Marisol and the entire Café del Sol team were absolutely amazing from beginning to end! The Dominican food was fresh, flavorful, authentic, and beautifully prepared. We especially loved the tender stewed meat and the moro, or Dominican rice and beans. Every plate was delicious, filling, and served with care. Our guests could not stop talking about how much they enjoyed the food. The team was professional, attentive, and made sure the catering came together smoothly. Marisol brought so much warmth and care to our celebration, and you could truly feel the love behind every dish. Café del Sol helped make our special day even more meaningful and unforgettable. We are incredibly grateful and highly recommend them to anyone looking for authentic Dominican food and a catering team that genuinely cares!

Absolutely delicious! The mofongo was flavorful and perfectly seasoned, the My husband and I visited Cafe Del Sol Dominican restaurant this past Saturday vegetable tostones were crispy and fresh, and the pigeon peas and rice were full of authentic Dominican flavor. The side salad was a nice, fresh complement to the meal. Cafe Del Sol delivered a satisfying, authentic dining experience with generous portions and great taste. I’ll definitely be back!

I can’t express how happy I am to finally have a Dominican restaurant close to home! For years, whenever I was craving the delicious flavors of my country, I had to drive all the way to Norcross or Marietta. Ever since Café del Sol opened, I’ve been there almost every week. The food is absolutely delicious and reminds me of the meals my grandmother used to make back in the Dominican Republic. Every dish is full of authentic flavor and made with care. The owner, who is also the chef, along with the entire staff, are incredibly welcoming and friendly. Walking into Café del Sol feels like stepping back into the Dominican Republic, enjoying amazing food surrounded by wonderful people. If you’re looking for authentic Dominican cuisine and genuine hospitality, this is the place to be!

I ordered off of DoorDash ummm it’s cool I guess. The yuca en escabeche I didn’t care for. I felt like the pollo frito needed more salt and seasoning in general. Good potions though. The arroz con gandules was okay I wanted arroz con habichuelas but they gave me that. The rice was actually the best part. The empanada filling was cool but the shells were soft. I wish they would put salad on the menu; I am not used to Dominican food without salad and also tell us what the caldo del día is. Because I wanted to try it. I called but no one answered. I feel like they need a kid’s menu too and to put habichuelas as a side as well. But def add salads like come on… But I would try it again. Next time for the bistec encebollao.
