I’m Brooke, founder of Sit. Stay. I Do., a luxury wedding-day dog care service serving New York City, New Jersey and New England. Our team helps couples seamlessly include their dogs in their wedding celebration without any stress! From potty breaks and photo shoots to walking down the aisle and fixing your pets outfits, we ensure your pup is calm, happy, and picture-ready for every moment on your big day.

This isn’t pet-sitting. It’s luxury, on-site event coordination for one of the most meaningful family members in your life. Fully insured and passionate about animal welfare (proudly donating 10% of 2027 proceeds to local rescue), our team handles the handling, treats, schedule, and the unexpected so you can focus completely on saying "I do." :)

Wedding-Day Dog Care

Price$650

Description

Include your dog in your wedding with dedicated care and coordination. Our $650 minimum includes up to 3 hours of wedding-day care. Time starts when we meet your pup on the wedding day and ends when we finish their care and depart, including transportation with your dog. We'll plan around your wedding timeline and your dog's needs. Additional time is $100 per hour and can be arranged in advance.

    Can't recommend enough!

    When planning our wedding we immediately knew our little one Oatly must be a part of it. We're so glad we found Brooke to help make that a reality as she was an excellent dog handler. Ahead of the wedding, she was easily one of our most communicative vendors (our wedding coordinator even commented on how responsive she was too!). She was a joy to work with. By the time the wedding day rolled around, we had zero stress about Oatly knowing she would be in the best of hands. Brooke handled everything smoothly — pickup, drop off, dinner, getting Oatly's attention for the perfect photos, and even giving her a quick brush before she ran down the aisle as our ring bearer. During the cocktail hour, she walked her around to greet all of our guests and made sure to capture tons of photos and videos at the same time. She literally sent a huge folder of cute content. The next morning, she brought her back and dropped her off right on schedule, and even hand wrote us a note to congratulate us and say how much she enjoyed watching Oatly. I'd 100% recommend Sit. Stay. I do. to anyone looking to make their dog a part of their special day!

    Our Dogs’ New Best Friend!

    Brooke is the sweetest, most professional dog handler! She took care of our dogs Blue and Reggiano the night before our wedding, throughout the whole wedding day, and for two weeks during our honeymoon. She gave us so many updates throughout that time that it felt like we were there with them. It was so nice having Brooke there on our wedding day because we knew the dogs were very well taken care of, and we got so many cute BTS pictures of them! She followed us throughout the day and was able to hand the dogs to us and take them back as needed. I think Brooke is a dog whisperer because she was able to get both dogs to look and smile for the camera during pictures!! Her bubbly personality made her such a joy to work with, and we can’t wait to have Brooke at more of our special moments!

    The Best in the Business

    Sit. Stay. I Do. made the entire process of including our dog Teddy in our wedding stress-free. Brooke expertly handled everything from pickup and drop-off, to feeding him dinner, to keeping him relaxed throughout the day. Brooke's communication was clear and professional from start to finish, which gave us total peace of mind. She even offered to meet up with Teddy in person before the big day so that we all felt comfortable. She showed genuine care for Teddy and went out of her way to make sure he was comfortable and happy. On the day of our wedding, we didn't have to worry about a single thing with him in her hands. We can't thank her enough for making our special day even more special by taking such great care of Teddy.

    Amazing experience!

    Brooke was phenomenal! She really made everything smooth and effortless. She is excellent at communicating. We did a video chat beforehand where she asked me about my vision for the day and about our dog's personality and needs. She arrived early and prepared. I honestly could not have gotten through the day without her. She was the MVP of the day! She is kind, warm, and loving with pets. Our dog was very calm and relaxed with her. Do not hesitate to use Brooke. You will not regret it!

    Amazing, friendly and, professional!

    I was so happy to find Sit and Stay for my wedding day. It was extremely important that our dog was present at our wedding ceremony and for pictures and finding a trustworthy dog attendant was easier than I thought once I met with Brooke. She was very attentive the day of our wedding and having my dog there made the day even more magical. All thanks to Sit and Stay! I would recommend them to anyone looking to have their dog at their wedding without the hassle.

Yes, we love the opportunity to spend more time with your furry friend(s)! We offer boarding before or after the wedding, let us know if you are interested.
Yes. The more the merrier! Each additional dog is a flat $100 per booking.
Yes, we love to travel! Additional charges apply depending on the location.
We'll respond to your inquiry within 24 hours, share a rough quote, and schedule a Zoom call to learn about your dog and wedding plans. After the Zoom call, we will send a final quote. To reserve your date, we require a signed contract and a 50% non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance is due two weeks before your wedding. After booking, we will coordinate with your planner as needed. We will check in as the wedding gets closer. From booking through the big day, you can reach us by text, email, or phone!
Totally up to you! Some couples like to have us or a family member walk the pets down the aisle. Others like the pets to simply sit in the crowd. Others have had us release the pets down the aisle by themselves. The world is your oyster and we LOVE getting creative.
We provide all the basics such as: - Back up leashes - Food + water bowls - Poopy bags - Toys - Puppy pads - Lint rollers - Puppy wipes - Umbrellas - Tide pen We do NOT provide: - Treats - Food - Medications
We do require all clients to confirm their venue is OK with pets on site before booking with us.
