I have a background in communications / theater and see every wedding as a mini play sharing a couples love story. I have been a professional speaker for over 25 years and know how to convey a wedding ceremony in a thoughtful, professional and colorful way that engages guests. I have officiated nearly a 1,000 wedding throughout Central Illinois over that last 15 years.

    Adam was everything we could have wanted and more! We knew from our first phone call that he would be a great choice in officiating our wedding! He was professional and such a kind person! He got to know us, making our ceremony personalized to our story! He was energetic and we received so many comments from guests on how well he did! I would 100% recommend Adam for your big day!!

    Easy and Simple

    Adam was very helpful to my husband and I as we had no idea how to start the ceremony process. He met with us over the phone to hear our story and get a better understanding of who we are. He then took our stories and created a mockup of what the ceremony would be. He had sample vows and ring exchange we could choose from. We ended up piecing a few together to create what we liked. The whole experience is all very personal and personalized to the couple. Adam is very quick to respond and answer any questions we had. He even did a phone call with us a few days before the rehearsal to go over the ceremony and read through it. This way I didn’t feel so rushed at rehearsal. Overall, Adam did a great job and I would recommend him to anyone looking for an officiant.

    Best officiant ever!

    AMAZING OFFICIANT!!

    Adam was extraordinary - our ceremony was absolutely perfect. We ended up booking him kind of last minute as we had some changes in plans, and he immediately got to work. He began by asking us questions about our relationship, and understood very quickly that we wanted a personalized ceremony. He kept in touch very often throughout the process and made any changes that we requested right away. I can't even describe how perfect he summed up our relationship. We had people coming up to us saying that was the best ceremony they have ever seen, and we of course agree. Adam is professional, kind, easy to work with, and we HIGHLY recommend him!!! We could not imagine anyone else officiating our special day!!!

Yes! I specialize in this, and it is one of the main reasons I embraced the wedding profession. Every couple deserves to have a say in their ceremony, to share their love story and have a message that represents their values and personalities. I collaborate with every couple by asking questions and providing rough drafts and revisions of their ceremony until they are happy and feel that it truly represents who they are as a couple.
I attend most rehearsals and inform the couples if I cannot attend before booking. Rehearsal is included in my fee.
Absolutely! These types of ceremonies are always fun and meaningful. I have officiated many of these over the years. Couples tend to be a bit more relaxed, creative with their ceremony and willing to have fun in these settings.
I do not provide or require premarital counseling? I am always willing to share insights and experiences from my 23 year-long marriage, but that is at no charge.
It has been 15 years since I officiated my first wedding.
