I’m a Portland-based wedding photographer focused on capturing genuine emotion, meaningful moments, and the people who make your celebration special. My approach is relaxed and unobtrusive, allowing your day to unfold naturally while I create timeless images that tell the story of your wedding.

My priority is simple: your wedding day is about you. I’m not chasing social media content or trying to turn your celebration into a photo shoot. I’m there to document it honestly—the emotions, the people, the unexpected moments, and all the little details that make the day yours.     Smooth day, beautiful photos!

    Sebastian at SSP Photography was honest about what to expect and guided us through the entire process with clear advice. He understood that I didn't have a specific vision for my photos and took the time to help me figure out my style rather than pushing his own ideas. On the wedding day, he went out of his way to capture plenty of shots on the dance floor, which was something I really cared about, and our portraits turned out stunning. His work is beautiful and there's plenty of it to choose from. We felt in great hands the whole time and couldn't be happier with how our day turned out.

Typically, couples book me about 6-8 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 3-4 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive a USB drive with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my many years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
That’s completely normal! My approach is relaxed and natural. I’ll give you direction when you need it, but I won’t spend your wedding day constantly posing you. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, enjoy the moment, and capture genuine interactions as they happen.
Rain doesn’t have to get in the way of beautiful wedding photos. I’ll adapt to the weather, work with available indoor or covered locations, and take advantage of breaks in the rain when possible. Sometimes unexpected weather creates some of the most memorable images of the day.
Yes. A second photographer is included with my Premier Wedding Collection and can also be added to other packages. A second photographer is especially helpful for larger weddings, separate getting-ready locations, multiple ceremony angles, and capturing moments happening at the same time.
Absolutely! While I’m based in Portland, Oregon, I’m available for weddings throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Whether you’re getting married on the Oregon Coast, in the mountains, or planning a destination wedding, I’d love to hear about it. Travel fees may apply depending on the location.
