Over the course of the 9 months leading up to the wedding I probably had 4 or 5 calls with Thaddeus to give him the general vibe we were looking for & work out details. “Jenna the dj kept the party hopping all night! She literally was so great in ensuring the guests were kept in the loop the entire night. The couple loved x files and she was made aware and went out of her way to play the x files theme song as a surprise for them. Also, there was an inside joke with a cardboard cutout of Danny Devito. When they did a couples dance she even joked about how if someone didn’t have a partner they could dance with Danny. She was very personable and even helped clear plates in her free time. In addition, there was an issue where the hired officiant didn’t show up on time. I called Live Events as a back up and the owner Dennis told me he was an hour and a half away at another wedding but would come immediately. He rushed to our aid even when I told him the other officiant finally showed up. He showed up ready to help in any way he could. This company is top notch in all they do. Professional, polite, friendly, fun and ready to exceed your expectations. The only mistake you could make on your wedding day would be not hiring them.”

His DJ skills are great, but the way he MC's the entire wedding is incredible. Our guests specifically mentioned how good he was at curating the party! We also included the photobooth and that was a hit. It was awesome to have the book with printed copies of the strips because we looked at it the next day as we debriefed our perfect wedding. The attendant was attentive and helpful for our guests. I would give Victor and his team 10 stars if I could!”

“We absolutely loved working with The Hook Club. Our amazing planner, Greenhouse Events, recommended THC, and we were sold immediately after meeting with Dan. He is super relaxed, nice, and so knowledgable. Dan and THC team made planning super easy for us. They took time to hear about our hopes and helped recommend different band sizes for us. We hadn’t heard of a DJ band before, but loved the idea of some live music with the versatility to play all sorts of music, but our venue wasn’t very big and we also didn’t want to break the bank and hire a huge band. We chose the 4 piece DJ band with singer, sax, drums, and DJ. We knew we LOVED the sax, so we also had the sax play for cocktail hour (shout out to Elijah, who was amazing), and it was one of the best parts of the night. For planning music, they sent out a very detailed and thorough spreadsheet with more songs than one could imagine, and we could rate ones we liked the most, choose ones we definitely wanted or didn't, and choose specific songs for important moments. We met a couple times to review music choices as well. One of our biggest fears with a DJ was that they'd talk too much and be a little annoying, but Dan did a great job as MC, and was very low-key like we asked but announced important moments clearly. Dan and all the musicians had such great energy and got everyone on the dance floor. Our vocalist, Christen, was also amazing — her voice was spectacular, and she was such an amazing performer and got everyone involved in the music and dancing. So many people told us how much they loved the music and the energy, and had never heard of a DJ band but thought it was an amazing concept and the addition of live music over tracks added extra excitement and fun. THC also helped out with lighting (uplights and dance lights), and worked with our fantastic planner and the venue to help us decide the best setup. Ultimately, we loved working with THC. Their DJ-band setup is unique and adds so much variety to your music while allowing for some of the energy that comes from live performers. We danced the night away and had an absolute blast. 100% would recommend THC to anyone!”

“We worked with Kevin Maldonado for our 11.17 ceremony and reception at the Granite Rose in Hampstead NH. Main Event was the recommended DJ service from our venue, and the matching process to put us with the rigth DJ was so easy. Once we met with Kevin, we had high hopes for our big day, and I am not exaggerating when I say that Kevin blew our hopes out of the water. Kevin helped with audio for our ceremony, before doing music and speeches at our cocktail hour and reception. We requested a high energy dancefloor, with classics from all decades to get everyone on their feet, and wanted to have an insane dance party with our friends and family. He killed it. The energy on the dancefloor was impeccable, and Kevin delivered our vision PERFECTLY. He was so professional, but fun, and everything went very smoothly, no hiccups, no complaints.
