I show up, get to know you, and quietly capture everything as it unfolds — the moments you noticed, and the ones you didn’t. Gentle guidance when you need it. Just you, being completely yourselves.     We couldn't be happier with Love Story by Aira Photography for our daughter and son-in-law's recent wedding! From the initial consultation through the engagement shoot and wedding day, Aira was authentic, encouraging, responsive, and very easy to work with. She and her second photographer captured the day exactly as we had hoped--with creative, candid, and natural photos that reflected the beauty of the ceremony and venue and the energy of the reception. We also used her They Were There video service and loved seeing the day through the eyes of good friends behind the camera. It was such a special way to relive the celebration and Aira's editing was seriously impressive.     The Perfect P of our Special Day!

    Aira was so incredible. She was easy to work with, and super responsive. We were a little nervous about taking photos so it was nice to do our Engagement Photos with her as well to get used to being in front of the camera, and Aira was so good at guiding us and making us feel comfortable. Our wedding photos turned out spectacular, we cannot stop looking at them! Aira captured all of the big moments, as well as really sweet little moments we would not have been able to see without her there. She is creative with angles, lenses, and poses, and we could not be happier! We also used Aira's video service and it is truly one of our favorite things to look back at, she edited it so well, and it is such a fun way to see our wedding from a guests perspective!

    Wonderful Photos!

    Aira and her fellow photographer did a wonderful job at our wedding. They were able to capture the entire evening from start to finish, starting with getting ready and ending with our mock send off. The quality of the photos is excellent, demonstrating both skill and creativity. The number of photos is also impressive, providing us with many options to print and remember for years to come. Everything I do is organic. I focus on candid, documentary-style photography — but I won't just leave you hanging. I usually give gentle direction during portraits — where to stand, how to move, little prompts to help you feel natural. Other than that? No posing. No forced smiles. No stiff looks. Yes, all my wedding packages include a second photographer. Having a second shooter ensures coverage from multiple angles, a greater variety of images, and backup on your special day.
Don't worry! As a professional wedding photographer with experience in all kinds of weather, I'll help you plan and find the best locations for intimate, covered, or even dramatic rainy-day photos. Many of the most romantic and candid moments happen when we embrace the unexpected.
Depending on your package, I typically deliver 500 to 2000 final images. It takes about 6-8 weeks to deliver your full wedding gallery, but you'll receive a sneak peek of 10-20 images within a week. For engagement sessions, it takes about 2-4 weeks.
As a professional documentary wedding photographer, I use two Canon mirrorless cameras with a variety of Canon lenses to focus on the candid moments of your wedding day. I also use on- and off-camera flashes during your reception.
Your images will be uploaded to an online gallery. You can download either Hi-Res or Web-size images. You can also share the gallery with your friends and family.
I'm based in Maryland and travel around the world. For locations within a three-hour drive, travel is included without a specific charge. For locations outside the three-hour radius, please inquire with me for a price quote.
Yes! I offer unlimited consulting services to couples who have booked with me. I also offer one free consulting session to new clients. I love meeting in person to discuss your big day, whether in Washington DC, Baltimore, Annapolis, or elsewhere in Maryland. We can also schedule a phone or video chat at your convenience.
