I got ordained with American Marriage Ministries in 2025 because it is for me a pleasure to legally officiate weddings and see the happiness of both newlyweds and their families. As a married person myself, it is also a reminder of the privilege of this of engagement. Being able to personalize the wedding script and get to know amazing love stories that were meant to be is a plus. Finally, and thanks to my bilingual skills Spanish-English, I am able to officiate weddings in both languages. All couples are welcome!

I am bilingual Spanish-English and I am reliable. My regular job is Elementary teacher in a public school in Beaverton. I am from Barcelona, Spain, and I have lived in the US for 11 years. I naturalized as a US citizen in 2018.

Marriage License Signing

Description

A simple, quick signing service with no formal ceremony. I will meet with the couple and two witnesses, confirm the required information, complete the marriage license, and return it to the appropriate county office.

Standard Wedding Ceremony

Description

A warm and meaningful wedding ceremony, including the legal signing of the marriage license. Available in English, Spanish, or bilingually. The couple may use my standard ceremony script and include personal vows if desired.

Personalized Wedding Ceremony

Description

A fully customized ceremony created around your relationship, story, values, and preferences. Includes a consultation, a personalized script for your approval, the ceremony in English, Spanish, or bilingually, and completion and return of the marriage license.

    Working with Marcos Rodriguez has been a genuine pleasure. His respectful and professional approach made it clear the couple was in capable hands. He took the time to communicate with the couple in advance, walked them through the marriage license requirements, and delivered a personalized ceremony that felt authentic to their vision. I can connect on videocall or call prior to the ceremony and review the script, and if you live close I can meet you in person and offer a paper script and work on possible changes. I don't need to rehearse in the venue, but if you feel you need to rehearse in the venue we could do it for a fee depending on distance and time.
I do not consider myself anyone who would be in a position of offering premarital counseling. What I can do is talk about the steps to get a marriage license, what it means to sign it in presence of two witnesses, and talk about what kind of ceremony you prefer. If you have decided to marry and know what level of commitment this mean, I am happy to officiate your wedding, offer a positive ceremony and celebration of love, and sign your marriage license :)
I am starting, so I haven't married many couples yet, but I know that the couples are happy with my service, have received their final marriage license and certificates in a timely manner and everything has run smoothly, so it's not a matter of how many weddings I have done, but how committed I am to make your wedding possible and show up the day and time you need me to be there for your ceremony and signature.
Yes. I was born in Barcelona, Spain, and was raised bilingual Spanish and Catalan. I learned English in School and once I came to the US in 2015. As a naturalized citizen of the US I also became more proficient in English, but I still have a strong Spanish accent :)
Absolutely! For 150 dollars I offer a personalized ceremony. If you want to make the ceremony even more special with some parts specifically written for you, your love story, your family and friends, I offer that service for 200 for the time invested in making your ceremony more unique. Some couples only want the signature ($100), other want a regular and professional ceremony with personalized arrangements ($150), and some prefer to work on a unique and more elaborated and personalized script ($200). I am happy to adapt to your needs.
