I'm Farabi, a photographer based in NYC, working with couples across the city and surrounding areas. I lead a team of photographers and videographers, so coverage scales to your day — one shooter for an intimate ceremony, or a full team for a larger celebration. My approach is a mix of candid and intentional. Real moments as they happen, plus the family portraits and group shots you'll actually want printed. Every gallery is fully edited and color-graded, never raw exports. I shoot everything from full wedding days to courthouse ceremonies, and I've covered celebrations across many cultures and traditions — weddings, engagements, baptisms, anniversaries, bar and bat mitzvahs.

Video can be added to any package. Since photo and video come from the same team, everything matches in style and color, and the two shooters stay out of each other's frames all day. You can also get mic'd audio for vows and speeches, so your film includes the words that were actually said, not just music over clips. Every image is fully edited and color-graded before delivery — no raw exports, no filler. And I'm responsive. You'll get answers the same day, and we'll walk through your timeline beforehand so nothing important gets missed.

    Made us feel so comfortable

    We were nervous about being in front of the camera, but Farabi made it so easy. He gave us simple directions, kept the mood fun, and got great shots of our families without anyone feeling rushed. We got our gallery back quickly and the photos look natural and beautiful. We’d book him again in a heartbeat!

    Great!!!

    Farabi was great to work with. I would hire him again for future events and recommend others for work as well. He was able to accommodate my needs for the events. He was able to capture moments I didn’t even realize I’d love! He was thoughtful and mindful of the space as a photographer. I can only hope his artistic talents and professionalism can continue to grow with him as others hire him for their special moments!

    Family reunion

    I got to know about Farabis work from instagram, was not sure at first. I decided to message him first and he was super polite and explained all of the process of the shoot. I booked him for a family reunion and it was a great experience! He was respectful and worked seamless without distractions to an event. Photos turned out great and it is something that my family will keep for a long term, definitely recommend!

Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
In my 12 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
