Professional photographer, lover of natural light, traveler, adventurer, happy wife and a dreamer! I fell in love with photography when my dad gave me his old film camera from a dusty box he had uncovered in our garage one spring cleaning day, and I have enjoyed taking photos ever since. I have travelled the world with my backpack, camera and trusty Apple laptop from Europe to India and South East Asia learning and being enriched by all the wonderful different cultures.

My husband and I settled in Portland, OR and have a second home out in the wild where we love campfire snuggles, epic hikes and some yummy s’mores! With all this life experience I fell in love with people and now as a wedding photographer I get the opportunity to capture one of the most important days in my client’s lives! It is more than just a job but a way for me to provide an unforgettable experience for my couples. Seeing them have the best day of their lives is something that can’t be put into words!!! And if my job wasn’t awesome enough I get to do it with my husband!!

Great Experience
From our first conversation with Kate Holt Photography, we knew we were in good hands. Noah, our photographer, brought such a positive energy to our wedding day that it made the whole experience feel effortless and fun. Kate Holt stayed in touch with us leading up to the wedding with helpful tips and thoughtful check-ins, which really put us at ease. Noah's friendly approach made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera, and the photos he captured are exactly what we hoped for. I would give 10 thousand stars
I worked with Gabby and the Kate Holt team for my wedding in the Columbia River Gorge in August 2026, and I cannot recommend them enough. Their prices are beyond fair for the value that they provide, and the professionalism was top-notch. Aside from the AMAZING photos which absolutely speak for themselves, Gabby made me and my husband feel so comfortable during our engagement session and got along so well with our family during the wedding. Kate and Dom were incredibly responsive and helpful with creating a timeline with us to make sure every shot was taken care of. The best wedding photographer ever!
I cannot recommend Kate Holt Photography enough for your big day. From helping us find the perfect photography package for our budget to planning our photography timeline to a T, Kate and Dom were so amazingly helpful and supportive from the very beginning! I also cannot say enough good things about our photographer Gabby, who not only helped us stay on track during all the wedding craziness, but also gave us the most beautiful wedding photos we will cherish forever. If you’re in the PNW (or anywhere else for that matter), they will make sure your special day is one you’ll never forget!

Our wine country wedding
Kate and Dom are wonderful people to work with. We would do it all again with them in a heartbeat! They were professional, timely, relaxed, friendly, and very artistic in their photography. Our experience with both the engagement session and the wedding was flawless. And the results speak for themselves. We have so many gorgeous photos to choose from. My husband and I found Kate at a wedding show!She had great energy and the portfolios were gorgeous. I saw everything I had been looking for in a wedding photographer and knew I had to reach out. We got to have a meeting with Dom to go over our options and decided to book Gabby for our wedding day. Kate and Dom were both incredible with communication and organization. They made it so Gabby knew exactly what we wanted. I cannot say enough good things about Gabby! She is kind, funny, never makes you feel awkward in front of the camera, and knows how to keep people laughing and smiling. Gabby did our engagement photos and our wedding photos. Everyone has told me what an incredible job she did and I completely agree! Kate has built something amazing and is truly so kind. I cannot recommend Kate Holt Photography enough!
