos. Most services included in the wedding package were kept in-house. In addition to cocktail hour and dinner, the package included an open bar, furniture, tableware, and linens. We also paid an additional fee to host our ceremony there, and the staff did a great job flipping the space within the scheduled timeframe. The third factor was The Skylark team. We could not have asked for a better group of professionals. They went above and beyond, from thoughtful touches in the bridal and groom’s suites (charcuterie boards and iced drinks to keep everyone fed and hydrated) to the elegant presentation of hors d’oeuvres and celebratory to-go gift bags. We also greatly appreciated the care with which our personal belongings were packed at the end of the night. None of these details went unnoticed, and we received so many compliments on the food, venue, service, and overall experience. Special shout-outs to LeighAnne, Candace, and Kaybri. LeighAnne was our main point of contact during the initial booking process and was such a blessing. She consistently responded to emails within 24 hours, which was especially important as we planned from out of state. Candace and Kaybri became our main contacts during the planning phase, and their support, expertise, and flexibility made the entire experience seamless. They accommodated requests, such as moving our rehearsal to the day before and extending venue access time. Our final planning session with Candace was two weeks prior, and she reassured us that everything would go well and all we needed to do was enjoy the moment. On the day of, Candace and Kaybri were a well-oiled machine. My husband and I were blown away by how smoothly everything ran according to our timeline, and are still convinced there were no hiccups—that’s how perfect it went. It is incredible how amazing they are at their jobs, and anyone can tell they genuinely love what they do. Additionally, I cannot recall the name of the attendant in my bridal suite, but she was an absolute angel. She fixed my headpiece for photos, helped me use the bathroom in my dress, and checked on me throughout the night. From the bottom of our hearts, my husband and I are forever grateful to The Skylark team for bringing our vision to life. We would absolutely host another event here and cannot wait to come back!”

“If you’re considering getting married in New York City, do yourself a favor and seriously consider Ever One Times Square. My wife and I got married there last week, and we genuinely couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful or meaningful experience. We would recommend Ever in a heartbeat. We had our ceremony at sunset, and it was absolutely beautiful. Times Square has always been our happy place together, so standing there and looking into my wife’s eyes as we began our life together as husband and wife was incredibly special. It genuinely felt like one of “we finally made it” type of moments. The sunset, the lights, the city around us, and the woman I love standing right in front of me made it all feel surreal. It was so beautiful that I actually cried a little, and I had absolutely no shame about it. It was one of those moments where you just let yourself feel everything. Our guests were just as impressed as we were and kept telling us how beautiful and unique the venue was. Megan, our event manager, was wonderful from start to finish. She made sure everything ran smoothly, was always there to answer our questions, and took so much of the stress out of the day. She allowed us to relax, enjoy ourselves, and truly be present for the moment. We also want to give a huge thank you to Alex, our officiant. He made the ceremony feel so personal and genuine. He even included some Spanish for us, which we absolutely loved and really appreciated. It was such a thoughtful touch that made the ceremony feel like it was truly ours. Everything felt natural and just right. Looking back, Ever One Times Square was more than just the place where we got married. It became part of our story and the backdrop to a moment we’ll always carry with us. Thank you to Megan, Alex, and the entire Ever team for making our wedding day so beautiful and memorable. We would recommend Ever One Times Square without hesitation to any couple looking for a unique and romantic wedding experience in New York City.”

Krystal and Sophie went WAY above and beyond to make our celebration and our stay go smoothly and something we will never forget! The cocktails were delicious, everyone was accomodating (including complimentary champagne in the room) and the Japanese soaking tub on the roof was sublime! Soaking in the tub with the view of the Empire State Building is a night I’ll look forward to repeating… and I would recommend for anyone else to do the same!”

“We hosted a pre-wedding Indian celebration on December 15 at Empyrean Bistro & Bar, and it was everything we wanted—vibrant, elegant, and so well organized. The venue is incredibly versatile, with plenty of room for guests to mix and mingle, and the indoor outdoor setup made the night feel open, lively, and comfortable. The service was professional and attentive from start to finish, and the food was a standout—authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Our guests kept complimenting the appetizers, the curries, and the cocktails, and the bar service stayed fast even as the party picked up. We also appreciated having projectors and sound/mic systems available for a few announcements and special moments. Logistics were easy for everyone: the 9th St Light Rail stop is right outside, and there’s a large nearby parking garage with validated parking available.
