I’m Samantha, a fine art wedding photographer based in Santa Monica, capturing timeless, editorial imagery for couples across California, Cabo, Italy, France and beyond. With over a decade of experience, I bring gentle guidance and heartfelt storytelling to every celebration. My husband and I also offer seamless cinema for couples who want every moment artfully preserved, with seamless coverage and shared creative vision.

I feel things fiercely, and that connection is at the heart of everything I do. I’m deeply empathetic, nurturing, and fully present with every couple I work with. I don’t just show up to photograph a wedding, I’m there to hold space, calm nerves, and capture the soul of your story with intention and care. My fiancé and I had our photos taken by Samantha while we were visiting LA. Samantha was so professional, gave great direction, and was so personable throughout the experience. We have so many amazing photos printed throughout our house and look at them everyday! We would recommend her to anyone!!

We chose Klose Up Photography with Samatha behind the camera, and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From our first conversation, she was genuine and thorough with us, answering every question and making sure we felt comfortable and taken care of. On the day itself, Samatha captured all the little moments and real emotions that made our wedding ours—plus she got us sneak peeks before we even left the venue! Samantha is an amazing person and photographer!
Samantha is an amazing photographer! She is so friendly, professional, takes amazing photos and works really well with her clients to get them to pose in flattering ways. I love her and refer her to all of my friends and family. After our wedding she has shot all of our family photos of us over the years and our headshots! I highly recommend her!
