Catering by Cheryl’s on 12th is a full service catering team that specializes in all kinds of event catering, from intimate gatherings to grand celebrations, we strive to delight guests with excellent food and outstanding service. We have a well curated menu that can bend and shift to meet the needs of any event and we are always willing to discuss a custom menu if that is preferred. We offer customizable packages that can work within a range of budgets, whether that is a casual buffet, a plated three course dinner for 200 guests, or a family style meal sure to be the most memorable aspect of the evening.

We value personal touches and connections with our clients above all else, clients work with the same contact via email or phone for the entire planning process and are able to schedule a site visit with the catering lead who will be running the meal on the big day ahead of time so that they have a trusted, familiar face on the team.

    Great experience!

    Working with Catering By Cheryl's On 12th has been a genuine pleasure, and I'd recommend them in a heartbeat to any couple planning their wedding. Their value for the offering is excellent! Laura's communication from the start was exceptional—she's thorough, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure every detail is locked down before the big day. On the event itself, their team handled everything flawlessly: table setup, bar management, food service, cake cutting, and cleanup, all while navigating unpredictable weather without missing a beat. Javier runs an incredibly tight operation behind the scenes and is always anticipating what needs to happen next. The combination of Laura's front-end precision and Javier's back-of-house excellence made our day feel effortless, and the value we received was outstanding. I genuinely look forward to working with them again.

    Would Enjoy Working With Again

    We coordinated a 130 guest wedding catered by Cheryl’s On 12th earlier this month and their team was great to work with. They catered three appetizers, a full dinner buffet featuring two main entrees, salad, two sides and dinner rolls, and were able to provide vegetarian and gluten free menu options as requested by the client. Lead by Javier they arrived on time, conducted themselves professionally and were great at communicating with our coordination team and working together as one unit. Post ceremony they provided transition assistance by moving ceremony chairs to the dinner tables and still began passing the cocktail hour appetizers on time. Dinner was also ready to serve on time, and we heard many compliments from guests about the quality of the food. The berry salad was commonly mentioned as a favorite. They kept the water replenished the entire reception, refilled the cookie table as needed and bussed the dinner tables. At the end of the night leftovers were boxed and in the fridge for couple to take home and the kitchen was clean with all trash removed. Overall they were friendly, professional, on-task, and on-time. Would enjoy working with this team again.

Yes, we offer tastings for you and a guest for a $100 tasting fee. If you sign a contract with us beforehand, we can waive this fee.
We are full service. We are happy to coordinate your rentals for a service fee equal to 8% of the rental order, or we can guide you through the process of booking your own rentals.
We will deliver anywhere within about an hour of downtown Portland. Serviced areas include: The Portland Metropolitan Area, Oregon City, Mulino, The Columbia River Gorge, Hood River, White Salmon, Ridgefield, Brush Prairie, Vancouver, Camas, Stevenson, etc...
Absolutely, dessert cutting and serving is included in our full service catering free of charge. Not only can we cut and serve cake, but we will serve whatever dessert you are providing: pie, ice cream sundae bar, cobbler, cupcakes, or whatever sweet treat you have on order!
Yes, we charge a delivery fee based on distance and number of vehicles required for the scope of work.
